So ( here and Germany at least) Sabine will be in the magazine just as the Peridea set hits shelves. That's a nice bit of synergy. -

The original leak suggesting A clone trooper/Mon Calamari was from Max Bautde of promo bricks who other than this year's few fumbles ( death star V star destroyer, Enoch v night trooper & exceterra) is pretty reliable. -
Yes, and I'm one of them ( well digital builders not comic) Mandalorian Knight's wishlist waves might scratch that itch for you. (I was also inspired to do one of my own) I've also put some non-Star wars stuff on here.

[MOC] 9 alternatives from 75379 R2-D2 Malak set - and counting
Agent Kallus replied to zsoltom's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks, I'm afraid there are no instructions as I will need to modify it slightly in order for it to built IRL ( this is because LDD offers no useful up to date colour checking so for the 'wishlist mocs' I decided to ignore colour matching entire. I do plan on building some of them IRL ( starting with the trident class assault ship) but it will be a lengthy process as I need to check each part's available colours on Brickset and then recolour or replace the part accordingly.) The trident class assault ship I intend to turn into the imperial version from JFO 2 as parts in grey are both more abundant and cheaper than in earth orange. For the MTT the only part that I know (off the top of my head ) will need replacement is the grey windscreen used for the bump at the top. -

He could quite easily show up in Andor S2 as Galen Erso again, but that probably won't get sets. -

Your definition of tank is alien to me. I would not have called any of those things a tank. Ahsoka the white, well actually light grey but nevermind -

I like the look of the Peridea set, and I won't complain about the price till I know what it's gonna be in £. The night trooper would've looked a lot better with green dots on the eyes of the helmet to simulate the night sister magic eyes that glow through the helmet after resurrection. I do hope that if we get a night trooper BP that it's not just 4 of this fig, since they aren't the most uniform looking group. Star wars might be the theme where the reliable leakers have got the most wrong this year, I mean I guess the broad strokes were mostly correct but still. All the Enoch speculation for nothing and none of Jabba's henchmen in the skiff set (Boba is above a henchman). Maybe we'll get a jabba's goons pack to compliment this set and the sail barge like the snow trooper BP after the AT-AT, but I doubt that. Weird that the Sarlacc is on top a mound when it should down a pit. For worst star wars set ever I looked a Brickset and ignoring pens and keychains and the like the set with lowest average reveiw scores was 11920: Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure Galactic Missions which was some part include with a book that make a vaguely mirocfighter-ish version of a cloud car. But personally I'd put Peridea decently high, mystic henge is more interesting than a grey slab IMO and even then the grey slab was overhated ( but also overpriced). Hard agree, Chewie does feel the most superfluous. This is why I think he was the worst anniversary figure, worse than Leia or Cal. The fig itself looks great but unlike the others there wasn't much stopping him appearing as a normal regularly release figure in any set based on the RotJ space battle or rebel fleet. ( Or even sequel trilogy sets not that we get many of those these days, I'm not the biggest sequel lover but I still think there's some untapped gold there) If people get 2 skiffs (I probably won't get even one unless I find a good discount or if I decide I really want the sail barge and it needs it's companion ( though even then I'd look in Smyth's or Amazon for a discount) we don't know it's UK price yet but expecting expensive) they might use the second Numb to have a rebel friend torso and a head for another Sullustan. If we hadn't already gotten it confirmed in the descriptions for the other rebuild the galaxy set I'd have guessed it was actually gonna be jedi Bob's vulture droid or something given the slight mistakes in the almost all the other set leaks. It also looked slightly different to me but I had a look side by side and I'm pretty sure it's just the same one after all. -
cut from the main sw forum to try and stay on target â„¢. If you enjoyed the first episode I really think you should watch the rest (I do think episode 3 (the flashback episode) works best either before the others or skipped entirely), you don't need to treat it as canon if you don't want to so I don't really see how it could ruin SW for you? (if you do decide to watch it don't look at the spoiler below this until you've seen it (or not it's your call) Also I agree about not liking how Vernestra acts I get it's been a long time, but unless she changes her tune soon it'll feel like a character assassination of the character I knew from the books. Although with you comment about high republic v prequel jedi I will say that despite the show still being in the HR era it is closer in time to episode 1 than the HR publishing initiative. Off-topic but I actually think superman sets in 2025 are decently likely.

