Wow! I can tell you know a thing or two about chemistry... All that lab equipment looks spot on! Love the Curie-ous kids in the window. I'll see myself out now. MAC

Daleks find the/a Doctor
iammac replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
@Captain Braunsfeld Plot twist: they're Dalek Nazis! No really, this is the first time I've seen Daleks and Indy together. Keep it up! MAC- 10 replies

I always like to see a MOC that looks like it could be a set. This one gets my thumbs up even though I don’t care for Elves. Huzzah. MAC

Looks like quite a challenge. Admirable. How long did it take to build? MAC

@prepmaster I'm certain you must know about Bricklink. Here are the current listings for the set you're interested in. MAC

@Itaria No Shintaku Can you please fix the link? I want to see some "greencoats!" MAC

Breathtaking. Is it based off a specific fort? MAC

Delightful! This is the first I've seen of your city, and I like the looks of it! It has a nice "carnival fever" feel. Keep it up! MAC

I like how you balanced the colors. Real buildings are rarely blue, red, green etc. It's the color that comes from the windows that saves this realistic scheme from just looking monotone. Great job! MAC

Looks so friendly! And that's just about the worst part of any laundromat experience: that talkative Weird Guy. Looks like they put him out on the curb here. Great job. MAC

Nice architecture. About how many parts do you think? MAC

How pretty! I hadn't ever thought about putting round plates on the top of those flower plates. MAC

Daleks find the/a Doctor

Great MOC (including the dialogue exchange!) Now I'd like to see the Doctor wind up with Nazis on his tail (but I guess that doesn't sound out of the ordinary, does it?) MAC- 10 replies

This collection is magnificent, albeit limited. You should definitely continue work on that album. MAC

Ooh! Those orange pants are just what I need! I'm not wearing any currently; that's why this picture is taken from the torso up. In all honesty, I can't stand the bright orange. I tried it out with my own torso and I agree that white/tan/dark tan look the best, with light bley being the next best. MAC

The bankers shouldn’t mind the Captain burying his treasure in the corner of the lobby. The tellers where I live are real respectable and polite... they always help me count my deposit with their hook hands. MAC

Congrats on this first MOC, it looks great so far! I guess the only thing I would recommend in the way of advice is to have a look through all the other great MOCs on this forum. I look forward to seeing how it turns out. MAC

I will be back in a few months to see how this project ends up. I wonder what kind of tree it is... Oh! Silly me, it's a Lego tree of course! MAC

Good looking WIP. Let us know when it's done! MAC

When you have two of them, it's a little more gentle on the eye. Mi gusta! MAC

I think this topic is fascinating, but entirely out of my league. The only thing I can think of that may make this build, well, buildable, is by using a kind of tongue and groove to make the 45 degree section mesh up with the aligned freeway. I'll stay out of it, but if you have any questions on the math, I wouldn't mind taking another look. MAC

Aside from the fact that this has the Simpsons in it (which fills me with rage,) I am actually cracked up by the pun! And its gaudiness in line with the modulars really gives it some character. These are those people that own a pizza store that's sitting right where City Hall wants to build a parking lot, and they're just not going to budge. Sounds like a film. Hm. You've given me an idea... MAC

I've thought about doing something like this for a while. I have the '08 and '11 police stations, but I can't decide which one I like least (and therefore, which one to scrap!) But I like what you've done with yours! Keep it up! MAC

Although it's a beautiful building, I'm pretty sure you have to wear uni-lens sunglasses and know at least one wobbly-tube-arm-lightbulb-headed-robotmen to go on in. MAC
