LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I have to hope this has been misreported and is a separate thing (like Videyo or Unikitty) and doesn't take the place of a proper CMF. -

Oh yeah, seeing the side by side it's definitely a different head. -
Cryle Rayner... Actually it's okay Kyle I'd cry if the food in my fridge was replaced with a very unapatitsing corpse. I'd rather not go the cannibalism route TBH, but I guess if that's all you've got in fridge ... then at least you won't go hungry . Absolute Riddler doesn't know the answer to his riddles and when Absolute batman gives him an answer he just makes up a reason why it works ( which is usually quite difficult). He also doesn't always use riddles but sometimes simple questions like 'If 2 +2 is 4 they I'll blow open the bank door, but if 3+8 is 7 then I'll rob the Tank museum in devon' luckily batman made it to the tank museum in time because with Absolute Superman's help he was able to realise that the Absolute Edward Nyma is terrible at maths. If I'm the brains for absolute batman dies that make me absolute Alfred or absolute Oracle? I was under the impression that absolute batman got most of his advice from a magic 8 ball. Wasn't the Tar man (monster) from Scooby Doo. Is Shaggy joining the Absolute league? On the topic of Mara Jade, I have just a quick reminder for @BrickBob Studpants ' Do not Blaspheme! Do not Blaspheme! Please do not Blaspheme Do not be the Blasphemer. Pretty please with cherries on top do not Blaspheme! Do not be a Blasphemer! Do not Blaspheme Do not Blasphemed do not Blaspheme Do not Blaspheme! Do not Blaspheme. Do not Blaspheme? Do not Blaspheme. Do not Blaspheme. Do Blaspheme,Maybe Blaspheme, Do not Blaspheme. Scooby Dooby doo not Blaspheme! Do not Blaspheme Do not Blaspheme Do not Blaspheme! Do not Blaspheme Do not Blaspheme! Do not Blaspheme' I've finally seen the Wednesday sets. I think the gothic architecture of the balcony and gate could useful parts for Gotham/Wayne Manor mocs. Though I quite liked the wednesday show so I might get them anyway... I'd have preferred minifigs though....

I can only agree. Bigfig are stuck in a stupid squat, are less posable and have interchangeable parts than minfigs. It wouldn't should the size issue but technic figures could replace big figs. Even the Eggman style 'midfigs' as you've called them would be a significant improvement. -
Exhibit A) (Unrelated note but I think Daredevil from She-Hulk or friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is more likely than from X-Men, and Daredevils show may be inappropriate for kids but unlike punisher the character in general isn't so I hope we do see some more versions after the Bugle one, unlike Punisher who I don't care about getting other versions of ( he's my least favourite marvel character)). Exhibit B Exhibit C I am going to suggest that one of these things has already begun. A Marvel character has infiltrated this thread. Jake Lockley AKA Mandalorian Knight. Now I will admit that I've never actually read a moon knight comic ( the only marvel stuff I've read is either FF, X-Men, Spider-Man(or related characters) or Avengers) but in the show his two other personalities have M-something Knight alter egos. Moon Knight for Mark and Mister Knight for Stephen so maybe Jake's is Mandalorian Knight. Of course @Mandalorianknight doesn't even know that he is moon knight but it explains the blackouts and the Arthur Harrow fight. The Mara Jades is his subconscious influence on the other personalities. Edit- WTF? I should've been more careful about doxxing someone. Sorry. @jakeLockley