People throwing out spoilers everywhere before I have a chance to watch something is a peeve of mine so it pretty stupid of me to do exactly that. I will try to be more careful in future. All those sound like pretty good options though talking about spoilers 2013 was a long time ago ago hermano, a lot has changed since then (including my purchasing power). I for one desire a new Ewok village, if it does indeed exist it might just be my first SW UCS/MBS set (because star wars is my most purchased theme I tend to prioritise other themes (like LotR of late) when getting bigger sets), but nonetheless I admit an Imperial bunker entrance would sweeten the deal either as it's own connected set (like the barge and the separate skiff this year) or as part of an Endor Ewok Village MBS. (Though I hope any potential tie-in battlepacks (ala the hoth snowtrooper one that partners well with the UCS at-at) includes Ewok and imperials over rebel endor commandos as there were a lot more Imps and Ewoks at Endor then rebels 9Ewoks especially as imperial troops could show up almost anywhere) I'm pretty sure he's standard yellow. -

Yes that's what I was saying. I mean with Lucas film's constantly changing schedule there could more than just Andor S2, or maybe Andor S2 will get pushed back. Bab batch sets as well would be nice. -
Yeah, will do! But don't get yours hopes up too high, it's more a collection of little bits of OA than one big grand thing (it's kinda similar to assault on Hoth), as that gave a better impression of a variety of things spread over a large area without being gigantic. I'll post it and the rest of wave hopefully somepoint soonish. I just need to finish up a black manta Sub and a few other things before I'm ready to share. You've made some down right questionable statements but this I can't help but agree with . It is an 18(or equivalent) most places, Australia seems to be the lowest it is rated anywhere. I know TV- MA is the American rating system's Adult TV rating but whenever I see it written down I just thing of the hillbilly from the Simpsons telling his mother something is a television. Like Mother: a demon has possessed that new fangled picture frame! Cletus: it's TV-MA Or Mother: What's them cityfolk's name for this weirdo footstool? Cletu: it's TV-MA Or Mother: I can't believe superman is dead! Clet: that was just TV-MA Or Mother: How'd you know that princes Diana is dead, have you been gossiping Cletus? Cle: I gone and saw it been talked about on the TV-MA I could go on til Cletus only has one letter left in his name but that'd just be beating a dead Venom horse. Also I don't think gossiping sounded right in the hillbilly voice in my head but I do not know enough about hillbilly stereotypes to pick a more relevant slang term.l

That MTT looks great, it reminds me of one I'd made digitally a while ago, but your's is made more impressive considering the self imposed handicap of only using parts from this one set. -

Do not Blaspheme!!! Do not Blaspheme!!! Lego have been making Legends ( or previously EU) sets at almost all points of the Lego Star wars theme, we are just seeing less ATM due to more onscreen content in need of coverage ( where's my Bad Batch outfit Crosshair Lego!!! ) and when there's more to cover each thing will get less and lower priority things (like legends sets) will get pushed to the bottom of the list. Also I actually agree with some of your about legends ( you're still a blasphemous sponge though, sorry), it is full of contradictions and with a few comparatively very minor exceptions canon has managed to not repeat this mistake. I personally just take each legends story as it's own thing and whilst some are crap most I've read ( or played or whatever ) are good stories on their own merit. Thre are those that treat star wars as a Canon V Legends dichotomy but I say ( in the immortal words of the road to El Dorado) Both? Both! Both are (is) good! -
Things can be multiple things, I agree that star wars is fantasy but 'not sci-fi' is a weird thing to call the world's biggest sci-fi brand. To quote Wikipedia 'Science fiction (sometimes shortened to sci-fi) is a genre of speculative fiction, which typically deals with imaginative and futuristic concepts such as advanced science and technology, space exploration, time travel, parallel universes, and extraterrestrial life. It is related to fantasy, horror, and superhero fiction and contains many subgenres. Its exact definition has long been disputed among authors, critics, scholars, and readers.' I never would. I can only concur. The trailer overall looks good but the movements really do look rather stilted at points. I'll be honest I'm just excited that they are giving green lanterns some proper respect unlike the half heart nods we got the Synder and the Arrowverse.

