All are impressive, but I especially like the looks of the Spanish galleon. I'm always floored how those brick built hulls are made. :# Thanks for the finds... got any more? MAC

[MOC] Unique modular building with treasure quest

This has a significant level of detail. I'm surprised it hasn't generated more traffic.. I love those ring boxes, so clever! Well done! MAC -
I'm happy to see a small "playable" set from time to time. This one is very festive. MAC

I'm surprised that's 6 wide... seems a little thicker but it must just be an illusion. I guess I can't believe the detail you've got on this. Well done! MAC

I was about to spew hate on the cursed interface with the toddler kingdom, but then I saw that car on the hauler. WUB. All kidding aside, this is really well done I must say. Keep it up! MAC

Now I know what to do with mine. :P You did a really tidy job on this one. MAC

I actually disagree for once. The rear end is SPOT ON. Don't mess with the rear lights and bumper/plate area. It was the most accurate depiction of this car I've seen yet. VERY good job. But does its gas tank have a habit of yielding in a collision? MAC

Soul-oblitteratingly strange....but I'm a fan. MAC

This is right on so many levels. What a bold and appropriate spin... with the right marketing, this could be a wildly popular theme, TV show, or even video game. Well done! MAC

Terrific attention to detail here. I like the smashed quarter where I take it a cannon ball was deflected? So much for ol' ironsides This ships is a great inspiration for those of us who cannot build 10,000 part ships (I'm looking at you, CGH ) MAC

This is an excellent resource and a great find. Great job GeoBrick! MAC

Maybe this is a stupid idea, but couldn't you buy a 30 gallon aquarium, then flip it on its head? Logic: 24"x24"x12" (maybe you'd want something bigger?) = 6912 in^3 6912 in^3 * 0.004329 gal/in^3 = 29.9 gal. If you bought a 30 gallon with the right dimensions, you could get away with a very cheap (<$100) solution. Most fish tanks have clear bottoms, so if you put it upside down over the ship, it just might look nice. Good luck! MAC

So.... are you looking for any names? Because I think the Claudia suits her well. MAC

You aren't allowed to appeal to more than one group of AFOLs "My lord, is that, legal?" No really, looks great and I'm sure it will make a splash. Oh wait! Maybe not! MAC

I'm a major fan of the SNOT connected curves to serve as the root of the tumblehome. I've wanted to use those 2x2x3 slopes for some time, but you've pulled it off nicely here. Great job! MAC

Hello all, I was over at Brickset reading a review for an unreleased set, and the author, iso3200, expressed the need for some action on our part. No pun intended, it's a new part that we need to name. So new, it's not yet in the Bricklink inventory. Here it is: It's those dark bluish grey ones, which are currently being called "2x2 tile modified with 1x2 vertical bracket." I know, I know, what a mouthful. So here's my suggestion. To further slanguage the AFOL community and save us all on jaw-massages, why don't we just call these pieces JUMPER BRACKETS! So iso3200, if you're reading this, maybe the Eurobricks community can help you out with naming this pretty unique (and useful looking) piece. MAC Post Script: I swear on my AFOL honor that I have no interest in the Minecraft line. So don't come after me in droves.

MOC: Le Fleuron, 1729 third rate French ship of the line.

That's the thing about CGH. He only need to build one ship a year and we'll happily spend the wait time hitting Ctrl and + until he makes another.- 53 replies

I think I remember seeing one of your previous versions some time ago... I think it was the ingenious use of minifigure legs to get the right tumblehome that caught my eye (am I using that term correctly?) Anyways, I'm glad you finally put this one to bed. Now for gawking. She's beautiful! The greebling alone must have added an additional 10k pieces, but boy was it worth it! You really ought to be proud of yourself. We all know what kind of social activities you missed out on to bring us this stunning MOC. I must ask, why did you avoid the color black? The present color scheme lends to the haunting feeling of dread when you glance over the taffrail and see something in the fog behind you. So why did you avoid black? Also, I did look up the Davy Jones. Yikes! It might as well have been a Kashyyyk scout trooper before the newer runs came out. $40.00 for one who's "missing crab hand?" Also, tell your sister the photo editing was pretty good. If she keeps working on her photoshopping skills, maybe she'll land a job working on POTC 6. Great MOC, was well worth the click. Look forward to your next project. MAC

[MOC] HMS Effortless 118-gun first rate ship of the line like victory
iammac replied to Buccaneero's topic in Pirate MOCs
Such a remarkable difference between the designs! It's breathtaking. I also am a major fan of play-ability over historical perfection, so the fact that the sides hinge out really excites me. I hope you're planning on finishing this one. Astounding. MAC- 38 replies

I agree. This is actually quite elegant looking. Great work! MAC
