It's weird, because the Summer Play cubes were just added to Shop@home in my country 2 days ago here (listed as Coming Soon September 1 here), and the one with Emma is missing once again. 41410-41413 are on there, but https://brickset.com/sets/41414-1/Emma-s-Summer-Play-Cube is missing. So now both Emma's Jungle and Summer Cubes are not on there. Almost makes me wonder if LEGO is going to introduce a new character or something instead.

I don't see this set 41438 listed anywhere, usually when a set* is sold somewhere in the world, some end up on bricklink/ebay, but this one never appeared on any of my known webshops. The digital instructions are still on LEGO.com but I haven't seen any info on the set in a physical form.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Maybe I'm biased, having experienced Town before and during the 90s, but I never liked those brick-thick vehicle parts. 4+ sets do have some interesting aspects like printed pieces (except the headlights imo), but personally I just don't like the large/thick premade pieces like this , too similar to Town Jr. or And while larger premade chassis pieces aren't new to LEGO, even the new plate chassis is more useful(for MOCs etc) imo. The downside that's still there however, is that the wheel type and position is still predetermined, but from the age 5+ cars that have used it, they look a lot nicer then the 4+ imo. That said, 4+ sets do have a market segment, and I can see the appeal to kids that want a simple build that doesn't fall apart in 100 pieces if played with. But so far I personally haven't been interested in any of the 4+ sets. -
Journey to the Dungeons was like €15 for weeks in NL/Germany right after it's release while it's a €25-30 set , so it does happen that new sets can go on sale fast. Some sets go on sale faster then others, even within the same wave of sets, Mino Beast and Fire Stone Mech have smaller % discount here compared to the rest. But then there are themes like Monkie Kid with no sale at all as it's LEGO exclusive.

In the last years I only had 1 case of a missing piece, where there was 1 piece missing, but there also was a piece included that otherwise doesn't belong to the set. In other cases, often it may look like there's a piece missing, but it either fell on the floor, or didn't leave the bag properly.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
There already is a topic for City ideas / wishlists : But here's my take about 2021 , not a wishlist, but based on City subthemes that do appear every 3-4 years. Police: likely would be a themed outdoor Police wave (2012/2015/2018 all had Forest / Swamp / Mountain Police 1 year after regular City Police), with a mix of land/air/water vehicles. Fire: probably gets something like a larger Boat as that hasn't been seen for a while and the small 2019 Dockside Fire boat is on a retiring list. Construction: 2009/2012/2015/2018 all had construction themed sets with Construction , Mining, Demolition, and Mining again on a 3 year cycle Coast Guard: 2013/2017 had coast guard , and that could go along with the current Divers/Ocean Research sets. And sometimes fairly similar themes 5-6 years as well : Ocean Exploration: appeared in 2015, and 2020 - 5 year gap Mining appeared in 2012 and 2018 - 6 year gap , Construction/Demolition 2009 and 2015 - both had 6 year gaps, or alternating every 3 years. Forest and Mountain Police were quite similar 2012 and 2018 - 6 year gap Swamp Police came out in 2015 , Prison Island came out 2016, and based on the 2020 Elite Police vehicle style, maybe 2021 will be some Water based Police type again, which would go alongside Coast Guard and the 2020 Ocean sets. At the very least a Dockside Police Station, and a larger Police Boat. Harbor was last seen as a theme in 2011, would be 10 years in 2021, I think Harbor didn't appear in 2016 (5 year gap) since there already were quite a few water-based sets in that year, but 2021 might be a water-based year of sets, also remember all those water-based sets came out 1 year after the last Ocean theme of 2015. -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Until there's real news of a set number list or something, there's not much to discuss in a 2021 topic. It would likely just turn into wishlisting but there's the ideas for new City sets already for that. My predicitions for 2021 (not a wishlist, just based on set release patterns every 3-4 years). Police: likely would be a themed outdoor Police wave (2012/2015/2018 all had Forest / Swamp / Mountain Police 1 year after regular City Police), with a mix of land/air/water vehicles. But the late 2020 Elite Police lighthouse/boat sets could also indicate another water-based Police (Prison Island/Harbor Police?) Fire: probably gets something like a larger Boat as that hasn't been seen for a while and the small 2019 Dockside Fire boat is on a retiring list. Construction: 2009/2012/2015/2018 all had construction themed sets with Construction , Mining, Demolition, and Mining again on a 3 year cycle Coast Guard: 2013/2017 had coast guard , and that could go along with the current Divers/Ocean Research sets. -
I'm okay with no moving parts in this case, if it means the animal gets to exist at all, using an already existing design. I'm not sure if the antler piece is moulded or glued on (don't have the harry potter version), but I read it's a different material. Of course a moving head would be nice on a future variant of such animal. As for moving legs, really would depend on the type of animal, I see it more important for larger animals, but old horses didn't have moving legs either so I'm fine with that.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
True, Nexo Knights tv show ended after 2017, or set wave 4 , and countries that didn't have the paper magazine had almost no explaination/story about the last tech-vampire wave (set wave 5) But at least I gotta admit, the Nexo magazine tried to have at least some ending and reference to the sets in the 2018 issues (9 magazines total) But again, since those magazines are printed by regional publishers (under license of LEGO), they don't appear worldwide. I don't collect the Hidden Side magazine myself so maybe someone could see if there'll be an ending there eventually. -
Certainly a useful mould for multiple purposes , regular animal, santa reindeer, or fantasy/forestmen mount. It's a start, but I do hope it'll appear more often from now on, and not be like horses and appear very rarely in the last few years.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

