Hello! Here is my Classic Bicycle MOC with 1853 pieces and inspired by my mom’s bike from my childhood. My favourite parts usages are the 11x11 Curved Gear Racks used for the wheels, (24121) the newer curved bars for the insects, flowers, and grapes (4042), and Technic transmission rings (35186) used on the handle bars. Knight shields and seaweed used in the flower bouquet (also space guns in green if you can see them!) I’ve gotten many compliments on the bumblebee, but less about how the curved bar he’s attached to is singlehandedly holding the back wheel together. The picnic basket was designed entirely around the orange slice found in the Christmas Wreath set (10340). This project is also available on Lego Ideas to support! https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/a2b10573-547d-4a51-9eff-c537ca82697f I hope to update this topic soon with a physically built model, unfortunately I can’t afford to buy all the pieces through bricklink and PAB still isn’t fully functional in Canada. Any feedback is very much appreciated! :)

Super cool!! The motion is surprisingly smooth. Are you going to decorate the box more?

Honestly might pick up all of the space sets, they're filling a long standing mars-mission shaped void in my heart..

Cannot stop looking at those diamonds in the walls, as well as the star in the floor. Not only is the shaping perfect, but the muted colours all work with each other so well. Are these pieces all just held in by pressure or do they all have attachment points?

Happy Boxing Day everyone! I finally decided to build one of my favourite animal characters! I also wanted to challenge myself by building something organic (I typically stick to more industrial and spaceship based designs) so I'm very happy with how I managed to avoid the uncanny valley with Clifford. I'm very proud of the shaping used to create Clifford's head, which would've been impossible if not for the introduction of the new 3386 1x1 SNOT brick. I also wanted to give Elizabeth the possibility to stand on Clifford back, so I included a 1x3 jumper plate that can be swapped out with a normal 1x3 tile. G Getting Clifford's torso shape down took three months and resulted in over 10 different versions being created (most of those versions either looked like a cylinder train car or a blimp). It was extremely difficult to make him look both cartoonish but also realistic to the Giant Vizsla breed that he is based off of. I'm also very proud of how his paws came out, which are constructed around a single 4595 piece. Clifford is also fully posable, which took many attempts to make his hind legs movable and flush with the rest of his body. The original idea was to create a dollhouse that could open up (very much akin to 10228 Monster Fighters House), but I didn't find that necessary as the inside of the doghouse wasn't interesting enough to justify a full interior. I'm extremely proud of the walls on the inside of the house. The wall is split up into several modular components which all have clips on the bottom and top, which are all slid into place next to each other on flexible hoses in the top and bottom of the doghouse. I wanted to also throw in some interesting piece usages, so I decided to make the shrubs out of hair pieces (part number 20595). They're all either arranged with Tow Ball joints or 1L mechanical claws. Clifford also represents me trying out Lego Ideas for the first time, so if anyone is interested in supporting him by clicking the link in my signature I would appreciate it. Thank you for checking Clifford out, I'm already planning out my next animal based build so I would love some feedback on him.

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
someguy827 replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm just hoping that the leaks were an early prototype version of the set, the village felt very shallow to me. Felt like an up-sized Kingdoms set and not a proper full sized Icons set like the Lion Knights Castle. -
I'd love to see how you integrated brackets into the build to make those 3 rows of cheese slopes all flush with each other, I'm assuming part 2436b?
-
Looks very Metal Gear Solid inspired. Love the shaping and details.
-
Looks amazing! Any guesses as to piece count?
-
I love the shaping on the front! Also congrats on fitting in such a large engine given the scale you were working with.
-
I love how the boar is integrated with the rest of the ship and how the bib on the boar matches the flags!

Thank you so much! I'm also very proud of the 3x3 heart piece used for Clifford's mouth and the new 1762 slope piece for his nose. -

I designed a model of Clifford The Big Red Dog! It was an amazing challenge to ensure that Clifford looked proportional to not only the the show, but also the Giant Vizsla dog breed which he's based off of. I would appreciate any amount of support or feedback! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/5d9f5ac4-b64c-4779-aa6c-563e4c0d87ac -

Does anyone know if Dobby's fingers are a new piece? I can't seem to figure out if I've seen them used before. -

This isn’t the first time I’ve asked about when a set will be leaked only for it to happen the very next day 😂 As for the set, for now I’m getting more Gardens vibes than Docks vibes, so I think it will be more of a set for me to admire than to actually buy. Still very much looking towards official images, as the set does look like an entire city to me at first glance and I’m interested to see how the cable car works. -

I’m just excited for the markets! Hoping that it’s more classical and realistic like the docks than the futuristic-neon mix that the gardens were. Since we’ve already gotten minifigure leaks, when should we expect to see images? -
I was hoping for waterfalls and such, but I really really like it! Also feels like it could just be a great set for people who are into mediaeval sets.

Very curious to see how much the set names align with the “Titan” leaks that we got earlier in the year, I’d be surprised if they didn’t. -
The only thing that gives me hope for minifigure scale is the Hogwarts set coming in at 6020 pieces at $580 CAD, while this set comes in at 6167 pieces at $680 CAD. I’m just praying that theres’ 20 minifigures in that extra $100..

Hi everyone new here and new to the Lord Of The Rings, I’m just very excited for the Rivendale set coming out. I personally don’t think that we need to worry that it’ll be a Black Panther bust situation, I‘m hoping that it’s not a 75955 Hogwarts Express situation, which to me was the most disappointing set of the whole year for me. Completely oversized and focusing on the wrong aspects of the set in my opinion. I’m hoping that they make Riveldale minifigure scale, and make it a cross between the Lion Knights Castle (in terms of scale) and the Council of Elrond set, and that they don’t make it another microscale set like the Hogwarts Castle. I’ve heard that it will be minifigure scale based on the fact that it comes with minifigures, which doesn’t make sense to me as the Hogwarts Castle had minifigures on display. Just wondering if someone who knows more than me could clear this up for me if anyone knows. Thank you!

Hello, I'd like to replicate what was shown in this video; import a 3D model and be able to replicate it with Lego pieces. (but not have it turn into bricks like stud.io) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCit6pOXLB4 However, I'm just wondering if this feature is available in any other Lego Building programs besides LDD. Thank you!

The Mickey and Minnie set is actually my favourite set of last year. I think it’s incredibly well put together and so strange that I fell in love with it. If lego wants to do something like that with Harry and Hermione, then I’m all for it. Hopefully it won’t look funky like some of the other brick built figures we’ve gotten, especially since these will be the first ever human brick built figures ever. (Not counting the Star Wars busts from a while ago) If they make them a lil bit brickheadz-like, I think they could put the rumoured 1600 pieces to work.

LEGO Ninjago 2021

This whole wave is giving me a full dose of Atlantis/agents vibes! I love the hydro bot, although I find the aircraft hull piece a bit large and out of place given the size of the bot. The cole car is easily the weakest set to me, honestly looks like a junior set to me. The water dragon set is meh, but the temple set is the most playset-y playset ever and I love it! The bounty looks totally different than what I was expecting, but still great. I also love how they went with a totally different colour to keep things fresh on top of the underwater setting. It initially reminded me of 60266 the first time I saw it. I love the ninja suits, and the underwater guns remind me of agents, with the circular (staffs?) reminding me of Atlantis. A great nostalgic and also well designed wave.
