The train station is amazing. Very beautiful building.

It looks excellent. Now you have to build the landscape near the rails :)

60052 Cargo Train vs. 60098 Heavy-Haul Train?
Severus A replied to wgemini's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I would also recommend 60052. Besides the fact that it has much more elements that could be used for play, it also contain a cow minifig which is a rare part. -
Hi, yes, the doors are from 60052. I've bought all the tiles ( not only the tiles I've used in this model ) from Bricklink. The store was Bricksy - up to 80%off from Germany. The rest of the elements are from different other sets and previous B.L. acquisitions. I hope my answer is useful.

A lot of excellent ideas, as usual. Seeing your model I want to ask if you thought to use for the floor the 4539880 beam frame 5 x 7 or something similar. It might be less heavier than the system bricks.

MOC: " Mocanita" on Vaser Valley (Maramures County - Romania)
Severus A replied to badgogo's topic in LEGO Train Tech
It seems that your work is among the finalists in Brickstory Contest. Congratulations and "Noroc"! -
Awesome details. And the story is great too.

Thanks. Anytime with pleasure. I hope to see your model soon. Thanks for your appreciation. There is on this site an excellent PF replica of BR 08 Shunter made by Bricktrix. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82393

Awesome building. The crane and the facades look great. You have my support on L.I.

A wonderful idea for an awesome detail.

The assembly looks awesome. Beautiful building.

Thank you. Please excuse me for late answer. The communication between the remote control and I.R. receiver is very good from any direction. In fact the head of the I.R. is open on one side and the walls of the engine are not wide enough to block the signal from other different directions.

It might take some time but I am sure you will put it on the rails in LEGO version. Good luck!

Excellent design. If some new Space theme will be produced your model should be included.

The M Tron, the next and the 09 are wonderful in my opinion. I appreciate the humour of the 10th.

Amazing! The narrow gauge train looks great and the landscape is beautiful as it is in real life of Maramures. -
[MOC] R.C. Matisa. Rail Mantenance Vehicle
Severus A replied to Severus A's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks :) Indeed the real model is Matisa BNRI 85. Have you taken the picture in Maramures County? -
Awesome idea. It seems that the needed space is not very big. If I've seen well, the assembly could be easy integrate into a building.

Thanks a lot for sharing. I saw many awesome ideas on your MOCs. I might borrow some of them in the future. Thanks Will. Just start to build. The experience comes with exercise :)

[MOC] R.C. Matisa. Rail Mantenance Vehicle
Severus A replied to Severus A's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank you. For me it was also a surprise and a good challenge to build it in LEGO. -
This kind of vehicles are used for checking and assuring the level and the alignment of the rails. The MOC is not a replica after a real engine but I've used a real vehicle as a source of inspiration. I've built it in town style and it works very well. I am sorry for the poor quality of the video. I'll make a proper one in one of my LUG's future events.
