A suitable fate for him that is a nice play on his status in the fandom. For many he is the definite symbol that unites everything that went wrong with the prequels, so having him end up as sad and outcast clown - just confirms what he de facto is And yes, he indeed was the person who went forward to support him when it came to granting Palpatine extended powers. The last piece in the puzzle so to say.

I completely agree. Unusual in many ways and very cool!

[SoNE Ep. XIII] Sullust - Assassination from the Shadow
Littleworlds replied to Ninja Nin's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Impressively executed (pun intended!) action scene! Everything in your build says proudly "yes!" to me. From the lovely character design and angles, to the super realistic scattering of the rocks. Great job -
This is excellent. Especially considering how difficult it sometimes is to create curves with lego. Using the bent tubes at the rear is a very elegant solution and visual guide. But the most impressive part are definitely the sails and the rigging: simply amazing!

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Littleworlds replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I just checked and TLG has released a surprising number of modern jet-fighter type airplanes. Usually called "racer" or something like that instead of "fighter", so it seems not that unlikely to me that they would do a red arrow as well. And with their licensed-sets there seems to be much more possible as well. The Sopwith Camel I can understand from a different point of view though. Its an airplane from an utterly different era than anything that is in the skies today. So there is no real connection to any current real-life designs. Its to me more like having a pirates theme with all the muskets and cannons. Yes, they are weapons, but in no way like the stuff that is used today. In general though I think the trend for TLG goes to be more lenient with these things as they were some 15 or so years ago.Always touching their self-imposed limits, but I don't expect them to make dedicated modern military sets anytime soon thankfully. -

This looks really amazing and super realistic. Well done! -
In other news, it made already 200M at the box office. So it seems that people are not bothered by such idiotic protests

This reminds me so much on the first wave (no pun intended!) of pirates back in 89/90. So good to see this! It is such a beautiful ship. The colour combination works very well on it.

Looks good! Like a combination between Tron and Alien in my opinion. The curved lines just give it this bio-tech feel. Awesome light effects btw.

This is really something special. Great, super-realistic layout and lovely detailing. Beautiful!

RLUG members' input on LEGO packaging
Littleworlds replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh these ones were great! I just did the survey as well. Pointing out that it wont do to just slap a UCS label on something to make it appear more "premium" (I don't like that word). Content counts, dear Hoth-designers -
Cool review! I was so deep in my dark ages in '99 that I had till now no idea there was a ninja theme around the time. They look in hindsight very much like the transitional phase they indeed were. Details are pointing into the right direction, like the weapons and face prints. But the colour palette is still knee deep in the 80s and 90s. Thank you for this Lego-history lesson. Was really interesting!

This is really brilliant and healthy unconventional. The orange works pretty well for a public-transport colour and with the clean design.

New Caesar Cinema and sneakershop (+portal) modular.
Littleworlds replied to SollX's topic in LEGO Town
This is really a charming build. The cheese-wedges for sneakers work very well. About the upside-down tiles, I am not so sure. Maybe just 1x1 plates instead? Anyway, the store looks very proper. Just like what you find in every city I also like how you implemented the Pizza Van-set into the build. Made me smile! Also very nice interior of the cinema. Maybe a darker red for the floor though? Also the facade of the upper floor of the cinema looks quite dominating compared to the ground floor. I would consider make it look a bit lighter and less massive. All in all though great work - and a cute portal robot! -
Super impressive. I really like how the landing gear is linked to the wings. Very elegant! Yes, that definitely sounds like the empire

Wow! What a review! I did one of the Yellow Submarine by myself a couple of days ago, but yours is just so much better. All these photographs! Its indeed a pretty sweet set and does great as a display piece. Also fun to see that you enjoyed the hotdog-railing as much as I did I also notice some slight overexposure on some of the pictures. That's very much the same issue I often have with white sets on white backgrounds. Anyway. Awesome review and a set that just makes one happy!

Just awesome. Seeing your dieselpunk builds gives me so much Inspiration. Lovely detailing and that pod with the flamethrower and the gladiator-style helmet on the guy - so cool!

This looks really good! Seems 2017 is the year of food & drink to go in the lego universe . Very cute build. Simple, neat and clever designed. I like the use of the wheelchair wheels for the cart. Gives it a bit of a retro feel. Beautiful!

Sometimes a thread seems to get "lost" in the recent-posts-view, which is a pity. You just overlook it... If gotoAndLego hadnt replied, I probably would have missed it as well. I have seen this set the other day on jangbricks and was instantly impressed by the building techniques used (and the fact that they made a vintage racecar in the first place!). Now seeing your mod sets the standard even higher for minifig scale. Beautiful cars!

Thats really cool. There is quite some weirdness going on in that gallery! Ok, and its a bit creepy... In a good way! Also nicely arranged

I like star trek a lot and I would love to see more of its universe. If I had only known the last couple of series and films that have been made, they wouldn't have made me a fan though. Too formularic and shallow. Trek fell from a groundbreaking series, as TOS and TNG were at their time, to being too self referential and mediocre. As for discovery: there are some names now and a video (and if that doesnt work, here is the source) with a couple of shots from the sets. Nothing that gives much of an idea of the quality of the stories etc, but there has been a little outcry about aliens that might be or not the new klingons . I wont be disappointed if they were. Why not shaking things up a bit with modernized looks. Anyway - just wait and see. It might be great, it might be not.

I didn't know that, thats pretty cool. I know this sounds trivial, but I have seen batman always as a dark character. Shadows, silence... a hunter of criminals who overcomes then with fear and surprise as much as with tech-gadgets and hands-on violence^^. In the films he is, for my linking, often too exposed (not counting the Lego one, that one is deliberately and in a good way silly). I better stop the off-topic talk now. At least it shows that this MOC is genuinely inspiring
