LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Agent Kallus replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've heard it's mostly because when sets are revealed too early (by TLG's standards) it gives bootlegs a headstart on copying them. And they really don't want a knock-off beating the original official set to market. -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Agent Kallus replied to THELEGOBATMAN's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
If I was choosing the sets next year I think I'd give a potential titan mech to Sora. In terms of story it definitely suits her and she has a bit of a unique style that would set her mech apart from the ones done previously. As for Dragons I'd like a green one. Rontu will hopefully be made eventually too. But what I'd really want are more Villian sets, I know Lego has sales figures to back up hero sets selling better but the heroes are the same every wave, the villains are where we get variety. I'd guess the villains will be the forbidden five. It would also be nice for the next ninjago city set ( though no rush on that I haven't bought the last one yet) was crossroads inspired with it's diverse array of inhabitants and architecture. Where in a city set or elsewhere I'd like to see some of the new non-human characters in actual Lego : Mister Frohickey, Chef Grab-bag, Lobbo, Geo, Aarakore, Bonzle, Spitz, the green merlopian that I forget the name of, and yes a human but the sorceress Gandalaria. -

Bob's Starfighter has been mentioned in the description for the other sets so we know it exists ( I mean we were pretty sure but we've had a few confusions already this year so it doesn't hurt to be sure). Okay, you win. Whilst the sticker would be very lame, the print on a minifig head could actually be pretty incredible, not accurate to Enoch of course but it could have a lot of uses. Say combine it with a hood that hides the more sci-fi details and you have a pretty cool Assassin's creed style cultist. Or combine with the golden dragon helmet from this year's lunar new year set for a pretty rad warrior of some sort. -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
Agent Kallus replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I also think that is incredibly unlikely. But with sort of logic we could get Avatar the last airbender sets and then have them sneak Korra in Fortnite set ( of course I'd prefer a whole line up of TLoK sets with Team Avatar, the villains and the side characters but I know that unfortunately it's even more unlikely that AtlA sets ( unpopular opinion but as a fan of both shows I actually prefer Korra to Aang, Iroh is always number 1 though)). -
I have 1072 sets according to Brickset ( though I might have forgotten to log some of them) though a lot of them are quite small ( median part count of around 190ish) and that does include stuff like CMFs and magazine gifts. ( Though CMFS are the ones I forget to log most often). DC specifically I have 83, which consists of 26 DC comics sets, 9 TLBM sets, 3 Dimensions sets, 14 DC CMFs and 31 TLBM CMFS. My largest DC set is the 2013 arkham and my smallest is tied with the Shazam polybags and TLBM CMF Orca.

The Lego Korra in Fortnite didn't seem to mean anything, though you never know licensed characters could show up in the fortnote sets? -

If the star fighter is just red and white I have slight hope that the red is actually a the reddish orange shade, probably not but it would be cool. I think the range trooper helmet is indeed gone but it (and especially the FO Stormtrooper helmet) are less gone than the og stormtrooper helmet. As in they are still the current designs for those characters and thought it perhaps be counted by TLG as the cost of a new mold they'd probably resurrect them if need. So I doubt Enoch would use either mold as in that case he might as well have a new mold but they'd still potentially bring either of the other 2 back if the troopers were going to be remade. I can imagine worse choices, though a few of them fall into the so bad it's good category ( Minecraft head anyone?, Minecraft villager head anyone? ) -

Usually it's just nostrils though a while nose would be different and honestly I think a nosed Enoch helmet would be quite cursed. I mean I little bump on the helmet would be fine ( like batman has) but it's not a new part so a printed nose would look cursed. Ears are a different (and even more inconsistent) kettle of fish. A regular human face, even on a helmet should not have a nose in Lego. I Look at these faces and I say never again. No one else will ever have to live like this. No one else will ever have to feel this pain. Not on my watch.. ( Okay the flying Dutchman is obviously meant to be extra cartoony so it doesn't break they're more modern approach of ignoring standard human noses but he is so very cursed, he ignores so many conventions of minifig print design, look at his damn beard) As am I? I never suggested that they'd bring it back. I was just lameting how it would have been a better fit for this than it's replacement. -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

