  1. It's been a while, I've probably forgotten how to play. Take it easy on me and I won't send the FBI to your house.
  2. Could really use a new PC this year, or maybe a hat and some cypresses. Or some LDD building skills. Thanks for another fun raffle, Mike!
  3. Never use capital letters in URLs. Long story short, Windows servers ignore them, Linux servers don't. IPB, regardless of the server you're on, doesn't expect it and tries to force a change. If Brickshelf was smart, they would be forcing everything to lowercase like the vast majority of the net, but clearly they aren't, so you just have to do it yourself.
  4. We have a simple and longstanding policy, we don't delete accounts or posts. As for the rest, it sounds more like you're trying to create a gap between what you are calling real and internet life. A bit of advice in that area, people try to think that they are different but they aren't, and as time passes, the two become more intermingled into just life. Embrace it or run from it, that is your choice, but in the end, never be ashamed of all of the parts of your life, they make you who you are.
  5. Just hope this guy doesn't show up.
  6. Do not post in a game day again, please make your comments here where it's appropriate.
  7. Just bear in mind that it's not controlled by us at all, which is why I've never joined.
  8. A big pink rock, now.
  9. I never remember to keep up with these ... Christmas Elf [ Probably from CopMike, the best Christmas Elf of all. ] Awesome, brilliant, not redundant. [ I can't imagine that requires any explanation at all. ]
  10. I'm thankful I'm not that guy! Nice job!
  11. My Fabuland sigfig, relaxing in the tree, by a tree, sipping hot chocolate and snacking on a pretzel. Thanks to CopMike for hosting yet another amazing Christmas raffle!
  12. At one time I was associated with security at eBay and can recall horror stories involving VeRO. I can tell you, without a doubt, someone reported a listing to TLG, who then notified eBay of the 'violation.' VeRO policy is a lot like what happens on Youtube, it's basically guilty with no interest in being proven innocent, it's not worth the time or effort to them to debate or judge whether a claim is valid, they just pull the item and move on. Repeated problems can lead to a ban, so it's somewhat frustrating given the fact that your listing may be no different from 1000 others, except someone turned it in. Contacting LEGO Juris A/S may help, if you can make them understand the nature of your product and stop reporting you. You're basically at their mercy, so tread lightly, try to understand their position and hope for the best. TLG is VERY protective of their products, much more than I've seen from other companies, so it may be a difficult process, at best. Good luck.
  13. The staff of Eurobricks gives it's time freely and generously for the purpose of providing our members an enjoyable site. That said, keeping topics on course and not allowing them to lose their purpose is a major part of that. We have nothing against fun, but we expect our members to have the maturity to know when and where "fun" posts belong. If your idea of "fun" is going off topic and disrupting the conversation, you would be better suited posting somewhere else. Further, if anyone has a problem with this or another matter involving a member of staff, feel free to contact me via PM, where matters of this type belong. If you have a problem with a member, please use the report system. And now you can try this little attitude problem on me. In the chamber. This topic is locked.
  14. Congrats, Scumbags, you earned this one. No need to apologize, at the point that I died, I never had a chance to learn anything that could help the town. I didn't see what we did as arguing, I just thought we were both being cautious, you because you couldn't be sure of me, and me because I couldn't be sure how many people you would end up talking to and where that information would go. You were in the unfortunate position of potentially becoming Jesus and leading the town to it's ruin. I can't imagine it was. I told you that story because I had a feeling I'd be metagamed before I ever got to use my role and figured that given the difficulty of your role, you'd end up allied with at least one scum and the story would get back to them, giving them one more thing to worry about.
  15. Finding love can be rough, especially when you can't speak. Will the mime find the girl of his dreams? Watch this great film from Walter to find out! Like what you see? Wish you could do that yourself? Want to be the next great LEGO video star? You can! Learn how to create your own films in the Brick Flick & Comics Academy and you could be well on your way!.
  16. Someone has wiener stand envy.
  17. I bought them in piles as they came to the end of their production lives and were being clearanced in most stores. Sadly, they didn't sell well at full price, despite being a bargain by today's standards.
  18. The Imperial Palace of Shadows by Shadows Lord Dragonator's Glorious Mansion of Doom by Dragonator Shrine of the Blessed by Etzel Temple of Ennoc by Fianat
  19. You silly kids and your babbling, I don't know how anyone follows all of it, but it's fairly easy to see who is leading you around by the nose and what harm you're allowing it to do to the town. I'm probably dead, but at least a couple of you had the decency to help save me from attacks for the last two nights, and to both of you, I give my heartfelt appreciation, maybe in death I'll be able to help the town where I didn't know how to while alive. I know that one of you has a very publicly known ability, but I don't think the other is so obvious, so I won't name you and hope you can keep up the good fight. Might as well have a last drink, though, if I'm still alive. I'll drink this lovely potion. It tastes like cherries picked from the trees of my homeland, wherever the hell that is (I still don't understand this game adventure, but it's been fun, when I could keep up. ).
  20. We'll get around to banning you, just get in the queue and wait your turn like everyone else. And when we do, we won't discuss it because that's our policy.
  21. They don't care about defense, they're in the business of jumping to conclusions and killing heroes. Doing a damn fine job of it, so far. Then again, isn't that what the scum do in these situations, mislead the loyal and get them to do their dirty work? That said, I don't even have a diamond, so the gang is wrong again. Or, in the words of GLaDOS: http://p1.portal2sounds.com/sound.php?id=36&stream
  22. My pleasure! I'll be fascinated to see how this all works out.
  23. I've had "25 new messages" appear while posting. I threw my hands in the air and quit reading. Honestly, love the roleplay, but so much chatter seems to discourage the purpose of the game, most people can't or won't try to keep up with that. Or it's just me, but I'm the most important me I know! Suddenly I understand how some of you have so many posts, even more than me in much less time. Heroica: Now with 182% more post count leveling.
  24. I don't really have any way to defend against sounding like a townie because I am one. As for sounding rehearsed, maybe that's because this is the 500th time* I've been in a situation like this and there's nothing new to say. * 500th time may be a slight exaggeration, but not much.
  25. We're never going to get a majority this way. I don't feel particularly strong about either of the top votes, but splitting things further isn't going to help. For now, I'm going to support one of the votes that actually has a chance of succeeding, since a failed vote won't tell us anything. Vote: The Great Byron (Bob) I decided on Byron because I think that the people who are already voting for him make the most general sense and I agree with Dexter when he mentions the sudden push for Rolfe, almost as if someone supporting Byron is trying to split the vote to save him.
