Probably, but the few webshops online in Europe that still have it, are already selling this for nearly €300 or over. Sellers on bricklink sell it sealed for anywhere €200+-€500, with most above €250 already. Physical big LEGO stores don't really exist that much in my country anymore (LEGO did open their own 3 stores after 2020 but that's different), and the generic shops that have LEGO as side product don't sell those big/exclusives. Lowest I've seen discounts on this and the blacksmith was 15% max, which might be a rule by LEGO to have a max discount % for such products online. Officially it's been out of stock on LEGO.com in Europe since about mid november. Meanwhile the 3-in-1 Pirate Ship increased price by 20% / €20 this year, and also has stock issues (although most webshops outside of LEGO still use the old price on what remaining stock they got)

Maybe a Cargo Train will be a set but could be an exclusive / not listed in catalogs ? The 2022 City rocket launch centre didn't show up in initial set numbers either.

LEGO Creator 2022 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to TeriXeri's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The latest non-hinged, but removable floors/technic pin Town style started with Townhouse Pet Shop from 2019 and Mid size Toy Shop from 2020 , both just retired. 2019 House boat also retired, but Friends has a bigger 2022 house/canal boat now. As for current buildings still available but not town : 2021 Beach House 2021 Tree House 2020 Caravan fills a gap of Outdoor (Caravan/Camper), and Lighthouse (with red/white stripes and black roof like the 2011/2016 sets) 2014-2017 had also a Town style with sidewalks/technic pins but hinges, 2017-2018 tried something different with modules with removable doors/windows/garden sections. Early prediction for 2023 would be some outdoor/mountain/snow cabin. -
LEGO Creator 2022 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to TeriXeri's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is just my theory : Looks like Noodle shop is another 31105: Townhouse Toy Store sized set based on that piece count probably €40-50. Hopefully Viking Ship is €100 max, and not like the Pirate Ship that got price increase by +€20 this month. -

The wildlife theme from 2021 did have a lego exclusive big camp set 60307: Wildlife Rescue Camp, so that could still mean something similar with a bigger farm set. Rocket Launch Centre didnt show up in the initial list of march space either. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Rescue missions ? sounds like some variation of People Packs (2019 had a Space people pack too), set numbers of last people packs were very close to the Advent calendars. Farm sets and grocery store sound nice as well. Friends main street has an amazing grocery store so I wonder how that'll compare to City. -
Dark Temple and Crystal King have the most interesting name but I can't wait to see the others more then just name. I wonder if it's underground / Power Miners / Rock Raider esque as other subthemes have hit into other old themes somewhat before. Nexo Knight did end with all golden figures and power ups, but I don't see Ninjago ending just like that. Maybe it'll wrap up the main story to allow more diverse subthemes / legacy later.

LEGO City Adventures is still broadcast at nickelodeon but only at night for some reason, doesn't really seem to be big in my country. when it's only broadcast at 4 am
-
I do like the more brick based system myself but I'm biased as my only experience with full technic CCBS is basicly Slizers before Bionicle, and then the Nexo Knight sets 2016 onward. As for the new fixed knee/elbow joints, it's a nice part to have available but so far the implementation on younger age sets seems to make the most sense.

Looks like some "repeats" on those City magazine gifts (like the red bike & police car from 2019 back in 2022,, and 2020/2021 had a very similar white police bike as well) No pizza included in this red bike tho -
I hope LEGO one day does something like a time travel/dimension ninjago season back to the scene of the original Ninja theme, with horses and such. Doesn't seem that weird considering recent ninjago did their spin on a Video Game dimension, D&D , Islanders and Aquazone/Atlantis recently, or sky pirates before that.

Monkie Kid polybag is so good, currently a good time to order if interested in it + Year of Tiger.

When live streams on the larger (non-lego related) channels can reach well over 10000, or even 50000+ during events , 10000 votes on IDEAS starts to feel somewhat small. However, I don't think upping the number of votes is a solution. So far the system doesn't seem "abused" yet, or else we'd easily get 100 projects a round of people that would just go for the $500 of LEGO products for rejected projects. Also it should be able to track how fast a project reaches the goal internally, and if a lot of people voted within a small timeframe that's suspicious. I do expect LEGO to probably deny/remove "dummy" projects before rewarding them if it reaches that point , on the other hand, a legit project could still be advertised via such media platform, so it's still a complicated issue.

A 2-in-1 train could be so cool (LEGO does 2-in-1 for technic, and LEGO Movie 1/2 had some 2-in-1 as well so it's not just Creator) The only train set I have/had (old pre 2001 sets are stored) is 4559: Cargo Railway, alternate instructions weren't provided back then for suggestions on the box/manual. But the steam locomotive they showed in the instruction picture looked very set-like, and not too different from the limited "Classic Train" that appeared 2 years later in 1998 . And this is considering this still came from a train that used some large pieces for the original main train cockpit, but then again the set did have almost 900 pieces, many of them regualr slopes, bricks and plates. I posted this before but here it is again Alternate suggested build from 4559: Cargo Railway (1996) from instructions. Another suggested build was a yellow train with a simple crane to pickup / lay down rails , using the window from the truck instead. I know 9v allowed more compact motorized builds compared to battery boxes but for a steam loco the battery could still be in a coal tender type of wagon. That said, I know people make their own alternate builds all the time, with surprising results, but making a steam loco out of a modern train certainly will be easier if the set uses proper colors/pieces instead.

