  1. Let them finish team dark with Omega, then do team Rose with Cream and Big. Team Chaotix is less likely but who knows.
  2. I understood that reference The number was from a leak on Instagram. I think only 1 DC set would be unlucky not lucky! But I suppose it is possible they'll all be marvel, we didn't get any January sets last year or this year. Only one wave for the whole year Really but I can hope for better.
  3. Gwenom maybe? They love Venomised variants but a Venomised ghost-spider has precedent, and could be pretty rad as a minifig.
  4. The Dragonian storm village is the only set name that catches eye. I prefer the idea that the Idea that the Forbidden Five are a mixed bunch, not just evil keepers. Also we don't know that Dragonians will be evil, right? Could be munce/Geckle situation. Seeing what the villains look like is always exciting because TBH the ninja themselves are pretty much the same from wave to wave, the Villains are where we get variety .
  5. 11 superheroes sets in January. Unfortunately at least one of those will be marvel. And I don't mean Billy Batson, I mean the niche DC copycat company. ( I kid I do like both Marvel and DC, though my preference is here in DC)
  6. I am the sort of weirdo that owns the Young Jedi adventures sets. And the titular younglings do have their capes in those 4+ sets. In my defence (A) I am an eternal optimist and (B) I did misremember the set as being $50. Plo would be a nice choice for another fig in the Ahsoka set. I know he wasn't there but TLG often ignores that sorta thing for fig inclusions and he's a less common figure than say Anakin but still has that connection to Ahsoka.
  7. Very nice, it's somewhat burlesque and sinister but not in an over the top edgy way that doesn't fit Lego.
  8. Sorry if I came off as harsh, I was just trying to point out that not animal/whatever sidekicks as accessories was more of Disney thing than a TLG thing. I get what you're saying about the Lego movie, I personally do consider it licensed since the license kinda is Lego itself anyway I can understand seeing it as unlicensed.
  9. No, there are no pictures in this thread. I thought you meant the pictures on rebrickable weren't showing up for you, my mistake.
  10. I can see them?
  11. Ah, well I had misremembered it being at higher price point (which would suggest more figures), but I wouldn't be surprised if they threw someone like Greef in there to give it an additional selling point for fig collectors. I mean Grogu and Mando are incredibly common nowadays so I think someone more unique might also be included just to tempt those who otherwise wouldn't get it.
  12. Well, maybe, maybe you will win! But nobody wins for long. The wheel just keeps turning. So, come on. Break the cycle.
  13. I'm not trying to wishlist, but thinking about what figs to expect the sets I'd guess Arc-170: 2-3 clone pilots, an astromech & a random jedi ( hopefully one I don't already own ) Ahsoka's Interceptor: Ahsoka (S3-S5 outfit), R7, hopefully someone else as well The Grogu : Grogu Acclimator : Nobody ( which is one of the top ten Mitski songs IMO) Home one : Nobody (again) 4+ Naboo Starfighter, if Naboo royal guard version: Anakin, Padmé, Artoo, Jar-Jar, B1s or destroyer droids. 4+ Naboo Starfighter if it's Din's Hot rodded version: Din Djarin, Grogu, Greef, Peli, R5-D4
  14. Winning? Is that what you think it's about? I'm not trying to win. I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because, because I want to blame someone. It's not because it's fun and God knows it's not because it's easy. It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do, because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind. It's just that. Just kind. If I run away today, good people will die. If I stand and fight, some of them might live. Maybe not many, maybe not for long. Hey, you know, maybe there's no point in any of this at all, but it's the best I can do, so I'm going to do it. And I will stand here doing it till it kills me. You're going to die too, some day. How will that be? Have you thought about it? What would you die for? Who I am is where I stand. Where I stand, is where I fall. Stand with me. These people are terrified. Maybe we can help, a little. Why not, just at the end, just be kind?
  15. Jonkler is neo-malapropism, the word being replaced is Joker, so to Jonkle is to joke. It originates from the subreddit for the Batman Arkham Asylum videogames. I'm trying to avoid using the Arkham malapropisms as I know they frustrate certain members of the community.
