  1. To me only the ski hut appears. Its facade looks a bit similar to the WV sets and so will go well with them. And it'll be even the only set of the winter subtheme I'll buy - if anyway. The SUV actually looks well designed, but has too many girlish colours for a car on it. The ice rink is much, much too small. And the ski lift is - like I already feared by judging its price and place in the Friends theme - really ugly and undecent. Like the rollercoaster last year, there are thousands of things included in this set, but none of them is design decent, realsitic and good looking.
  2. Thank you very much for the further information! Since I can't find the pics: Can someone please send me a link?
  3. Brickset has now the mostly common set prices: Space Shuttle Explorer 35€ Poolside Holiday 25€ Modern Home 40€ Family Villa 65€ Turbo Track Racer 50€
  4. Brickset has now the mostly common final prices listed: Surf Shop 20€ Speed Boat Transport 30€ Catamaran 75€ Hospital 100€ Name? €? (I bet an exlusive set) Winter Sports SUV 18€ Ice Rink 30€ Ski Chalet 45€ Ski Lift 60€ Friends Advent Calendar 30 Dollars (Attention: I partly didn't post the official set names!)
  5. Brickset has the final and in most European countries common prices of nearly all summer sets now on their site: FATB 45 € Bus Station 45 € City Advent Calendar ?€ JE Buggy 6€ JE Starter Set 10€ JE Cargo Heli 20€ JE Halftracked Vehicle 30€ JE Mobile Laboratory 50€ JE Exploration Location 100€ Name? €? (I bet for a JE Exclusive) CG Starter Set 10€ CG Water Plane 20€ CG 4x4 30€ CG Heli 50€ CG HQ 100€ CG Exclusive Set ?€ Cargo Terminal 75€ (Attention: I partly didn't post the official set names!)
  6. I read once more the description Kevii23 posted and noticed that there won't be any ice-cream cart in the FATB set - that would be too bad (better they let out the canoe)! These are really good ideas, TheLegoPerson9! Why don't you post them in the "Ideas for new City sets" topic?!
  7. That's really an awesome MOCset, crayonbol! Honestly I never would have thought that a fire station will ever fit in the WV. But having this amazing one, I changed my mind! But not only the house itself, even the vehicles look brlliant! If TLG released this, I immediately would buy it!
  8. That's a stunning MOCset, eliza! Esp. the shop's interior is that beautiful and detailed done - but everything other, too. I immediately would buy it if TLG released it!
  9. Thank you very much for the further information, Kevii23! The contents of the FATB set sound promising! It's nice that we're getting a telehandler in the freight terminal set (since it's years ago that we got the last one)! Can you please describe the building a bit? I really like it that the bus set comes with a news stand!
  10. Never mind, you've done the best you could do! And thanks for clarifying! It's really cool that the Freight Terminal won't include any plane but will "only" be a small depot (?) and a truck and (maybe) a forklift (which absolutely would make sense in order to load and enload goods on and from the truck). So since the set will be about 70-80 Euros, I think and hope that we could await a decent size of the building and even some nice interior (hope is for even a small office there). Thank you very much for this information, Roebuck! I really like it that TLG includes so many animals since this makes the setting much more realistic and adds more playability. Furthermore it's a chance to get animals for other layouts.
  11. Thank you very much for the information on the sets, Kevii23! You don't remember whether some of the minifigs had printed legs (= trunks) or not, do you? Could the small build be a kiosk or statue / fountain? So isn't there a plane included? I can't believe this since this would be too good. It's great to get confirmation about the JE theme being a theme for researching for historical stuff! I would have prefered Maya's or Aztec's pyramids over Islanders' caves, but Islanders if fine, too. Do you think that it was only the masks you saw or are there Islanders as minifigs included, too? Thank you very much for the info, legomilk! So it's from today on three weeks til we'll get the first pics - that's to await.
  12. Of course it's good that Friends and City can share builds! Only about a good 1/3 of my City buildings consists of City sets, less than 1/3 is Creator and 1/3 is Friends. But imo there is a huge difference: Shops and family homes today often have some girlish colors in their front and even in their interior and furniture. Consequently it's with many Friends buildings no problem to include them in your City city. But having a hospital with pink, purple, light blue and light green in a City city is absolutely unrealistic and bad-looking imo. The same would be with a police station or fire station.
  13. It was spoken of a big animal - namely some type of big wild cat. And in CMF series there are always only small animals. So imo definately no.
  14. Do you think, too, that there'll be some traps and cages for getting the tigers / jaguars / panthers / whathever kind of big wild cats under control? I hope that the duck rubber ring piece will be included in FATB, too. I thought once more about the minifig selection: The set would only be really cool and selling well if TLG printed the legs of the majority of the minifigs - even of the kids' pants - so that they look like wearing trunks. But that's much more costly than regular, one-color legs. And the most beach torsos won't be able to be used for regular City sets. So I could even imagine that the number of minifigs will be less than the one in the FATP set.
