  1. I'm certainly interested to see what the Creator 3-in-1 Pirate Ship set will bring in term of parts to expand on the Pirate Barracuda Set. Also gives me a good reason to take apart some older 2016-2019 sets (mostly 3-in-1 sets).
  2. Bowser Looks good , sure, but not my high priority compared to other themes.
  3. That large ship on the painting, The Royal Charles, was actually stolen that night in 1667 during the raid on Chatham, and taken back to The Netherlands , but because it was so big(for it's time period), too big for good use in shallow Dutch waters, was actually used as a drydocked party ship from 1667-1673, and then scrapped.
  4. Also here's a painting from ships of the same era (17th century) showing English fleet ships having bright yellow all over it as well : Peter van der Velde (1667-1700)-‘the burning of the English fleet for Chatham June 20, 1668’-oil on panel
  5. Some good photos here : https://www.trip.com/travel-guide/amsterdam/het-scheepvaartmuseum-78657/
  6. I don't mind the yellow or other bright colors on the ship at all, the Replica of the Amsterdam has Yellow, Red and Green all over it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amsterdam_(1748)
  7. Price to piece count varies so much across the sets in this theme, I don't think basing the entire theme on 1 set is a viable conclusion. Lots of large pieces in this starter set + prints and the large Electronic component. Price to volume ratio is a more interesting way to compare, but we need pictures of the other sets for that. Especially 71362 , 71363 , 71369 have more normal piece counts for their prices, so I hope there's a chance for system/minifig scale sets out there as well.
  8. Congrats @povoq, certainly a set I'd want on shelves. Getting an error page on that link , project removed?
  9. City also has Airport sets this year, this could be a passenger with the bag print.
  10. The Records logo certainly looks great at that scale Love the interior colors / parts as well.
  11. Certainly can see the Diver helmets getting used in a Sci-Fi (Space or Cave Explorers etc) situation, at the very least by MOCs. Or as specialized Fireman/Hazmat/Rescue workers. Just as the 2019 City Space helmets can be used for underwater scenes, even LEGO themselves used those parts before in a different color in the Atlantis theme.
  12. Hopefully those parts stay available for a long time.
  13. + the 3-in-1 Creator ship might be an extra "Test" case, before a full revive.
  14. Awesome polybag for sure. Great White Shark looks nice as well. Hope that underwater subtheme also shows up in more then just regular sets like Space last year. 2019 Space had : Polybag 2 different City Magazine Gifts 4-minifig Blister pack People Pack Space Research City Magazine #3 has a mini-construction vehicle, but I think that won't be out till mid or late May here , current issue #2 (Fireman+drone) comes out April 16 so probably later then some other countries. City Issue # 3 already shows on Brickset : .
  15. The old Divers ray was closer in a design to a Cownose Ray or Eagle Ray, rather then a Manta, as it has no huge open mouth but a pointy head. That said, I like the new one as well, I do like the addition of Studs.
  16. Agreed it's much worse then this one that wasn't listed yet : https://brickset.com/sets/70593-1/The-Green-NRG-Dragon
  17. So this thread been buried a bit, since the Fiat 500 last month. Lots of talk about the 3in1 Pirate Ship over at the Pirates forum as well. I am certainly still interested in the other 2 Summer sets. €80 Caravan and €50 Rover , and larger Creator sets have more potential for great alternate builds. Hopefully we'll see pictures in April.
  18. Certainly can see them make more Pirates sets, personally hope the Soldier hat on the skeleton and Islanders statue head are hints for more. This year still has the Creator set as well, which at €100 is the largest 3-in-1 set in years, and so far the larger 3-in-1 sets have great alternate build potential.
  19. Instantly recognizable. Great details everywhere.
  20. Mail / Package delivery truck certainly fits in the current age of ordering many things (online). More food trucks are always nice, a Bakery/Pretzel Van can certainly can work, as those LEGO minifig food items already exist : baguette/croissant/pretzel/coffee cup/cupcake/pie/donut/waffle. Airport Firetruck are certainly unique of enough to be made in another set, the last one was in 2014, and 2006. My country just got new ones this month : The 8 wheeled ones are for Schiphol, the 6 wheeled ones for Lelystad/Rotterdam. Interesting feature include a drill to take care of the inside of the airplane (comparable to a sprinkler in a building).
