  1. If you're not sure how much to make RC, just start with drive and steering. From there, add more RC functions as you feel comfortable. I have been building with Lego since I was three, and with Technic for about 8 years, but have only just started adding RC gearboxes, winches, and the like. Do what you are able. As you gain skill, your models will become more complex.
  2. Great job for your 1st trial truck! IMO, you could increase the speed a bit, but it has good performance. And your photography is excellent.
  3. Beautiful pyramid, the stonework is excellent! But those trees are just awesome!
  4. You burned out the IR receiver?! What were you doing?! Let us know, so we don't make the same mistake. But cool functions.
  5. Just one question: HOW?! I don't even build that big in my dreams! Incredible build, I am awed at the strength of your actuators, they aren't even bending in the photos... My mind has been blown by your work here.
  6. Wow. Nice work here. I will have to try building this version.
  7. Beautiful....Simply amazing, its so flexible! The ability to pose this machine in so many positions is great.
  8. Let the battles begin! May the cheaters and bad guys WIN!!! *Insert maniacal laugh* This is gonna be a great contest. Good luck to everyone!
  9. Great! Thanks for sharing, and thanks to Blakbird for all his (and yours) effort! Happy New Year!
  10. Now we know why Vader's always breathing so hard! This great, the movements are so fluid.
  11. Ah, yes. I hate that. Try it with an S-Brick. But if you don't have one, it does help if you try to film on a cloudy day. Or in the shade. I will hopefully buy an S-Brick when (if ever ) I get the funds.
  12. Wow! That is awesome. Great functions, but, IMO, change the XL gearing to knob wheels for 1:1 ratio. It would probably improve the driving capabilities. But overall, this is one of the best models I've seen. Can't wait for the instructions!
  13. Great to see an Exo-Force model. The wing function is cool.
  14. The sub and spaceship are great, but that bike... Do have more pics of it from other angles?
  15. Wow. Nice teepee...or pointed house. Looks great, but, IMO, you need a bit more on the base, the mostly flat dark green just looks too plain. Perhaps add another color, some rocks, plants...
  16. I received these tires for Christmas, they are quite sticky, look great, and can climb snow/ice pretty well. (Will test on rocks ASAP) They fit tightly on the 44772 rims, with slight bulging on the sides. Which may help with crawling. I'll try to post pics soon, possibly on a completed crawler.
  17. Nice 4x4 MOC! Good crawling capabilities, but IMO, the suspension seems inadequate for the climbing you attempted. The red/yellow/black color scheme looks nice.
  18. Great MOC! I like how you added steering as well, sets this sleigh apart. Merry Christmas!
  19. Nice! I like the round base on the pillar.
  20. Awesome! I would love to have that on display on my shelf... Will make others, or just the one?
  21. That is an impressive demonstration of climbing ability! I understand the need to sacrifice ground clearance, IMO its totally worth it here.
  22. That is really cool! The suspension is great, though I would have liked to see a video... Good work!
  23. Nice shaping on the hedgehog crawler, the independent steering is a great idea. The unusual motor orientation of the chick crawler is a good way to make a short chassis. Good work on both.
  24. Great build LJ! The window bars are great, and the base is cool. Just one thing, the stream needs to be a lighter blue, IMO. It seems to close to the roof's color.