  15. So to summarize there are still three remaining sets: 60155: An exclusive civilian set (maybe a small street scenery since apart from the bank there's otherwise no single civilian house in 2017)? Or the advent calendar? I hope that the first one will be the case. 60162: The advent calendar? Or an exclusive JE set? The first option sounds more supposably to me since there are already six (regular) JE sets. 60168: It is listed at Brickset as a CG set, consequently will even be an exclusive CG set. But what could it include since there already will be a heli and a waterplane in the regular sets? I personally betted that we'll get a Harbor theme in 2017. But now we know that we won't. So these stickers do not neccessarily have to say anything. But I agree with you that there could be and should even be another civilian set this summer - supposably an Exclusive (since otherwise it would have been in the list). Doubtment here that it'll be a whole city center since TLG for sure keeps a huge (exclusive) civilian set for 2018 for te 60th birthday of City / Town (if this was proven wrong, I'd eat my hat.) But maybe a small street scenery with one or two 8x16 / 16x16 buildings might imo be possible. In this case it's not the colors which disturb me (since here in Europe these rides are very colorful, too), but the imo very undecent build (only two minifigs can sit in the skyfall ride, there are much to thin "holds" for the gondolas of the ferris wheel and the rollercoaster is simply a bad joke).
  16. That'll depend on how much girl-color-intensitive they'll be and how decent they'll be built. Since there are always Friends sets which you can include very well in a city (like this year's villa) and some which absolutely not (e. g. last year's rollercoaster / ferris wheel / skyfall set). Btw: Do you think, too, that in the CG theme there'll be small sceneries included to tie with the Fun At The Beach set?
  17. That's a completely stunning MOCset, kovacs! I always wondered why TLG hasn't been releasing a Lego Factory theme or at least one huge exclusive set since imo this would be the nearest thing to do! If this creation was released, I'd buy it immediately since a Lego Factory is absolutely needed in my Lego City! Of course I already voted on it on Lego ideas. Good luck and please let it become real!
  18. Ah, thanks for clarifying, Aanchir!
  19. The guessing game is (luckily) over: legomilk posted the new animal which will appear in the City Jungle Exploration theme in the 2017 City sets topic. I'm that glad that it isn't a gorilla and consequently am really looking forward to this since long overdue animal!
  20. Thank you very much for this information, legomilk! A tiger is really great news! So I'm really looking forward to seeing pics of the summer sets, too!
  21. Thank you very much for the link to the set lists, ondra! I wonder about how decenet a public swimming bath could be if it's common price will be around 20-25 Euros. Family house and modern house sound interesting. But interesting for me only if they could be opened in the back to place them like the Park Street House etc. to include them in my city. But normally we only get this one set in the beginning of the year and all other Creator buildings are then classic "creatorish". Well, we'll see.
  22. Thank you all very much for the information! 70617 Backstreet Break-in and 70620 Ninjago City Invasion sound like if they included some houses which could go well with the Temple of Airjitzu (for a eastern medieval layout). I'm curious about seeing pics.
  23. Thanks for clarifying this, Penkid11! I somehow did overread that it was already stated that this theme is only fake. It's really not nice that we don't get this Sports theme (car fans get their Speed Champions theme, too)!
  24. Thank you very much for the list, makoy! Apart from that I'd have prefered a ski hotel over a ski chalet, a winter sports theme sounds like it could have potential! I only hope that the ski chalet will be big enough and include a decent interior and that the ski lift will be a decent built. Hopefully in one of the sets there will be a pisten bully. It's a very bad news that the hospital goes to the Friends theme instead of to the City theme! I don't care about the speedboat transporter. But the surf shop might be nice. Surely very small - in about the size of the gift service shop this January, but more decent since it'll be the same price but without truck. In contrast to the gift service shop I hope the surf shop will have sidewalls. The most excited I'm about the catamaran. For the price of common 80 Euros, I bet that it'll be more some kind of yacht. Surely with nice interior and a bar on deck.
  25. Which concerns the coast guard sets: Whether there'll be sets which are worth buying can firstly been judged after having seen good pictures. I highly doubt that every set will be that interesting. But there's one really positive thing - namely that finally the CG people get a HQ! Hopefully it'll be more decent than the one from 2008. Plus TLG is now more aware of the importance of including civilian stuff even in themes like Police, Fire and Rescue. So I could even see a small beach scenery, an overturnde yacht or a small cargo ship which rammed a rock. Don't you think? I really like the idea of some sort of very small re-design of the Cargo Center (which I sadly don't own, but which wouldn't go with these days City sets anyway), lightningtiger. But - like already said - I honestly doubt that the set will be this.