So far ideas looks to have no big-hitter non-licensed minifig set like the (Tree House 2019 , Pirates 2020, Castle 2021) , but there's still the 90th anniversary set to consider for this year. What I mean is this year for me so far, doesnt have a "must-have" to me like barracuda bay or medieval blacksmith ticked some big boxes that also synced with the later 3-in-1 sets of the same years. Not trying to degrade the current approved / soon to be produced 2022 Ideas, and still very interested to see the final results/reviews of both the sets and upcoming 10000 voters. Sonic / Office have a lot of fans. Starry Night will be the LEGO-fied version of an official painting as a set (outside of pixel-style DOTS and mosaics) Globe looks to be an interesting concept / object so far , and the recolored continents look quite a lot fresher compared to the original, I'll consider this the "typewriter/piano" category of set. Lighthouse, will be the one I'm very interested to see the final design for, both the final scale, and to see where the focus will be on the "motorized" , or manual function, with optional electronics like the piano.

[MOC] Blacksmith Shop (alternative model of 21325)
TeriXeri replied to the Inventor's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Looks great, considering it's an alternate build, the tiled base is especially cool to see on what can be done with the set parts. Cart looks original as well using those windows as sides. I certainly plan to scale down my set to smaller buildings, and this certainly helps inspiration -

Good / well executed (city) helicopter features
TeriXeri replied to Pizzasemmel's topic in LEGO Town
60302 has an integrated winch on the underside (hook can lock on the antistuds of the bottom plate so its hidden) and a somewhat different design with the 6-rotors + a cargo space with no studs. With modifications, moving the winch to the outside sideways for example, cargo space could be increased from 6x4 to 10x4 so almost 2x as big, and then it might fit the included crocodile, or lion from other sets of the 2021 safari rescue wave. -
I'm still hoping for a more brick-built train canopy, or at least more then 1 big piece. I'd love to see a window like this but then as a standalone window : So basicly a 6 wide version of:

I just found out you can do an experimental dark mode via chrome workaround to force darkmode, but it's like a all or nothing solution for all websites, it's far from perfect, but it's an option out there. It's not perfect but it does give the forum dark background with white text, there are multiple options via a dropdown menu that gives a few different looks or how it'll affect images etc. (selective inversion of non-image elements seems to work best overall) Type in the web adress box: chrome://flags Then type in the Search Flags box: Dark Mode Then you can enable and relaunch it.

Good / well executed (city) helicopter features
TeriXeri replied to Pizzasemmel's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah that one looks great too, its trying a new style with those triangle slopes, but looks good from most angles. And that set is the same price as 60343: Rescue Helicopter Transporter , and even both at 212 / 215 pieces only, the fire heli set looks to have more content and an extra fig. -
Good / well executed (city) helicopter features
TeriXeri replied to Pizzasemmel's topic in LEGO Town
I don't have a whole lot of City helicopters as I only started collecting it from 2018. Out of the ones I do have 60207: Sky Police Drone Chase , design style was a nice one different from the norm and closer to "military" as close as City would get, net shooter/water shooter is pretty much as far as City goes with projectiles, so not judging that. 60209: Diamond Heist was pretty cool as well , having a seat in the back with that cable to lower down a figure onto the armored truck to steal the "red diamond" also could lift the roof off the truck after roleplaying that the figure cut it open with the circular saw included. Other helicopters I think were interesting concepts : 60125*: Volcano Heavy-Lift Helicopter looks interesting with the dropping off a base-station, but a very expensive set, but still one of the biggest City helicopters made. 60162:* Jungle Air Drop Helicopter / 72005: Aaron's X-bow , dropping off a car or bike, with different type of locking mechanisms. 31096*: Twin-Rotor Helicopter / 70353: The Heligoyle , having 1 button to spin both rotors is a cool feature, and the creator set had a cargo bay+winch. 60166*: Heavy-Duty Rescue Helicopter , sliding side door could probably be implemented on smaller helicopters , has a winch, and even a 6-wide boat in the cargo, so yes overall 10 wide but got the features. *sets I don't own so only judge from reviews 4 of those helicopters using the nice 8 wide cockpit window, hope one day there will be a 6 wide variant of such a window, but 8 wide for a helicopter still isn't oversized imo. City started to using a lot of Drone copters in recent years and I don't think those are really interesting, but still could add some imagintive play, and a few drones put out fires. I do like the smaller helicopters from the Police and Fire stations, they are nice enough to be included but not oversized and still better then recent polybag/magazine helicopters imo.
