Of course a proper lego city has a lego store. Looks very good. Especially the o!d buildings. Looks like a friendly place to settle down!

This looks very promising! And it seems that its going to be a pretty complex thing too - impressive! There is something I wonder though: radial and rotary engines have an odd number of pistons (for smooth operation, I think). Do you think that is possible to include in your plane too?

I'm happy to hear that Thank you very much! How to demonstrate the fix better than in practical application? Also I will use your comment as reference for an application at TLG Thank you! My goal was to keep the cosmetic changes as small as possible. So mission accomplished, I guess! Other modifications I did on other sets were less subtle, but it really depends on what you start with. Lego sets are usually very elegantly and efficiently built, so I don't want to ruin that with overengineering something

This looks very good. The animations are smooth, very nicely made and the picture is crisp. Very charming!

Ninjago airship and temple
Littleworlds replied to Bricktrain's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
They look both very cool! The temple has some beautiful landscaping going on and the roof tiles look very good, but my favourite is the airship. It looks wonderfully over the top and therefore fits just perfect into the theme The segmented sails are pretty clever and I like its steam/dieselpunk-feel a lot. -
Thank you! And yes, they do! I bet soon he will take a cow between its jaws Thanks! Thank you! I like staying in the spirit of the set and just improve as much as really necessary. I know that sets always have constraints on the number and complexity of pieces etc, but that was such an obvious flaw!

Thats my feelings too. They are just too small and flat really. For these reasons I already gave the corner deli a pass.

Oh wow! This looks utterly amazing! A wonderful combination of colours, textures and shapes. It really invites the eye to wander and discover! Wonderful build

Importance of quality when buying used pieces?
Littleworlds replied to Nathan734's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I agree with you guys above. As a customer you expect used parts being in very, very good condition. In most cases I find them actually indistinguishable from new parts. -
They are supercute and just perfect little vignettes!
-
Thanks for pointing at these pieces. They are new to me actually. Very interesting though and they really fill some gaps in the range. Not only for the dragon.

Looking at things like that caterpillar for breaking into the bank, they might actually become they new villains!

Hello everyone! I recently got the charming little set Cole's Dragon (70599). While I am really taken by the many ways to articulate the dragon, I was never quite happy with the way they did the neck and the jaw of it. So I fiddled a bit and came up with a fix: Recap: that's how the original (vanilla) version looks like: Instead of a jaw you can open and close, it is clipped on something which looks like a pretty blocky blaster, which makes it not only stay open but also get knocked off pretty easily. This really had to change, so I removed these parts: and replaced them with: As a handy side-effect, I wasn't only able to make the jaw nicely close, but also gave the head/neck joint a much more realistic way of articulation too. The final result looks like: The "kinda-blaster-piece" got replaced by a very similar piece we all know and love from classic space times, the first bar piece with clip gets into the bottom side, the second one goes into the tube at the end of the dragon's neck. Surprisingly simple, but pretty effective! Anyway, the dragon seems to like it! Rawr! Having the jaw as one piece might at first thought appear as a step back, but it does work well with the overall look of the dragon. Also it is a very sturdy construction and the studs give the nice hint of teeth. Hearing these news, my Dragon Queen found it was really getting time that her pet gets some proper training: The Queen's Right Hand was more than happy to oblige and soon was able to show off his success in hand-feeding the beast: Too bad for him, it decided to take the bigger snack. Why taking just a chicken leg if you can have a whole meal? Luckily, the only thing that really got hurt was the dragon tamer's pride. And the Queen was pretty amused. After all the beast showed cunning initiative!

[MOC] Hercules and the Hydra of Lerna
Littleworlds replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This looks very good. Amazing ground detailing.Together with the pillars it really creates a feel of a scene happening long-time ago in the Mediterranean. Makes me really want to go there for a holiday. On a beach without hydra though. Its is pretty cool though. Appropriately menacing! -
Oh wow! This looks fabulous! There is so much going on in it, all these exhibitions and how well they fit into the layout of the building. Really amazing work
-
Oh wow, I didnt see that earlier. Looks very naturalistic. You must have studied the current reconstructions pretty thoroughly. Impressive! I also like the elegance of your building. It looks dynamic and I can't see a spot on it I would change
-
Just hilarious! I really like it! Some great and silly fun ideas. Vader & grandson for example is simply genius I did a very similar build a couple of months ago. I can already see their franchise chains battling over the gastronomical control of the galaxy!

[Classic Space/Futuron MOC] Fast Space Cruiser Andromeda
Littleworlds replied to Littleworlds's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks! That's a very good point I was debating with myself back and forth. Thing is, that the windscreen limits the width of that part of the ship. So I went for starting narrow and making it wider towards the bridge. I will indeed look for a better solution in future. Ideally they would be all in one place, but for now they will have to make to with the intercom But yes, there will be refits, there will be new Andromedas over time where issues like this will be addressed- 6 replies

A pizza van to fall in love with. So cute little ideas on it. This is really a must-buy and a super addition to lego city I'm not so fussed about the rest though. Nothing really exciting.

[MOC] Mon Calamari MC35 Destroyer Escort
Littleworlds replied to ProvenceTristram's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mon Calamari ships are quite difficult to build in Lego for obvious reasons, but you really rocked it! Looks very proper and that you gave it minifig scaled interior is a very neat icing on the cake. I love it -
Wow! I love the concept and how you realized it! The colours are spot on and go very well with the build quality, which I can only describe as fantastic. This really makes me want to build a technology-inspired display like this too! I would swap the guy at the cern model with someone looking a bit less like an imperial officer. Is he modifiying it? And if so, is he pointing it at alderaan?

Very inspiring! Being a fan of (mad) science, i see a lot to pick up from your build. Amazing little build and a perfectly set up scene

Wow! This is very atmospheric and beautifully furnished with a very inventive use of pieces. Really impressive! I also like the background and the filter you used. Very subtle, but creates a perfect vintage-feel.

These looks pretty gorgeous! I really like the combination of weapons and armour here. They represent a rather unrepresented time in history. Very good!

How long does a bricklink order usually take?
Littleworlds replied to Brikkyy13's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It really depends on the individual seller and their TOS. I places one order a while ago and found out later that he by defau!t ships 1 week after you paid... In your case, if the TOS isnt saying anything about the time it takes to ship the goods, I would poke him about it in PM. Maybe it got dropped somehow. I usually dont want to give the sellers a bad rating for things like that, if they are responsive and try to satisfy their customer after their blunder.
