LEGO Hidden Side 2020
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ok, just saw the Castle, I love that it's 90% Grey ,as I intended to use it as my Nexo Knight Stone monster base and this does not disappoint at all, it even has blue decorations within the grey. I don't mind the tower being different at all, still looks great. It opens up on the front like Knighton Castle, which isn't a bad thing for interior access. -
LEGO Sci-Fi 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yeah, this is certainly shortly after City Space. The City Space Rover is actually called Rover Testing Drive and on the box it shows the City behind it so it's still on earth. The City Space Shuttle is actually on a mission at Mars , but I think at the time of 2019 City Space, they likely were planning to be able to launch heavier cargo like Rovers to the Moon and Mars (via the larger cargo rockets in those 2 large sets). This Creator Rover is a step upwards, it's larger and heavier, and we don't know if this is even on Mars. -
Could be 14 wide yes on the bottom plate using that 16x8 and 16x6 I spotted in the tavern (unless it's 2 16x6 with a 16x2, for symmetry, can't really see. But the 16 wide curved sails seem wider then the bottom ship so I doubt the ship is 16 wide at the bottom. Since those hull parts on other ships are 14 wide on the bottom I think it makes sense for this ship to be as well, but brick built inverted slopes instead.

This very much makes sense. Last year Ski Resort came out in September.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I know it's unrelated to Hidden Side, but hopefully that'll still give some chance for some more sets, especially City sets have some numbers listed out there, and we haven't seen a People Pack or "Town" set, yet, and in 2019, the Ski Resort came out September, and some June sets launched in August at different parts of the world. -
Yeah, I remember the small-set segment being very memorable, ever since the minifigure appeared many years ago there were many small boxed sets, I understand there are Polybags now, but they seem a lot harder to find here at least, only a small selection I can find in some stores if lucky. Beside Starter Set type boxes, 2018 was also the year for City to have those even smaller boxes that cost €6 here: Of course 2020 City still offers €10 box sets with 1-2 figures, but LEGO still moved toward 4-figure blister packs since 2019, which aren't bad, but they do cost €13 at LEGO.com here and they have smaller builds, compared to Starter Sets.

I meant the Pinning for Town and Special Themes forum, sorry if it wasn't clear. I just posted here, as it's a recent discussion about the state/improving the forum, and overall structure across more then just Historic. I'm not saying Town/Special would need a seperate MOC section, but pinning the 2020 theme threads would be a good start.

And Minecraft can cure zombie villagers with golden apples, they just haven't done that in a single set yet , the 2016 set came close with the red apple, villager and zombie villager. Of course LEGO Zombies could be cartoonish as well like they already did with something like the Cheerleader zombie. And I agree Hidden Side does add multiple heads for most of their possesed characters so it is already a theme where zombies can turn normal again. (by zapping them with whatever devices those vehicles have on them)

Most of those "Wild Mouse" type coasters use single carts unlike this IDEAS one. I remember the Copper Mine in Drievliet for example. That's how I'd use it at least, single "mine" carts. And the physics, the first drop really is tiny, so based on the first drop on the Pirate Roller Coaster, it likely won't make it to the second drop without an extra push. But that doesn't make this a bad IDEAS submission , I like the style a lot.

LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I actually skipped the City Rover and Shuttle (I got the 3in1 Shuttle from 2017) , but the City Space Station was unique in it's own way, and I love the 2020 Underwater base for similar reasons. But also already had lots of those wheels via Nexo Knights sets. Nexo Knights also had lots of other "Space" wheels in Gunmetal/Pearl Dark Grey 22 D x 24 mm wheels 54 D x 30 mm wheels Right now my sets are still on display, but I see the potential of making some late 80s, 90s inspired Space vehicles. -
THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
TeriXeri replied to Another Brick In The Wall's topic in LEGO Pirates
I still really want this set but will wait for it to come off backorder + possibly double VIP or a Gift with Purchase (something bigger then a polybag at least) -
MOC in seperate sections would help, or at the very least consider Pinning more recent theme discussions. Especially for the Town and Special Theme forum, the pinned threads there as dating back to 2008-2012. I've seen the discussions about City/Speed Champions/ Friends/Creator/DOTS 2020 etc. fall to another page so sometimes a duplicate topic gets made as a result, while they are pinned on other forum sections like the Action forum as example.

COVID-19 and will it impact Lego's profits?
TeriXeri replied to AMD's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Interesting article about re-opening of LEGO store in Germany https://www.promobricks.de/lego-brand-stores-corona-krise/99437/ No Pick-a-Brick or Build-a-Minifigure, and Minifigure Series 20 is pre-sorted. -
And that's a good thing, while I liked Nexo Knights , it barely had any locations because they literally "forced" every knight to have vehicles.

Yes it's 22 now and no more duplicates, might have been a bug.

LEGO Sci-Fi 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I'd prefer Neon-Orange as well, I got mostly Nexo Knight parts so I can make some spaceships at some point when I decide to MOC them. Of course, I realize the shape won't be the same as the original theme, as they don't make the old school shape anymore. I didn't have many Ice Planet sets but back in the 90s, I did have an Aquasharks submarine I used those 2 windscreens (neon orange with a sharkface and opaque black) all the time in MOCs , combined with Classic Space parts from sets like 928. -

Ninjago Fire Stone mech has a trans-orange windscreen on it's chest of similar shape. but orange. -
That makes 22 at 10000, didn't even fit on the page and a see more button appeared Well, it says 22, but somehow Untitled Goose Game is listed twice. 2 more projects from 1-2 month ago already at 9k+

Such a good wave of sets, even better combined. The Mech doesn't have side builds so it's sort of optional for the Board game but I still love the color scheme and parts/figures for it. The orange parts of Fire/Lava below the Skull are nice, and not just box-artwork, it does make it look more complete, and gives a reason to actually climb up via the sides, much like Jestro's Lava Lair had lava flowing through the middle. And a cohesive color scheme on the structures is nice for MOCs.