  16. That really does look much better.
  17. Now that 2025 leaks are starting I'll give my hopes for the year Sets (general) - Accolyte sets Sets specific - Imperial Laat/le, Jedi Vector, a Chopper in scale with the Malak Artoo, an imperial BP (but not just stormtroopers I want new unmade imperial troops like army troopers, purge troopers, incinerator stormtroopers, etc), Night trooper BP, the Poland, New Tie defender, Imperial juggernaut Minifigs- More Padmé figs, more alien jedi, Agent Kallus ( unlikely I know but if CW can so many new sets can rebels and bad batch have some love) Hero Crosshair, an actual Enoch ( though he might have to wait for Ahsoka season 2 or the movie), Qimir, Sol, Jecki, Yord, the twins, Vern ( even though the Accolyte ( which I otherwise like) messed her up), Bly, Howser, Yaddle, new Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Biggest hope - MBS Jedi temple Never gonna happen hopes - Malachor Sith Temple set, High republic book characters as minifigs, Marchion Ro Helmet, Merrin, Greez, the Stinger mantis in yellow, Durge, Dagan Gera,
  18. Both Lego movie CMFs gave a named cat as as accessories to scratching post lady. The letter one also included a named dinosaur and Toto the dog from the Wizard of Oz. The Harry potter trio also all had Thier named pets in the first HP Cmf, Baby Harry and the named phoenix are hp Cmf S2. And more recently than any of those but the marvel CMF series one also had Thor as a frog and Loki Gator as accessories.
  19. I'll guess 15 ( 6 magazine gifts, 2 polybags, 1 D2C , 3 Superman sets, 3 Batman sets) maybe a CMF? Yes Yeah but not a massive one I fear not, maybe a small batcave but or a juniors asylum. No, Gunn is far more competent boss for DC movies than Synder and if the movies do well sets will surely follow ( I think we'll get another DC CMF within 6 years but probably not next year) No it will not. But it won't make a Morbillion dollars. Yes, Saint Walker, Terry McGinnis and Zatanna. Not an 18+ star wars style one but maybe one like marvel has had recently. Absolutely false. They might not love it as much as more profitable themes like star wars. They make what they think will sell but I think some at Lego definitely prefer DC to marvel despite what products come out. I can only hope not. TLBM Killer Croc was cool but in general the bigfig concept needs reworking. (26.24387988668643356267221222112225784898968544333378848488008232666778842777696969800813256466678769% likehood)
  20. No way they're giving us five hundred and one minifigs in a $70 set.
  21. Rex current only comes as a minifigure in the ginormous UCS Venator class star destroyer or in a £12 mircofighter. For good recent sets I would say - the Ghost - the croissant guard gunship - the Clan Kryze v Gideon's super commandos Mandalorian Battlepack - the Artoo set ( it is slightly smaller but imo it makes the UCS seem obsolete in comparison) - the Mini AT-TE - the holiday special set - the Gideon Bunker battle - the CIS v Republic Battlepack - this one I haven't gotten yet but it looks good and I plan to. - the T-6 jedi shuttle
  22. Do we know that the helmet line is completely over or just that we didn't get any last year. It'd be a shame if it was over. There's a tonne of untapped potential there: Grevious, Bo Katan, The Crimson Corsair, the stranger, Tech, Sabine, Darth Revan, Wrecker, Echo, the Armourer, Marchion Ro (unlikely but it'd be epic), imperial royal guards, Clone commandos, Enfys Nest, Crosshair, Darth Bane, Hunter, Gar Saxon (Maul-dalorian), Durge. Also not to nitpick but technically they never made a helmet for the prequel movies ( unless you count Vader) as both clones were CW ( still prequel era so I guess it counts) TBH the Boushh helmet was a pretty lame choice, even just in OT there were better options. I mean the price and part count for set 75405 could work for a helmet.
  23. It'd be nice if the 4+ set was YJA again, it would be funny if they made a 4+ vector before a standard system one. So as per Foggy 75401: $44.99, 290 pcs - Jedi Starfighter ( Ahsoka's Interceptor ) 75402: $69.99, 497 pcs - ARC 170 75403: $99.99, 1048 pcs - Unknown 75404 (18+): $49.99, 450 pcs - Unknown 75405 (18+): $69.99, 559 pcs -Unkown 75410 (4+): $29.99, 92 pcs - Unknown
  24. It's a shame we've never really seen other agents in same gear Kallus uses especially on screen, the Helmet particularly. They were planned for the cancelled Project ragtag game and I though some of the blurry figs from the solo tie leak were ISB Agents but it was not to be. Nah, never made agent, he quit the program when heard about jetpacks and inquisitor helicopter sabers.
  25. Hey, that's cool. I'm an extra (SA) too but I've only done TV so far. Nightwing sorta felt like a given for it, since it was said be a batfam film but Cass is a yass. Static will be good be see, I don't especially care about Vixen TBH. Batman is only realistic sometimes. I thought you'd already concluded that (despite supes flying (like a bee)) you thought you should give it a try.
