  1. Since TLG offered the Grand Hotel for 130 Euros in 2015, I could even well imagine another set in about that price range in 2017, in 2019, ... . So since I highly doubt that this would appear in the City theme, I'd like to get an opera house / theater: - half opened (like nearly all Friends / City sets) - entrance with ticket and food selling and stairs upstairs - audience's room - stage with mold loft floor What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  2. I even really would like to get a System scale, Lego City compatible Maersk Container Ship to go with the Maersk Container Train from 2011. For maritime stuff I furthermore would like a pilot boat and a tug boat. A harbor tour boat for tourists would be really nice, too. As well as a small water police station with water police boat and police divers. Klaus-Dieter
  3. With this year's Winter Train I then hope that in 2017 we will finally get a new and very well designed building. Hopefully a train station or a candy shop. Klaus-Dieter
  4. Thank you very much for the information, legomilk! A new Police theme was to await. Do you think that "more boats" means only 60147 and another boat in the Great Vehicles theme - or a whole Harbor theme (in addition) (which is since long overdue since the last harbor theme was back in 2011)? When we take "ambulance" literally, this would be only one ambulance. But could it even be a whole ambulance / hospital theme with the since long awaited hospital, a rescue helicopter and a doctor's car? For sure a regular police theme like every three years (2008-2011-2014-2017-...). Nevertheless I hope that TLG will include something new and interesting and not only the redundant stuff. A new bank or a jeweler's shop would be highly welcome. The left minifigure of the three is indeed the Sport Fishing Boat's captain, the minifigure on the right is a female construction site worker. I bet that the one in the middle is either a racing car driver or a motorcyclist - why should he wear a helmet otherwise?! Klaus-Dieter
  5. I like that boat, too! It's not acutally a real fishing boat, but a good looking motorboat with people at fishing. There are a decent number of fish and the shark is funny. And persumable twenty Euro for it is really a nice price for a nice set. Nevertheless I'm hoping that much for a real fishing cutter (supposably more supposable in an exclusive City set). I think that it actually has a watertight hull since it seems to be the for boats often used piece http://brickset.com/parts/design-92709. Btw: When you look at the right top corner of the set "box", you can see three minifigs with different torsos. The middle one seems to wear a completely new torso as well as a completely new face. Could this be a hint for another racing / motor sports / motorcycle sports set in the Great Vehicles theme? Plus we can detect a female construction site worker. So do you think that there will be minimum one construction site vehicle in this theme, too? Klaus-Dieter
  6. Here are some two completely new ideas I really would like to see TLG releasing: Track Repair Train - yellow shunting engine (similar to 3677) with blinking light on top - yellow waggon with tank for bulk freight and conveyor belt in order to bring new substratum on the tracks - small yellow caboose with small kitchen, toilet and storage room for tools - small yellow waggon with lifting platform in order to repair signals - light signal - some tracks - Octan train filling station on a small platform - accessory: shovel, brush, radio set, barrels, welding equipment, different tools, megaphone, blinking lights, barriers, bulk freight - minifigs: four train workers Snow Service Engine - red shunting engine (similar to 3677) with blinking light on top - attachable dozer blade for clearing away the snow from the tracks - accessory: snow shovel, shovel, brush and radio set - minifigs: two train workers What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  7. Here are some two completely new ideas I really would like TLG to release: The Daily Newspaper Delivery Truck (20 Euros) - a truck looking very similar to the Lego Truck in the City Center set, but in white color with the emblem of "The Daily Lego News" on it - a small street scenery with a newspaper box next to a bench and a street light and tree - accessory: pushcart and some newspapers - minifigs: newspaper delivery guy (with new torso print) and a female passerby City Tour Bus This one could be release in three different versions: City Tour Bus - small set (20 Euros) - a red bus with seats and stairs inside to its top and even some seats and a railing on the top of the bus - accessory: microphone, camera - minifigs: male bus driver, female tourist guide, boy City Tour Bus - medium sized set (30 Euros) - a red bus with seats and stairs inside to its top and even some seats and a railing on the top of the bus - a small monument (e. g. a Siegessäule or a small statue) - accessory: microphone, camera, mobile phone - minifigs: male bus driver, female tourist guide, boy, woman City Tour Bus - large set (50-70 Euros) - a red bus with seats and stairs inside to its top and even some seats and a railing on the top of the bus - a huge monument (e. g. an Arc de Triumph or a big fountain) - a small scenery with a bench, a streetlight, a dustbin, a flowerbed and a brick-built tree - a tourist kiosk (16x8) with a big displag selling newspapers, postcards, candy stuff and flowers - accessory: microphone, camera, mobile phone, newspapers, postcards, flowers, candy stuff - minifigs: male bus driver, female tourist guide, boy, girl, mother, father, shop keeper I personally would prefer the large version of the set. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  8. Hello everybody! For now the beginning of August is already is already over, following is really not much, but at least a bit: Brickset lists 60147 Fishing Boat as a 2017 City set. I'd say this looks like one of the Great Vehicles themed sets for twenty Euros. Klaus-Dieter
  9. Yes, it was nesquik in the 2016 Trains sets topic; already some months ago. So possibly this was a former idea but TLG finally decided to release only one build. Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for the picture and the further information, CM4Sci! I'll finally judge this train after having seen more pics. How I see it am whether I'll buy it or not will even depend on whether it's PF compatible and the instruction for this is in the box included. The only thing I can say already now is that I'm very disappointed about there being no big passenger car and even about the big lack of details. I'm still excited about whether there in fact will be a second building alternative included like previously stated and if so how it'll look like. Klaus-Dieter
  11. I really do hope so, too, Borex! (Since I already own the 2013 A-Wing, I don't need another one.) But why then the set description says "ROTJ" and "Rebel Pilot"?! Therefore I'm very sceptical about this set being a Cloud Car. Klaus-Dieter
  12. I'm quite sure that TLG designed the train in that way that you can add PF to it and this is shown in the instructions, too - like it has been with all previous Creator Expert trains. Klaus-Dieter
  13. The content of this year's advent calendar does really look great! I really like the many OT minifigs to come with it (since I do only buy OT sets) - esp. the amazing exclusive E-3PO and Cloud City guard! This time it's after years that I'm going to buy the SW advent calendar (since the last years all acs weren't interesting enough for me). Klaus-Dieter
  14. Yes and no. I can't imagine TLG producing a brick for using it in only one set. But having this piece in brown integrated in a Winter Train set seems looking seldom to me - esp. in the steam engine. As part of some old styled passenger waggon it could be. Klaus-Dieter
  15. Thank you very much for updating the first post, Stash2Sixx! So Yoda's Hut seems to be the set nr. 75168 and come with R2-D2, Yoda and possibly another minifigure (of course Luke?!). Great! I'm not that hyped about the Desert Skiff since it won't include any new minifigure. It's a good idea TLG including a Tusken in the new Landspeeder. Like many of you, I'm so much hoping for Bantha here. That strange set withe the set number 75179 and Lando, a Rebel Pilot and a crewman included: For only three minifigures and since we haven't had an OT A-Wing since 2013, could this set be a new OT A-Wing? Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thanks for posting the S@H calendar piece, CM4Sci! Since usually S@H sets are presented officially about one month before their release, I think - and hope - that we'll get pictures of the Winter Train at the latest in the middle of August. I bet that in the set there won't be any PF function nor any tracks included. That would make the set much too expensive since Creator Expert Sets are very detailed anyway - so we can expect the train to include many details, a nice build and some nice accessory. Which concerns the train station: I don't see any train station to be included in the big version of the set. But nesquik a long time ago mentioned that this set should be a 2 in 2 set. So couldn't it be that the building alternative is a much smaller train with a train station? I personally would prefer a train station to be included in the building alternative. Because in 2017 I want to get another building for my Winter Village which is a candy shop, a grocers or a town hall. And not having to wait for the next buidling / WV shop til 2018. Klaus-Dieter