This looks great, I'll have try it when I build mine ( I already know where I'm gonna put it, I'll have the eye looking out through my window). My speculation would be a guess at either bag end or a larger Hobbiton with Bag end as the focal point. It's got the be most iconic location from the Trilogy (in book terms at least, in movie terms it's still up there but perhaps tied with Barad-Dûr itself). The real question is if they'd give us any Dwarves from the Hobbit. I'd guess either 1 - No characters from the Hobbit at all. 2 - Young Bilbo but no dwarves 3 - Young Bilbo and Thorin. 4 - young Bilbo and some or all of the big 5 ( Thorin, Balin, Dwalin, Fili and Kili) with perhaps Glion too just for his legacy. 5 - (unlikely) all the company ( I mean Gandalf is bound to come with it anyway) - if they do make a bag end without dwarves I hope we get a decent number of named Hobbits to make up for it! For example we could have: Old Gaffer Gamgee, farmer Maggot, Lobelia, Otho and Lotho Sackville Baggins, Rosie Cotton, Fatty Bolger, Estella Bolger, Folco Boffin, Ted Sandyman, Odo Proudfoot, Will Whitfoot, Paladin Took, Pearl Took, etc) -

Yeah see that's one problem with the newer Stormie helmet,it's much less versatile. I could see the OG one being used for TK troopers or Enoch, the new one really wouldn't work for either. I think our best option for Enoch is the new June imperial Mando helmet. But there are a few other options that would also be better than the 2019 Stormtrooper helmet. Also a very important point is that he should not have the nose printed on. The face on his helmet is like a human face and Lego human faces are noseless. -

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

IIRC it was a buildable figure of a winged Captain America (Sam). There might also have been a Red Hulk VS an aeroplane minifig set? -
We are uncovering new lore all the time on this thread! - Our Marketing genius - that Alfred Pennyworth is the most OP DC character. - That Feathers McGraw is Oswald Cobblepot’s true master! - Turtle's Backwards Msicar ( I'm too afraid to look at the Indiana Jones thread now) - that Batman is gonna be a green lantern in the next show??? - That Mandalorian Knight has only ever bought 1 DC set. - that Ambush bug will cause the hierarchy of power in the DC universe to change. - that Synder is bad at making DC movies ( Though most people that have seen his movie know this). - that people tire of the ' Man and Jonkler ' jokes ( It had gotten to be beating a dead Venom horse anyway TBH) - That next year's DC thread will be called ' Batman (DC Superheroes) 2024 (2025) - Rumors & Discussion *the Synder Cut* - That Easter Bunny batman is being crucified ( which considering the Easter theming is relevant). - That I am now incapable of typing (Venom) horse with out typing Venom in front of it. - That we all want a Doctor Who CMF next year ( okay not everyone said they did but I've chosen to ignore that entirely.) - That we all also want a DC CMF next Year, and a castle one and a normal one and that they shouldn't be afraid to having multiple CMFs at once. - that Angle man is a goat? 🐐 🐐 - That Angle man is the GoaT ( Greatest of all Time) - That Colonel Gumm really should've been in the Lego Batman Movie. He's zany, goofy and they could've made him have chewing gum for a head. - that when Americans say a movie is rated R it's an age rating thing not a quality rating thing ( the letter confused me at first okay). - the new juniors Batgirl torso print is imaginary?? I could go on.

It may say 2023 but this is the current Minecraft discussion forum. As for this year's sets I've bought the smallest one with the phantom and the camel. Well it's most of what this thread has been used for this past year. It's been revealed officially now even. -

Picked up the 501st specialist mag, it looks like the next UK issue is gonna be Vader ( as expected) in one of 2 different tins ( Vader Head shaped one or rectangular ( but with curved corners like the Ninjago legacy ones) with an embossed Vader. ). Personally I think I'll skip it as I have plenty of Vaders. My personal favourite being the Rebels one. -
