  1. I'd like to see a 6 wide version of this However, this 6 wide window does exist, would like to see more uses in something like a helicopter/airplane/train.
  2. I think that's mainly "airmail" as it has wings. The other feather logo seems something global, of course could be newspaper as well, but feather/quill seems more like something handwritten like a Letter.
  3. I was more thinking of a Postage Stamp, which cost almost €1 nowadays, and the feather/quill is like a classic symbol for written letters, as LEGO sets had quill and ink before. Edit: But as been posted before, there's a "Citymail" logo on the Xtra sticker pack, and mail plane. Helicopter does look really good even while I'm not a huge fan of prefab cockpit, this new design does look fresh, and it doesn't use a prefab rear section. Yeah it's sold out in Europe Lego.com as a whole, but it's a fantastic value €15 set and with the polybag promotion is a good contender for sure.
  4. UCS Falcon price went up to £ 700 in UK (+£50) , but down to €800 (-€50) in Netherlands . (always was €800 in Germany already) So far that makes it the same price as the new AT-AT, and seems to confirm earlier reports of Western Europe price adjustments.
  5. A standalone bus set (like the Crane is just a vehicle by itself) would be the best option for sure.
  6. With price adjustments , looks like 10255: Assembly Square went up to €260 in Germany from €240. (was already €260 in NL) , and it went from £ 180 to £ 230 in UK.
  7. Looks like 31109: Pirate Ship went up to €120 in both NL and Germany (from €100) and up to £ 105 in UK. 10255: Assembly Square went up to €260 in Germany from €240. (was already €260 in NL) , up to £ 230 in UK. Many other 2020-2021 3-in-1 sets in The Netherlands (and perhaps Belgium and other countries) went down about €5-10, to be the same as the Germany prices.
  8. So it's 01-01-2022 now, and looks like Netherlands prices (and perhaps Belgium and other countries) of many existing 2020-2021 sets have gone down to match the german prices, which means €5-10 less in many cases, IDEAS Blacksmith reduced from €170 in NL to €150 which was the Germany price already. 2017 UCS Millennium Falcon was €850 in NL from 2017, but now is down to €800, however price increased from £ 650 to £ 700 in UK. Other increases in various countries: 10255: Assembly Square went up to €260 in Germany from €240. (was already €260 in NL) and it went from £ 180 to £ 230 in UK. 31109: Pirate Ship went up to €120. There are probably a lot more price changes.
  9. City/Friends polybag GWP promotion currently goes from 1-1 to 9-1 , so Chinese New Year likely the week after that, the sets will be available from 10-1 in North America.
  10. Hidden Side bus was probably the best set to mod a custom school bus for many passengers. However, next to City set buildings it would look enormous, and this is a kid's school so this City school bus still looks fine as-is to me. (but the 2020 Friends bus was even larger) A seperate School bus set would be nice as well in the future. I also wonder when there's a new regular Bus set, as the last regular bus was 2017, and there was a Tourist double-decker in 2018, and it's 2022 now, unless that rumoured $180 is a main square type of set, to replace 60271 (which is currently 30% off on LEGO.com)
  11. I had some experience with a small MEGA , Bestlock and Plusbricks(supermarket promotion brand). Best to worst : MEGA (small warcraft set Colton 2012) bricks were nice and textured and rounded corners made it look like castle wall, figure eventually snapped hands easily. Plusbricks, had some experience with some of the 2015 supermarket/farm promotion they had but while the idea was very nice , quality was still below MEGA. Bestlock, had some very cheap Police and Fire sets but quality/clutch/piece shape was really bad , can't remember what year it was but it was somewhere early 2010s. I can't say about any recent experience with other brands. Overall not enough to even bother mixing it with LEGO, but I also currently still have my old LEGO seperate from the newer stuff (got back into LEGO in 2016)
  12. Year of the Tiger GWP is probably released within 2 weeks since the New Year is February 1st. The reason I mention it because it's a GWP with a time limit that wouldn't make sense to be after February 1st.
  13. I wonder when the GWP 40491: Year of the Tiger will appear, hopefully before those sets are sold out. Chinese New Year 2022 is February 1st this year,. Year of the Ox promo was February, but the New Year was also later in the month at the 12th.
  14. Exactly this, multiple magazines (legacy and normal), books, video games, a movie, some big Ninjago City type sets (recently gardens) , 10 year anniversary golden figures celebration, 2021 Employee Gift etc. show it's one of the most dedicated LEGO themes ever that isn't licensed. Looking forward to see the next wave of sets 2nd half 2022.
  15. I don't think the classic concept of Zoo is coming (back) to LEGO. However, there are still Duplo sets with wild animals in 2019, they just aren't fenced in. Compared to 2012 Zoo : I'd like to see City do more Park, and Forest / Desert / Caves exploration/conservation.
  16. I wonder if the 2020 Chang'e 5 moon mission returning samples was inspiration for the Moon Cake set, it was the first sample return mission (1731 grams of lunar soil) since 1976. And City / Monkie Kid having both a rocket launch set doesn't seem cooincidence with Nasa / China having moon landings planned for 2024-2025. Chang'e (Goddess of the Moon) will also be another deity to have a minifigure, 2022 will also have Caishen , God of Prosperity in 80108 Lunar New Year Traditions I don't want to make LEGO political/religious here, but it's interesting how things come back in those sets.
  17. I think Friends started that in 2020 , I saw it in a review of 41393: Baking Competition I noticed a Monkie Kid set I built also had it for 2021. It's a pretty cool feature.
  18. That's an original way to add depth to background for sure, especially since those older hinged sets weren't that deep to begin with.
  19. Speaking of pickup trucks in 2022, is it me, or are those lights on the fire pickup box art wrong and right on the photo ? seems to be the white lights supposed to be above the direction lights
  20. 60315 keeps similar play features of previous mobile commands, but since LEGO has done the cab trucks in 2003 2008 2011 2014 2017 . The 2017 set was sold for a full 4 years, which is very very long for a City set that isn't a train or road baseplate. Farm version of Snake Rattler with mini tractor really makes me wonder about more farm sets, considering we also get horse set in 2022, eggs gotta come from somewhere too
  21. I hope that Lego will bring back this cockpit shape. Nexo Knight had one that was fairly similar but more pointed and only 1 color
  22. The sets beside the monorail were never even sold in Europe, a shame as it had cool sets. Maybe it was too similar to exploriens 1 year later? Anyway, cool remake.
  23. Looks very good for an alternate build.
  24. Put large plates on top of some round 1x1 studs or 2x2 round plate if you want to keep it intact on a non permanent setup.