Would The Addams Family count? The Wednesday show is getting sets this year ( mini dolls which isn't my preference but eh). And I wouldn't be surprised if they follow that up with a big Addams family house set in 2025? We've seen similar things before and Lego seems to targeting adult sets at 80s and 90s kids ( as a 2000s(technically 1999) kid I guess I need to wait ten years) which lines up with the popular Addams family films. -
Oh no I dunno that being canon makes him more likely. TLG have made more legends inspired sets post the legendsification of legends than they have sets based on comic or book characters. Rae Sloane and Vi Morado are the only 2 that come to mind compared to several legends inspired sets; namely The Azure Angel, Darth Revan, the sandspeeder, the battle pack with the shadow guards and so on. Of course this doesn't actually help Mara Jade as she is both a book character and a legends character. But generally I think TLG are more likely to made characters with on-screen appearances than book and comic characters and that that is a greater factor than Legends continuity V Canon continuity.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Nueva is Spanish for new, and York is a lovely little city, certainly my favourite in the north of England, probably on of my top 5 in the whole UK. The first human settlements in the Yorkshire area can be traced back to somepoint between 8000 and 7000bc. At the time records began the area was under the control of a celtic tribe known as the Brigantes, but after they became hostile to Rome the Romans took it for themselves and founded the city of Eboracum in 71 ad. Eboracum was the then made the capital of Britainia inferior ( which included the north of England as well as the western midlands. Britainia superior made up the rest of the Romans British territory and was made up of Wales and the south of England. Famously the Romans never took Scotland). Eboracum was also the place where Constantine was proclaimed emperor, though that was not planned as it's just cause his Dad died while they were visiting. Eboracum fell into decline in the post-roman era and in the fifth century (iirc) the Angles took Eboracum. The Anglo-saxon name for Eboracum was Eoforwic. The city later became part of the kingdom of Northumbria and it soon became the chief city of the kingdom. In 866 the Vikings conquered the area and Eoforwic renamed again, this time to Jorvik. At this time it was the second largest city on the island of Britain, only London was larger in terms of population. The King of Wessex (an Anglo-Saxon Kingdom in the south west of England) United the Angelo-Saxon kingdoms as the first King of England. This English King known as Alfred the great defeated the Viking leader Guthrum in 878 and ended hostilities between the now united Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and the Viking ruled areas. The Treaty of Alfred and Guthrum was signed in 886 and allowed the vikings to keep their territory in the north and east which later became known as the Danelaw. Jorvik was the capital city of the Danelaw. The Danelaw didn't last forever and in 954 the reunification of England was completed by King Eadred when he took Jorvik from it's last Viking leader Eric Bloodaxe. However this united English kingdom did get taken by the Vikings wholesale in 1016 when Cnut became king of England. For a brief period between 1040 and 1042 Harthacnut ruled England, he was already the King of Denmark so in an alternative time perhaps they became one great kingdom? But in our timeline when Harthacnut died the throne went to the Englishman Edward of Wessex, know as Edward the Confessor. In 1066 William the conqueror took control of England after supposedly being promised the crown by Edward the Confessor. However he was not the only one who claimed that they had promised them the throne after Edward ( who died without an heir) . Yorkshire had recently been the battleground between the other 2 potential successors. Harald Sigurdsson 'Hadrada' a viking king of Norway and previous chief of the Varangian Guard in the Byzantine Empire who was invited to take the crown by Tostig Godwinson. Hadrada successful beat the combined armies of Northumbria and Mercia in the battle of Fulford but by was ultimately defeated in the battle of Battle of Stamford Bridge by Edward's English Successor Harold Godwinson (Tostig's brother and Edward's brother in law). With Hadrada dead Harold Godwinson then had to meet the armies of William of Normandy a fortnight later, but he caught an arrow with eye and died, leaving William as king of England. Lead by Edgar Godwin son, the hier of the late Harold Godwinson the remaining Saxons of North allied themselves with the Danes. This included the people of York who were not content with William as king of England and started a revolt. After this failed the people of York revolted again. Seeing the danger of the rebellious north William decided to calmly listen to thier concerns and move forward peacefully... No that was a lie, instead he carved a bloody warpath through York and beyond in what was called the 'Harrying of the North' killing 75% of the population, causing vast famines and burning down many settlements. The lasting impact of this can be seen today when you look at the population density of North V South England ( of course it's multi-factoral but I digress). York though did prosper once again and became a chatted city with it's own trade charter, though not before an incident where Jews seeking refuge in York castle were threatened to convert to Christianity or die and the Rabbi convinced most of them to commit suicide instead. But those who didn't died anyway. York suffered economic losses during the Henry the eighth's dissolution of the monasteries and the religious reformation that founded the Anglican church led to decline in the region. York had a strong Catholic base and an uprising of those opposed to the religious reform occured in 1536. Even after the Tudor period York remained a centre of Catholic rebellion, being the birthplace of Guy Fawkes, of the bonfire night gunpowder plot. In the English Civil war York was allied with the royalists how ever parliament forces took the city in the summer of 1644. The parliament forces won the war and English monarchy was dissolved. Oliver Cromwell lead the country as Crown protector and made it into a puritan state, he avd his successor after his death were immensely unpopular and In 1660 the monarchy was restored, with Charles the Second as king. Oliver Cromwell's corpse was dug up and beheaded. A Dutch colony called New Amsterdam came under English control in 1664. Charles gave New Amsterdam to his Brother who was the Duke of York. The (grand old) Duke of York had New Amsterdam permanently renamed New York in 1674. During this era York became less of a trading hub (being outpaced by Hull and Leeds) and more of a cultural centre. In 1839 York became connected to growing railway network. The railway allowed for faster trade, meaning new industries could start in York. Chocolate factories for example, with 2 prominent ones opening in York in this period, namely Rowntree's and Terry's. Railways and chocolate now dominated York. In 1935 Rowntrees invented the Kit-Kat. Both the Rowntree confectionery factory and the main train station were bombed by the Luftwaffe during the Baedeker Blitz as part of the second world war. But York Survived the war and started to lean into the tourism industry. In 1968 York's historic centre received a conservation designation and many museums have opened since, including the Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum, the York Dungeon and York's Chocolate Story. Nueva York in marvel is an alternate version of new York. It is the home of Spider-Man 2099 and features as the home of the headquarters of the spider-society in the second spider-verse movie (Across the spider-verse). Fun fact - I started writing this before anyone else had responded to the Nueva York question but, I had to stop partway through writing the brief history of York in order to catch my bus to work and do some work at work. -

It all makes sense now. Mara Jade was supposed to be one of the SW anniversary figures but when they made them @Mandalorianknight's cravings would overpower him and he'd steal them all straight from the factory, and a bit like a werewolf on the night of the full moon he'd awaken with no idea of what he's done except for a compulsive need for Lego Mara Jades . In the end they had to replace her with Nein Numb who would have otherwise just been a standard fig.

