2021 Legacy covered snakes, skulkin , ghosts and nindroids in the same year. (basicly 2011-2015 enemies) Maybe LEGO is holding out for Legacy 1-2 years , so they can release 2016-2017 Skybound, Day of the Departed , Hands of Time related sets. (for example Lighthouse , Misfortune's Keep, Samurai X Cave, Dragon's Forge) Of course legacy doesn't have to mean re-released "copies" of older sets, legacy has had some newer things that weren't made into sets. I don't follow the show, but Legacy Overlord Dragon, Tournament of Elements, Monastery of Spinjitzu for example aren't simply modern re-releases of older sets. (I assume based on things seen in the earlier show seasons ? ) With 2022 summer looking like it's some type of big final battle season, maybe 2023 will take it a bit more easy and return some legacy sets.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
2021 summer set reveals with pictures showing up on webshops etc, for June sets were 1st week of May, 2022 Winter set reveal were 1st week of December. I don't expect this to be any different for City or Creator 3-in-1 this year. (Noodle Shop and Submarine are still minifig related sets that probably fit with the City theme) As for the 2022 train subtheme release, it's already known the 2018 trains retire at 31st of July (and 2014/2010 did as well), still could be either a June 1st release like 2010 or 2014, or a July 1st release like 2018. -
https://brickset.com/sets/41713-1/Olivia-s-Space-Academy City Space, Friends Space, 3-in-1 Space, Monkie Kid Space, there are a lot of offerings at the moment (compared to Pirates or Castle at least), but that seems to be the current way LEGO seems to do things currently instead of the nearly constant 1978-1998(+2001), or 2008-2013 "standalone" Space waves However, I don't think it would rule out a dedicated Sci-Fi theme either, 2011 City Space co-existed with the release of Alien Conquest in the same year.

Botanical Collection - Rumours and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Succulents look quite nice, but need to see the final in details first (things like parts lists etc) I'm a big fan of Cactus or Aloe type plants, but those builds perhaps look a bit too smooth. Orchid looks fantastic, imo the best botanical set yet.- 137 replies

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Finished the Space Station set now as well, quite nice and modular (even tho it doesn't have a huge interior, neither did the 2019 station). Also feels like it could easily serve as another habitation module for the Moon surface base, with the extra beds, food and monitors, I love the slightly darker blue color of the new trans-light blue material (that's sadly scratches more easily, but the color looks great). Solar panels are printed in this set, but the sticker solar panels aren't as metallic as the other sets as they aren't printed on a metallic sheet. (thankfully no transparent stickers on those cockpits) Still, I think the darkblue/gold solarpanel color scheme looks good overall with this subtheme. All the figures have a lot more classic looking logos as well, and the brick built backpacks are certainly nicer compared to the old atlantis-styled gear. 2019 City Space color scheme seems a lot more based around a prequel to 2008 Mars Mission, with the orange mars logos and color schemes (and more futuristic shuttles and helper robots), while 2022 City Space went a more Classic logo but with a blue planet (earth). I wouldn't call 2022 a 100% classic space logo , but moreso as prequel, but the logo design on the figures and backpacks is still very nice and useful for Space builds. Overall, LEGO has done a good job with a middle ground between NASA realism, Concepts, and playset while using interesting color schemes and parts, and the new dual moulded boulders with ice crystals inside are nicely made. -
I have the same figure and the R and L are there, I think it's part of the inside Leg Mould and not a print, but only visible because those legs are transparent.

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Agree BURP aren't even directly visible in 71722: Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons or 71717: Journey to the Skull Dungeons , yet add some extra hollow space to play/hide things. Also the recent 2022 City Moon base uses 2 corner BURP to form the back of the moon cave/garage. Covering up BURP kind of might sound like it defeats the purpose of saving parts, but in a big budget set, a lot of repeated parts like rock slopes shouldn't be a problem.- 2,976 replies

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
"classic" castles , especially from the falcon/crusader era certainly were known for technic pins or hinges, so seeing some of that here would certainly be nice. As for actual 3-in-1. LEGO have proven they CAN hide colors inside some models very well: 3-in-1 Pirate ship, the red/green interior isn't just for starboard/portside building help, but also are used as vegetation/building in the alternates. 3-in-1 Shuttle has a lot of very well hidden yellow inside for the alternate moon lander. Still, for a 90th anniversary castle, I'd rather see a focus on a main model only, and then do hinges/modules, instead of hiding weird colors inside for the sake of alternate builds. Now, Castle has been either using a lot of greys, or black as main colors of their builds, even while LEGO could probably do some form of 2-in-1 castle which has either a grey or a black exterior with different "factions" intentions. Even if black walls could certainly be hidden/used as interior walls, or a black castle could be situated on a grey cliff, I still don't think it's that good of an idea to force it to be 2-in-1 or 3-in-1. While 31120 alternate builds are quite nice, and quite clearly the B and C models aren't really standalone Castles, especially C model is an expansion section , I don't think a €300+ set should follow the same idea.- 2,976 replies

