While there was a harvester in 2018, I'd love to see a new Combine Harvester with at least a trailer to connect onto the 2021 Tractor . Also the 2018 Harvester was smaller and used blades , I think the front design was meant for Corn while the 2009 version was more proper for Grain/Wheat etc. Farm might be getting a bit more popular with the new Amazon series, at least for AFOL.

I have no interest in a microscale lighthouse, and if it comes with motor parts as the name literally says it's going to be an overpriced adult display toy like the piano. But congrats to the people who wanted that , 10k voted on it after all.

Finally got this set built, and tried to mod it to fit minifigs, I didn't really do any designing beforehand. Just a quick build, transparent 1x2 plates help fitting the windows together, and had to add a space for the figure helm/hairpiece to fit, while trying to maintain the shape and colors, also added turn signals and steering wheel. As for the race cars/karts, it was very simple mod of moving the nose 1 stud forward and adding a steering wheel, really got some Town vibes. Orginal set : Mod for minifigs:

A big bus would certainly be nice, maybe even Electric (could be as simple as an optional sticker, but it still gets out a message), considering LEGO is pushing solar and wind power in Friends and City, and Octan-E branding. Electric buses are being used more and more worldwide.

No train in the upcoming 25 entry review tomorrow, but the huge 57 entry IDEAS review later (Fall 2021) has a Canada Train , Train Bookends , Polar Express .

Lego Ideas Support Thread - Historical/Castle
TeriXeri replied to leafan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
IDEAS review (third of 2020) tomorrow, with Viking Village or Classic Castle included in the 25 entries. There's a Roman Warship too but I have my doubts about that having a chance, but it would be nice , in the case the other 2 aren't picked imo. I don't think LEGO would do the LoTR IDEAS set either.- 532 replies

Results tomorrow! (25 entries of late 2020) "The countdown to the Third 2020 LEGO Ideas review results announcement is underway as we will share the news tomorrow the 22nd June, 2021 at 3PM CEST (Danish time)!" https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/a4ae09b6-0d4c-4307-9da8-3ee9f3d368d6/post/e84d969b-502e-438a-9b33-5d4dbbb81f45 I really hope at least one of those Viking Village or Classic Castle makes it into the selection.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
True, I think something construction is perhaps more likely, based on the new tractor bucket size, but sets like Halloween Hayride and Tractor including Hay Bales, with no animals to eat them strikes me a bit odd as well. Might not be a full on farm theme, but the return of the Cow Horn in 2021, the abundance of Friends horses in 2021 (new mould, 5 horse sets), sheep and horse in the Disney set , a new hay bale grille piece and beside Great vehicles/Police/Fire, overall more location focused design, gives me some optimism, even if it might not mean anything at all. -
"official" alternate suggestions from 4565 and 4559.

Since there are new Tractor Tyres, a new Construction Bucket on the same Tractor set, a 4+ Roadworks truck, I think 2022 would be due for a non-4+ large Construction/Roadworks set. It would fit perfectly with the new road plates , like the Skate Park was built on top of roads. Could have an excavator, dump truck, road roller or cement mixer, some signs, tools and maybe some animal (City had lots of dogs recently so maybe a Cat this time)

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
For standalone vehicles I'd love to see a Bus. Also with those new tractor tyres, and the Bucket on the tractor is actually a new piece as well, some Construction vehicle / site would be nice. City is due for an excavator/dump truck and the current construction sets are 4+ only (including the Garbage Truck). -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Recently finished both 2021 sets, and building and seeing them in person just adds much more value instead of just pictures or review videos. Beside the very bright hidden colors like Coral and purple inside the build, it surprised me how most angled plates and angled bricks come in pairs of 2 or more. Like some angled plates and wedge bricks come in a left and right version, so it's nice to have both in a set, and in this case for Nian and Spring Lantern sets it was noticeable. -
Looking at the 90s 9v train instructions , and all of them have at least 1-2 alternates pictured, and both the 1996 trains change to a proper steam locomotive that wouldn't look out of place next to the 1998 Classic Trrain. Beside the Steam train builds there's more. 4565: Freight and Crane Railway has 2 entirely different cargo yard builds as well with 2 different trains, trucks and cranes basicly looks like a 4-in-1 from suggested builds. https://letsbuilditagain.com/instructions/4565/ 4559: Cargo Railway has a different truck and a rail laying diesel-looking train as well. https://letsbuilditagain.com/instructions/4559/ I think a lot would be possible with a 1000+ piece set.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I looked at the instructions, I'm still going to try to turn 31113 into a minifig go-kart transporter once I have this set, just seems a nice Moddable set, shouldn't be too hard to add a 4 wide window and space for a fig in the cab as it's mainly brick filled. If anything, the set has a good parts selection for some City car builds (18 wheels in 3 sizes) 60305 Car Transporter hasn't had a discount yet and is still exclusive to LEGO.com -
Already 14 projects up for the next review period (6 September deadline) , with over 70 more projects over 5000. Will it beat the 57 record, time will tell.