Celesté before Blathers? I guess he's coming soon though. The celseté set might be the first I buy for my self, I've bought others as gifts but I think I'll get 2 of the celseté set, one for myself and one for my sister, it's less than a tenner for a nice looking build and one of the best characters. -

Hmm, most of the games I'm into are either too mature for TLG (Baldur's gate 3, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, God of war, Assassin's Creed Odyssey ( I like Assassin's creed in general but I love odyssey specifically)), or it has already touched (Mario, Zelda, Portal, Spider-Man, Horizon, Sonic, Minecraft, Batman Arkham) I do like Pokémon but they would probably have done that at worlds this last weekend. And Mega has Pokémon ATM. Maybe an independent game like stardew valley, that would be cool. (See my expired ideas project for proof that I think that would be cool) Edit- looks like it was mario kart then? That's more of a sub-theme than a new theme anyway ( and a sub-theme they'd already announced no less). -
Paul McGann slander? No I can't accept this. ( Zagreus sits inside your head) But yeah a DC CMF would be a perfect opportunity to do more Doctor who characters? (Zagreus lives among the dead),No actually let's give them both Thier own CMFs. (Zagreus sees you in your bed) I can't believe that the next licensed CMF rumoured is formula 1. From absolute gold [D&D CMF] to terrible failure. I don't hate formula one but there'd be no good variety there at all [and the cars are more iconic than the drivers, it's not a logical choice for a CMF at all] (And eats you when you're sleeping) I mean the D&D series has so much variety and what will the formula 1 one be 10 racecar drivers a mechanic and a guy in a suit? ( Zagreus waits at the end of the world) Yawn. I hope it's a bogus rumour. CMFs need variety, even the last unlicensed one forgot that and was mostly spacesuits [cool spacesuits though anyway] (For Zagreus is the end of the world.) (His time is the end of time, And his moment time's undoing).

Given the minifig selection I'd say the band area and the throne are a given. Now on a different note, thinking about the magazine, a lot of the new figs this year were either Anniversary or rebuild the galaxy. I doubt the anniversary figs will but do we think it's possible for the rebuild the galaxy figs to come in magazine? I'd quite like a Sith Rey and Jar-Jar as well as the Jedi Vader, but I wouldn't want to pay aftermarket price for them if they might come easier later ( and while the dark falcon is a cool looking set it's a bit too big and pricey for what is basically a joke.). I'm also hoping the imperial Mandos get put I the mag at some point but that feels quite likely anyway. -

I do enjoy several properties rated as 15s or 18s. Take Baldur's gate 3 for example, it's a game I've fallen in love with but I can fully understand Lego not wanting to touch, I can respect it. As much as I'd find sets based of BG3 or Skyrim(though Skyrim is barely an 18, it's wasn't before special edition) or the Fallout show or the Witcher or House of dragon (and so on), it's a line I don't really want them to cross. Despite wasting more set slots strange display pieces, Lego is not an adult product. It's for everyone*, kids are main audience for some (most) sets, adults for others but really it's all universal. For deadpool in particular his films would be quite low down on the list of untouched properties I'd like TLG to cover. I mean I guess having the og set with Wade in means I'm less desperate for him. But he's not one of my favourite characters anyway so I'm not desperate for them to remake him. Word are the deepest thing that exist. Language is the backbone of most communication, the foundation of poetry, the building blocks of fiction and the substance of thought. Of course there are other way such things exist i.e thinking visually or communicating with sign language and so on. But the importance of language, of words cannot be understated. Words end wars, words incite riots, words can save your life, words can get you killed. Telling the doctor what is wrong with you WORDS, reading path of deceit by Tessa Grafton WORDS, looking at the ballot paper before you tick your vote WORDS, me typing this with all it's inevitable typos WORDS, checking the menu before ordering the same cod and chips I do 50% of the time WORDS, The praising of gods WORDS, the application for a new job WORDS, your exams and dissertations WORDS. et infinitum Words regardless of language have been pivotal for civilisation itself! Society itself would not exist as we know it! Invention needs the sharing of ideas and there few methods more succinct than words. Now after typing and reading it so much the word word looks to be an odd looking word in and of itself. *- obviously when I say everyone I do t include tiny babies who'd choke on it because of thier baby instincts to be incredibly stupid. -