  17. ZebbyBricks, thank you very much for the information of TLG releasing a new Sports theme next year! Can you please give us more set details and even themes and sets of next year's City sets? That would be really nice! Thanks. Klaus-Dieter
  18. It's great that we had gotten a picture of the minifigs already weeks ago - thanks! The Arabian Knight is a huge let-down. Apart from him this series seems to be a great series! I'm really looking forward to get some of these minifigs! Klaus-Dieter
  19. Thank you very much for confirming and for the pic, just2good! I'm really curious about the outcome of this theme - but only if the minifigs would be yellow (and not skin) colored! Klaus-Dieter
  20. Interesting topic, jjr_2009! Because of the huge success of Fun in the Park I could well imagine that TLG is going to release more minifigure packs of this sort in the future. But with a minimum distance of two, rather three years. A winter themed as well as a summer themed one would really be welcome! I think that the rumored sports theme won't be part of the City theme but be a seperate theme similar to Speed Champions. So I even don't see a minifigures pack inside that new theme. But seperate sets with minifigs, vehicles, equipments and locations. Klaus-Dieter
  21. Thank you very much for the information, amazingbricks! A new Yoda's Hut is since long overdue and consequently I really like the idea of it really getting a set! The only question is: Will it be a set on its own (about 30 Euros, only the hut, maybe one or two trees, Dagobah Luke, R2-D2 and Yoda) or will it be released together with a X-Wing as a bigger set? Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for this news, Brotherfromanotherbrick! A new sports theme is since long overdue! So it's great to hear that we'll get one! But only if minifigs were fleesh. Which considers that I'm optimistic that they'll be. Speed Champions is namely a theme with many licenses and nevertheless the minifigs have yellow heads and hands. So why shouldn't be that the case with a sports theme, too?! Plus I hope that TLG will add some additional stuff to the sets which is not absolutely necessary - like some viewers, a machine to prepare the ice on which the hockey players play, a small hut for the skiiers to have a drink etc. Klaus-Dieter
  23. Thank you very much for the information and the pic, CM4Sci! The set looks very similar to the original one. So it's a bit a pity that TLG didn't design something completely new but in the style of CC. Nevertheless getting this as a free set, this is of course a nice thing! Count me in! But even better than only a Classic Western giveaway would be a reintroducement of the Western theme! The time next year would be perfect since it would be ten years when Western was released. I want a saloon, a ranch, a post station and a Western train so much! Klaus-Dieter
  24. Thank you all very much for the many new pics and reviews! The Fun in the Park set is definately one of the best sets TLG has ever been released! Of course it can't be denied that it's expensive. But on the other hand it includes that many new and amazing civilian torsos which we never would have gotten in this number in regular City sets. And if you bought 14 CMFs, you had to pay about the same price. Btw: Only because TLG included a wheelchair in this set, this does not necessarily mean that we'll get a hospital theme in 2017. Of course it may be. But on the one hand we already now and then have seen a sign for something which then didn't become reality. On the other hand I of course would highly welcome a hospital theme, too - but only if TLG released a decent sized hospital with many rooms and great interior. Something that small like the last one from 2012 is only waste. Klaus-Dieter
  25. Thank you very much for the pics of the party shop and the performance school, just2good, for the links to the reviews, Exetrius and for the review, Zusammengebaut! I've got mixed feelings about the Performance School: I don't care about the too small school bus, but the interior of the school has too much pink in it and is too spartanic. On the other hand the exterior looks really great with this old schoolhouse architecture. I'm displeasingly excited that the Party Shop is 16x24 (instead of 16x16) and has only one floor (instead of two). But the exterior design as well as the interior - esp. the chocolate fountain - look really nice and perfectly fitting for preparing a birthday party. Klaus-Dieter