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Personally I don't see what a road plate would've added in this set's case, without simply inflating price or compromising other features. I much rather get the included full set of tools, cool "sky crane" parts, big rock pieces, and detailed figures for the budget instead of some flat road that makes little sense on the moon (imo). Larger terrain would've been nice for sure, but Road plates are too smooth and shiny for a moon surface. As for the Moon Rocket Launch set, some road plates there would certainly have been nice to soften the budget a bit, currently it's not worth €130-140 at all imo (seems to be semi exclusive as it's not widely sold compared to the other 3 sets which already got big discounts), currently I got the orbital station to build still, which, while expensive (especially in $) still has a lot more appeal compared to the SLS rocket set. (also monkie kid galactic rocket was an excellent space rocket) That said, if the SLS rocket does end up getting big discount, it still has cool features, and the dark orange parts could serve as a Shuttle external fuel tank as well. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
So far, the City Moon Rover and Moon Base impress me a lot, even the stickers aren't that bad, the metallic ones need extra care to apply but do look very good. 2019 strengths of the space subtheme were the people pack and accesoires and the first time seeing a lunar orbital station in LEGO. To me 2019 Space kind of felt like a prequel to the 2008 Mars Mission theme with the orange color scheme and 2 actual mars sets, I like the 2022 Logo better as while it's not Classic Space in the full sense, it's a lot closer to it, and more like escaping earth to go to the moon, whereas the classic space logo was more like traveling beyond the cratered/planet moon depicted. I usually don't like big prefab cockpits but I think this newer 2 piece cockpit piece is very good, and versatile as it can be used as it's own rocket stage, space station cockpit, or even earth-based simulator as it's easily attached with technic pins, even has potential as aircraft/submarine type mocs. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Just built the 2022 City Moon Base and Rover. For me so far it's the closest to a 3-4 set "classic" Space theme it's been since LEGO Movie related Benny stuff. (mainly LEGO Movie 2, as I wasn't collecting during Movie 1, or any of the 2000s themes for that matter, insectoids was my last space theme prior to LEGO Movie 2 / 2019 City) Rover wheels work very well in multiple direction but could even be modified into it's own spacecraft type thing removing the wheels. At least it follows the more basic concepts of scanning terrain, and finding resources like meteors/crystals going back to multiple themes, like aquazone, Power Miners , and Volcano City. The base might not have huge interior but the main garage is quite good, and comes with a full set of tools instead of just the usual wrench/hammer that's been the norm in many sets instead of the tool pack. Despite being large premade parts, in this case I absolutely love the new cockpit pieces on the moon lander rocket (and also on the moon space station). + The cockpit is also easily detachable and could easily be made into a Simulator type thing like the old Spaceport subtheme of 1999 Town (6455: Space Simulation Station) Also quite compatible with the 2019 City/Mars sets (or even 2020 City Underwater base parts) The large Quarter dome parts are pretty cool too, going back to older themes like Futuron or Aquanauts , and other themes having large dome sections, if they make them in neon colors that's be amazing, the piece itself seems fairly flimsy, and very prone to scratches however. The solar panel stickers aren't bad as they are shiny, and the space logo is very good as well on both the stickers/prints and the various figures. Might not be a Classic Space replacement but for me it's like Prequel to Classic space , humans just going/settling to the moon instead of inter-planetary. The 2019 Space theme perhaps was more of a prequel to the 2008 Mars Mission, with a more orange color scheme. I still got the Lunar Space Station to build later, which has some interesting modular potential with other sets. So far, while City or Monkie Kid or Friends aren't full Space themes in the classic sense , for me, 2022 does tick quite a few boxes in a good way. I'm not as interested in the SLS rocket at the moment, but it's also so far the most expensive and the least discounted set (only 1 webshop seems to sell it outside of LEGO so it's probably limited release here right now , and sometimes discounts won't happen in the first months for such sets, similar thing happened with the 2019 Deep Space Rocket) -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Shroffy123 meant the 31120 (3-in-1 Castle) pictures , which appeared about at the start of May 2021 with a June 2021 release. 3-4 weeks before release seems to be the average time for good pictures to appear, January 2022 set pictures appeared mostly right at the start of December. LEGO's 50th anniversary was at 13 August 1982, so 90th anniversary being 13 August 2022.- 2,976 replies

Best chance to see old monkey mold back would be if Ninjago made more Legacy sets, in particular Skybound, since that's the last time it was used in 2016 (until it retired in mid-2017), same season also used other pirate things. 2021 Ninjago Legacy remade 2015 sets, so if Legacy continues, 2016 should probably be next. If the mould is in use, there's still chance to see it in more natural colors later.