2021 Chinese new year and xtra sets had some focus on Bamboo, so maybe an adult panda set isn't that far away, while the green candlesticks are in production. Friends already had it's panda cubs in 2020, so having a minifig panda(cub) 2 year later wouldn't be impossible, also panda might be extra popular due to multiple references via monkie kid.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
True, and the Cow Horn piece is back in production since 2020 as well, while being mostly in just 2009 sets before, and 2 CMF. I don't know, after this year, with more focus on buildings again, and road plates being used for terrain in the safari sets, maybe LEGO went a slightly different direction. At least more unpredictable. Stuntz clearly is the Action Theme for the next period , and I don't rule out more location sets with road plates, I don't think 2022 will have that many sets dedicated to Fire/Police either (perhaps a new mobile command truck after 5 years but only if it's actually retiring at the end of the year, right now there are pretty much any type of Police/Fire set available, with a Headquarters, Truck, small and large helicopters, boats, and small+large cars/bikes. I think medical are more likely. At least the tractor set this year is nice (and probably will sell some more to AFOL as well with the new Amazon show Clarkson's Farm) What is interesting is that last year had Stunt Team / Monster Truck small sets, and this year has Stuntz, so sometimes sets of previous year carry over to next (also has been with the ski rescue copter/snow groomer/ski resort before) Safari Truck also carried over to Wildlife Rescue theme. Tractor might or might not be a prelude, only know until we see it. -
So true, it's part of the reason I just buy complete sets, I think if I go bricklink / bricks and pieces for MOCs it'll never end. (doesn't mean it's a wrong strategy, just depends a lot of what one's goals are) Alternate builds, or combined builds are some of my favorite MOCs as those seem somewhat attainable, and also give inspiration to actually start moccing. Sadly those Pirates / Soldiers sets retired very fast in 2016 (when I came back to LEGO) so I never got those, but I don't really buy retired sets or used sets either, I tend to move forward and work with that. But this gives some inspiration for making my own fort probably soon enough, likely will start out with the parts from the Barracuda Bay island and Pirate Rollercoaster, I still hope for some set with imperial/armada figs soon though, cant have pirates without fort or opponent faction to plunder.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Still hoping the Tractor, and the Disney set Sheep is a sign for more Farm set next year. I know the Tractor has a trailer connector (but do does the Camper/Buggy Transport), so that doesn't have to mean much. Wildlife sets animal density does give some hope. LEGO really needs more minifig horses in sets, and the comeback of Cows would be nice, Goat would be a bonus. 2 monkey and a scorpion in a set could easily be something like 2 chicken and a sheep in a set , but that's just wishful thinking. Barracuda Bay Pig also should still be in production. -
LEGO Ninjago 2021
TeriXeri replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Any chance to see Skybound Legacy next year? If so, a new NRG Dragon, Lighthouse Siege or Misfortune Keep would be nice. -
Love the 4-legged dragon update, more Warcraft Drake-like, and also the classic LEGO green dragons have 4 legs.

I think the different style makes sense, those Morion helmets weren't just used by spain alone but a time-period style of helmet for the 16-17th century. Wouldn't surprise me if LEGO did Armada sets again, that there would be Silver ingots included instead of gold. That said, the Armada wave of LEGO sets was small, never had a big fortress, and I don't forsee a remake of Armada Flagship soon, unless LEGO has some surprises, but right now I'd prefer locations over more ships. Why armada was somewhat relevant to me : There's a lot of Dutch vs Spain history (80 year war) , and sea battles involving ships carrying silver, thats why I think having a different faction then just French/English Soldiers is nice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_treasure_fleet " Only the Dutch admiral Piet Hein managed to capture an entire fleet, in the Battle in the Bay of Matanzas in 1628, after which its cargo was taken to the Dutch Republic."

2022 would be 30 years since 6277: Imperial Trading Post, and IF lego makes an imperial set I'd think they'll pick redcoats (last seen 2009) as those have been away much longer then bluecoats (2015) , however Armada hasn't had a modern variant either.

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
TeriXeri replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Another thing I noticed that might be used on Sci-Fi / Fantasy type of sets could be the new 2 wide spring loaded shooter in 2020, and 2021 City Fire introduced a fully transparent projectile which means they can have other variants in other transparent colors.- 991 replies

I wonder if this was meant to originally come out in 2020 (50th anniversary of the Superstar Shoe), but was delayed in terms of Adidas now having more media attention via events like Euro 2020 and Olympics and World Cup 2022. 2020 wasn't really a nice year for sports branding with restrictions like no people in stadiums and such. Adidas was a main brand in LEGO sets as far back as 2000 (Euro 2000 Soccer sets). I know 2020 had Old Trafford but that set came out very early in 2020 before Covid was a pandemic.
