  1. That looks like a tipical trailer for the states I like that
  2. 53 ft containers are generally railway use only the max you would see on the road is a 40ft you have to love ldd and unlimited bricks
  3. Cool I am looking forward to seeing your moc
  4. would you be able to post a wip or a few more renderings of your MAN, looks very interesting ..
  5. what its the part # or parts you are using for the swash plate? that your 9 long link and 6 long arm are connecting to?
  6. I love the grey TLC80, its a good colour combination, but do you have a LDD or photos of that yellow test ramp as that is neat, I have seen RM8 using one and it would be great to build to test models out on.
  7. What makes it more fun is driving a Canadian registered truck and being pulled up in Mexico on a nz license the rule book went out the window that day. Sorry very long day but yes your correct
  8. I'm finding this discussion quite funny, ( and for the record I drove trucks in Canada and the states and Australia and currently do in NZ ) don't get me started on pivot points and rear overhang, axle set and other shite that seriously you will toss your cookies over.. but anyway using the mack anthem if you wanted more weight on the front axle you simply move the fith wheel forward the basic rule of thumb was every notch would move 500 lbs ( the difference between a cab over and a long nose is bull!@#$ ) your axle groups are the same and so is your axle spacing the only difference would be the fifth wheel setting ... as for a cab over giving you more cargo length sorry the trailer rules, over hang and pivot point come into play Now that is IF you are using a fixed trailer axle group, in the US with the 53' reefers that you commonly see you can move the reefer axle group forward or back to change the kingpin weight bla bla bla .... like I said don't get me started... ( for the record my Australian road train carried 2000lites metric of fuel and I had on the lead trailer another 1000l belly tank. the Scania tip truck I'm currently driving has a single 450liter tank and that's just a run around town truck .... Oh I can't wait for this set to come out but Im sure someone will redo this set on 64tires....
  9. Just so effortlessly would give a jellyfish a hard on
  10. the longest reefer ( that's what they are called in the states) is 53ft...
  11. as a owner of a 1994 Hilux ( last of the solid beam front ends ) this is a neat model, I enjoy your builds. ( I have built your fj40 and fj45 as close to what I think you did.)
  12. I am always amazed Mr Efferman how fast you can go from version 1.0 to 3.0 and the design improvements its hard to keep up with LDD. I do have to confess I love the look of version 1.0 with the open frames and the steering system as it gives a fully closed over deck but the part count compared to version 3.0 is a lot higher.
  13. First off what scale are you building in as there is a lot of setups that work well without using Springs
  14. Its not till you have a look at your flickr account and see the guts of your zetros and then you can certainly appreciate the amount of detail behind the lego
  15. there are some interesting ideas, for the frame construction and axles.. Just having a play with LDD you could try something like this for your rear axle puts the suspension inside your frame rails and also raises your ground clearance and reinforces the rear drive system.
  16. voted , and refresh gives the results? well I think I works? mind you Im good at breaking stuff too..
  17. Simply beautiful, do you have any wip photos? ( and the underside photo ) of this masterpiece. The level of detail is beyond, the rubber bands on the fuel tanks, the curved beam is just something else.
  18. You do not have diffs in your axle hence it will crab steer with such a huge turning radius
  19. Simply gorgeous what a rotator truck should be and one of the best parts it looks to be user friendly to play with well done
  20. Can't wait to build this very clever design I always learn new tricks and tips from your models
  21. Brilliant job on the instructions your going to send me broke buying the wheels
  22. Android on samung can vote but not working sorry Jim