That looks nice indeed, certainly useful for a Santa reindeer, or Forest(men) animal, since a saddle or sled can be attached via the gap in the back. -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
For a town hall type building,70425-1: Newbury Haunted High School would be a much better alternative, while it's still available, even uses the same color scheme (just leave off some stickers and the green parts). I feel the set overall could easily be split in different sets : Pop Stage + Limo Tram + Stop Townhall + Park + Burger Bar But I know the purpose of those sets likely is to be some gift-pack so kids have an all-in-one scene to play with multiple people with, it even says "build together". Conclusion, not a bad set, but just doesn't appeal me 100% for that price, I'd rather get some 3-in-1 buildings or Friends etc. , and then Xtra theme sets like plants and stickers could be used to expand that. -
Sounds like 2 robot-like characters, maybe 2 piloted mechs that can combine into a single build. A steampunk/scrapyard type ninjago wave would be cool, 2020 already had cyberpunk or legacy nindroids, so something not-so high tech could be somewhat refreshing.

Even with buildings included, €180 is just way to steep when you can get multiple 3-in-1 buildings or a Modular instead. Vehicles are less of my interest here. -
I think it's way too early for a Arctic (2018) , or Jungle (2017) wave again. I'd think Arctic could be possible in 2022 (4 year gap like 2014-2018), and Jungle maybe in 2023 (5 year gap between the 2 Ocean exploration waves). Like sure, Arctic has plenty of explore, like more focus on Antarctica and Orca/Penguin/Seals, and Jungle as well can have many new types of birds land or water animals. For 2021 , I'd much rather see something like Savannah (Elephant / Zebra / Giraffe), Desert (Fennek / Camel / Oryx), Mountains/Highlands (Camel / Ibex / Condor) , animals are just examples. Or Cave Exploration / Tunnel construction if it has to be more industrial.

For Euro prices in my counrty. Hogwarts (licensed) was 7.5 cent a piece at ~6000 pieces Taj Mahal was 5.9 cent a piece at ~5900 pieces Old Trafford was 6.9 cent a piece at ~3900 pieces So this set if it had 9000 pieces, probably would end up around €550 - €650, possibly more depending on the true scale of course.- 259 replies

That's what I thought, with a little imagination in the Mail Plane set it could be a (very generic) white mail pigeon. Also I'd love to see a printed parrot using the classic colors but using the new/current large beak mould, but I understand LEGO hasn't made printed parrots since 2002(legends). Of course dual moulded parrots are nice as well, so far 3 newer large beak variants with red/green blue/yellow and coral/turquoise, maybe a lime green parrot could work as well. LEGO does make various printed owls, so a parrot with prints should be possible, but might be complex?

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I liked them too, got all the sets and magazines from that wave, and it was a nice source of golden, and trans-bright green parts and nice figures, and some unique moulds. LEGO was in the process of changing it's Pearl Gold color during 2018/2019 so some parts look a bit inconsistent. I do hope Hidden Side gets a proper ending wave however, and not just story only roughly explained a magazine comic. -
I'd like to see IDEAS to be split in a Licensed and Unlicensed section, maybe that's some way to cope with the amount of 10k. Also would be more clear on figure colors, as I still see non-licensed submissions using fleshies, which might keep some voters away, from traditional themed ideas (Space/Castle/Pirates etc) , even if LEGO can change the final design.

Re-labeled Non-US Sets Being Sold in the US
TeriXeri replied to Vorkosigan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
US/Canada regulations are to show the piece count and warning labels on the box. Normally it's printed on there, but this certainly is a way to allow the (V29) sets to be sold in North America, especially if it were already produced beforehand. Basicly there are 2 versions of many sets a V29 worldwide version, and a V39 US/Canada market version. -
I'd like to see some motorcross or superbike racing type sets. Even if the racing bikes use stickers for branding, still could bring some nice new colors and racing figures. Motorcross set could have some dirt ramps, and the superbike set could have a start/finish line or checkered flag + podium, or pit-stop. I know motorcycles haven't been that rare in City and other themes lately, 2017 Jungle, 2018 Police offroad, 2019 Fire/Police, 2020 Police/garage and other themes, but getting more bikes in €10-€20 sized sets is always nice, especially if it's a new color. Also hopefully the new 2020 motorcycle frame will appear more in small sets and colors in the future.

42108 availability
TeriXeri replied to trinitechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sets for the North American market come from the Mexico Factory, which has had a closure due to Covid. US/Canada sets have different boxes (Piece count is mandatory), and different safety warnings, so they can't just simply ship the rest of the sets to North America , also different size of paper for the manuals Even LEGO.com publishes 2 different variants of it's online instructions V29 and V39 -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I always figured the bird could be a white pigeon in the 2020 mail plane, it's simple, but for now, it's the closest to one. Now of course a more realistic pigeon could work, but this bird is included in both minifig and minidoll sets from 2019 onward so it's a bit more generic. As for the bird being small, compared to the seagull mould, city pigeons are quite a bit smaller then the larger seagulls I often see. Only exception would be the wood pigeon is larger then a black-headed gull. -

Agree that wave was weird, but still had some cool sci-fi parts in the Berserker Bomber and Twinfector.