Purist custom Captain America shield: New Lola + this handle or this whole shield (pretend they never made him and that his shield looks like that.) I mean I can think of multiple ways she could be made relevant again and only one of them is her becoming part of the canon continuity. Examples include: 1- her inclusion in a new star wars game like a star wars dynasty warriors game called star wars star warriors that has a huge cast of expanded universe characters from books and comics ( both legends and canon) 2- an adaptation of any of the legends content featuring her ( though TBH the only story I've read with her in is the Thrawn Trilogy and I have long reading list to get through before I read any more star wars books that aren't High republic or Plagueis) 3- a version of her in a Canon story, 4- a 'Women of force' merchandise push, 5- her appearance in new non-canonical storytelling ( e.g visions, a Lego star wars special, detours ( okay detours is probably never gonna happen)), 6- something else ! 7 - a different something else, I could go on. Also the idea of the split was never to make all the legends stories forgotten, irrelevant and doomed to obscurity (Despite what some internet whiners might say). They wanted the freedom to tell new stories without having to work around and retcon the existing expanded universe ( something legends did to itself all the time). If they really wanted legends forgotten they wouldn't be reprinting books, remastering and rereleasing video games or creating entirely new audiobook adaptations of legends stories? Legends exists today as much as it did in it's heyday. And surely the fact that she's unlikely to be made otherwise makes her all the better a candidate for a special anniversary figure. A much better inclusion than say Nein Numb (who looks to be a great OT figure dint get me wrong) who as a character didn't really need the special anniversary treatment in order to be made. Dammit I'd already made a ( very much non-UCS) digital Moc OA set for a wishlist wave, now I have to sneak that in there ( or Mara Jade obviously) before I render it. Also (though I've just said I've got a pretty long reading list), I'll ask you as a clear clergyman of the church of Mara Jade ; do you have any book recommendations for stories featuring her? ( Other than the og Thrawn Trilogy of course ( which iirc you were one the people who recommended it to me in the first place)) I can only hope my above post can convince you of my sanity ( or my charade of it) Also Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!! Mara Jade!!! Yeah I think that would be the worst possible option, other options might not look much like Enoch but could still look cool, that would just look plain bad. Kinda unlikely as I haven't seen any myself but perhaps this Enoch minifig will be based on some earlier concept art where he had a less unique helmet? -

Do we think he might could with an alternative red arm? Though I guess some people wouldn't recognise him because of the red arm. It's not a set I'd get either way but I like it. It does show that aren't any hard rules for where they're putting the anniversary figs or for the anniversary figs in general. - Only in Original trilogy sets? Nope because of the sith infiltrator and droid factory. - Only in Skywalker saga* sets? No because the droid factory includes multiple droids not seen in any of the episodes 1-9 - Only in sets from story's that don't feature the anniversary character included? Nope because of Nein Numb in a RotJ set ( supposedly) - Only in sets that include other minifigs anyway? Nah look at the Artoo sets ( Astromech figures aren't minifigs and even if you count them none are rumoured for the droid factory ) - Only in green lantern sets? Nope none of the known or rumoured figs or sets involve any members of the green lantern corps or related material??!?!!! - Only in sets where the anniversary figure present doesn't make sense to be there? No because though in the game they stick to mostly terrestrial bases Cal infiltrating an ISD makes perfect sense. - Only including characters Lego was Unlikely to make otherwise? Nope! I can see them not planning any JFO/JS sets nor any RO, KotOR, Kenobi sets! But Clone wars and RotJ ! I mean Fives wasn't that likely to show up elsewhere as most of the clone wars sets they're making at the moment are more generic but Nein Numb could've been in any RotJ Starfighter or rebel set! (And while Fives is cool if I could've pick any CW character I'd have gone Talzin). - Only existing parts? Nope Malak's jaw is new. (As are some fabric part on the others but they don't really count) - Only individual Characters? Nope Young Leia ( thankfully) comes with Lola ( and yet Cal is missing BD-1 despite him being an existing part ) - All sets based on not-new materials will have one? Nah, we were a bit optimistic to think that anyway but it was a hope a little while back. - Only Sith? No all bar Malak aren't Sith! - Only actual minifigs? Nope KT is said to be coming as she's an astromech ( but there is still a lot of confusion about her figure and it's set, I hope she is still getting a figure and it wasn't a miscommunication of the droid factory set). *= The Skywalker Saga branding kinda annoys me as it relates Disneys best 2 star wars movies as being less important. -

I see a lot of knock-offs in ads from Temu and the like (ads I've had on Eurobricks even!), so I think it's more of a migration away from eBay than them just disappearing. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Agent Kallus replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, that's the problem with the themed series. If you're into it you're into it, if you're not you're not . Mixed series with more of a mix are more likely to have have something for everyone.
