  1. Thanks a lot for your appreciations. I must say that the use of " perfect" word in two consecutive comments makes me feel very well I'm sure that the near future will bring a lot of beautiful solutions and also a lot of beautiful challenges in the 4 wide way of building integrated in a neo classic town vision. There are a lot of builders who are using such kind of techniques. In fact history is a source of inspiration and improvement. It should be used
  2. Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. Everything in the LEGO hobby is fun and perfectible. Indeed, in the Classic Town world is a challenge to hit the right proportions because they are not accurate and not in a strong relation with the real world. I've made another stair vehicle, smaller than the previous one and in a different way. I could not choose between them because I like both :) I think I'll keep them. 3. I've decided to build an airport stair vehicle adapted to the classic 4 wide airplanes. As far as I know, the only mobile stair for 4 wide planes could be found in City Airport set no 10159. The plane in the picture is the original plane from 6396 set. 4. Excellent building. I'd like to work there :)
  5. Beautiful architectural design and very nice use of the interior space.
  6. Nice picture with old woman and cats :) As for the book shop, the armchairs made of mudguards are wonderful.
  7. It looks great and the details are awesome.
  8. Well, I'll take the challenge :) A mobile stair is contained by 10159 International Airport set. Indeed it is not very inspired but is useful. http://lego.brickinstructions.com/lego_instructions/set/10159/City_Airport Thank you.
  9. Very nice! You've made lot of discreet but essential details.
  10. Thanks for your comment. I have the same opinion as you regarding the aircraft scale. In the same time I've seen many beautiful works in 6 or 8 wide. Most of my sets are from the middle of the 80s and I prefer to keep the 4 wide scale even I use modern elements and techniques. Maybe a Neoclassic Town movement could be brought in attention. Who knows? :)
  11. Thank you. I usually build the vehicles in 4 wide because I like the classic town way of building. Good point regarding the stair vehicle and tow tractor.
  12. I've built these vehicles to be used for the town airport. It is a small unit containing a water (or foam) cannon, a tank with ladder, tools and hose and a paramedic vehicle. 13. Very nice idea. The modern house looks great.
  14. Thank you very much for your appreciations. This year we celebrate 50 years since the first LEGO motorized train (the set 113 http://brickset.com/...rized-Train-Set ) was launched. It looks very strange now but I think it was a hi tech piece in early days
  15. #22 - 1 point #23 - 1 point #24 - 1 point #33 - 2 points
  16. Beautiful. A very good vision on how to organize an interior living space.
  17. Rock on! Very nice composition.
  18. The MOCs look great. You should post more pictures with details.
  19. Congratulations!
  20. It was built for fun but it still works well :) LEGO Train 4,5v by Severus A, on Flickr LEGO Train 4,5v by Severus A, on Flickr 02tr by Severus A, on Flickr LEGO Train 4,5v by Severus A, on Flickr
  21. The version 3 looks excellent. I can hardly wait to see the motorized version.
  22. "Locomotive Breath" - a wonderful song of Jethro Tull band from Aqualung album. Also a very good title for your topic. Same spirit! :)
  23. Thanks for the appreciation. I had a reason for the orange stairs. They are like the "don't step on the crocodile" sign :))) Thank you. I was thinking to make a small tram which fits to my LEGO town. The update you made to your model has given me the direction to build a tram which is on one side functional and on the other side keeps the toy aspect. As for the color scheme, I've tried to reproduce the bright colorful contrast of the old trams from my beloved Transylvanian city - Cluj-Napoca. They are screaming: "Even your car is superexpensive, it is not stronger than me!" or "Even I am quiet I need a long distance to stop!" or "You have mostly 80 kg, I am much much bigger. There is no need for a confrontation" :))) tram cluj 1 by Severus A, on Flickr tram cluj 3 by Severus A, on Flickr tram cluj 4 by Severus A, on Flickr tram cluj 5 by Severus A, on Flickr
  24. Ive made it. you can see pictures here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=131354 Thanks.
  25. The idea for this work has come from the LDD model posted by the member Mudoch17 here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=119791 The main rail car is built on a 9v motor using a 4,5v loco base and the wagon is built on a regular 16x6 plate. So, event they look similar, they were built in different ways.