10 piece pre-moulded dragons would not improve the theme at all. Pre moulded/printed heads/jaws is a good middle ground, and still allow customization. For Jurassic World it makes sense to use the same dinos for consistency, the Raptor and T-rex have been constantly used from 2012 to now. The first Jurassic World movie was expected to release much earlier then 2015 initially, 2008-2011, so LEGO likely already had the designs ready in 2012 using them for the Dino theme and later 2015 the Jurassic World theme launched with the movie. 2022 Jurassic World sets are extremely overpriced.

Brick-built Animals VS Molded Animals
TeriXeri replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't mind brick built animals, but in some cases like the Horse, they are too iconic to leave out of a big Castle set. -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Tbh I wouldn't mind a 3-in-1 type of build, at least a Castle that can be build in multiple ways (not saying 3 ways, but modular walls are nice), however, it should include regular animals in this case, which 3-in-1 typically do not. However, it's probably a confusion on a listing as 18+ type of sets are still sometimes listed under Creator / Creator Expert type of categories.- 2,976 replies

2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Saw the review of the City Lunar Space Station, and looks like they might've already had this Friends minidoll space set in mind when adding those footrests to the beds so a minidoll can fit on it. There's a tile with HLC in the bigger space base, so certainly City and Friends are on the same universe/planet (beside the other references before in Airport/Train sets)- 136 replies

Ninjago has been releasing it's largest sets in the June summer waves consistently now for a lot of years, and 2022 will be no exception. 2022 has 3 dragons so far, and we already know there will be more for this year, the biggest set for summer is a Dragon actually. So far the lack of Legacy isn't really affecting the number of mechs/dragons/temples/cars imo, but the Evo concept certainly aims at a wider age target audience (wider range doesn't mean younger) + there are still dragons from previous years on shelves : 71742: Overlord Dragon - no end date known 71753: Fire Dragon Attack - 31 Jul 2022 end date (brickset) 71746: Jungle Dragon - no end date known 71754: Water Dragon - no end date known

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Honestly I would have no problems with some panels or BURP supporting the model. BURP variants especially have been used to good effect in many recent sets and then often covered up with rock detail unlike the old days where they would be mostly exposed. Pieces like this I would not mind in a big set, as long as they are used well, sparingly and integrated : Then there are parts like this which become borderline oversimplified, I know they got a certain shape that would otherwise not really possible but the part would be a lot more obvious due to the size and depth. That said, the new Super Mario Peach Castle roof half cone actually does look quite amazing due to it's 3d texturing, could be integrated into a textured tower for sure (the rest of the peach castle isn't really a good example as it's a playset with open towers)- 2,976 replies

2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Shuttle Set is €70, that's half the price of the City Launch set, which is €140. Even compared to the Creator Shuttle which is €50, this isn't a bad value at all.- 136 replies

LEGO used to have those 53 degree roof bricks (part 6044), but that part has not been made since 1998 , but still might be useful if it's a digital MOC.

That friends Space Shuttle is indeed very good, like a smaller, rounder, yet similar version of the 3-in-1 shuttle but with focus on a building , minidolls and still retain the play value/details.- 136 replies

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Looks like Friends-i-fied version of the 3-in-1 shuttle but I think it still works great as it's subtle color change and not a full pastel/pink shuttle. The shuttle design can certainly look like it came from the same shuttle manufacturer, yet a slightly different model. I do like the round 6 wide cockpit window, it's a bit of a cartoony look but fits with Friends very well. The minidoll suits look nice as well , it uses some coral/light pink but it's not like LEGO went full Sweet Mayhem on it. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
That modern version of the "classic" Space Police / M-Tron / Ice Planet / Aquasharks shaped canopy is definately interesting. Even if the shape isn't 100% the same as the old one, it's very nice to see it return in a modern way. While I liked the Nexo Knight canopy shape a lot, this straight-end is more classic and also easier to use. The spaceship itself looks very good too. -
