  1. Thanks Pvdb- means a lot coming from another designer ;) all I’ve got is this from some early version of the framework: From drawing to reality by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Yeah - all the chrome will be switched with grey or LBG colour for the parts list. Unfortunately I do not have enough parts in those color for the swap. Thanks Nerds for Pres!! The swap to motorless is easy, none of the motors are load bearing so they can either be installed or not. The placement of rhr servo at the back was a super setup as I can remove the servo and place an HOG without changing the design. Yes those are buckets for diffusers and pneumatic hose for tubing - nice catch!! Hey! Sorry, not entering. Been very busy this year with a new job and my 2 boys growing older. Thanks for the comments ? Sure did!! PN 2999 - the most uselessly perfect peice for the part. Wow honoured guys. It’s been a great working on a second mustang and such an iconic one that Ken drives. Once this is done onto a Nissan GT-R - a very complex design for sure.
  2. Hello All - I would like to share my latest build - Ken Block's 1,400bhp Hoonicorn Mustang V2! Exclusive 2 insta @loxlego by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Ford Mustang Hoonigan nation - outdoor shots - follow @loxlego by lachlan cameron, on Flickr When I say that this is the absolute most frightening thing ever driven, I’m not exaggerating. At all.In the words of TG’s good friend Ken Block - ”This beast is an upgraded iteration of his crushingly fast, four-wheel-drive 1965 Hoonicorn Ford Mustang RTR.” Meet the Hoonicorn V2. By adding two turbos to that monster 6.7-litre Roush Yates V8, It manages to churn out 1,400bhp at the crank. Ford Mustang Hoonigan nation - outdoor shots - follow @loxlego by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This model RC Technic MOC comes loaded with options: Red shifter switches high / low speed, 4wd, V8, working steering wheel and steering, opening hood trunk doors, 8 lights, brand new in-board suspension - single spring without torsion bar... chrome all over - Available in manual, 2 Buggy motors or 2 Xl motors and 2 buwizz. Ford Mustang Hoonigan- engine bay by lachlan cameron, on Flickr A huge shout out to the team at @buwizz_brick who made an amazing upgrade to their software - making it absolutely the most powerful battery and software of choice!! This hoonicorn RIPS due to the ludicrous mode on buwizz, and has 4 different settings from Slow to Ludicrous that really make this car an 8 speed machine. 3. Wow. That video was delightfully entertaining. I used to love red alert - a staple of the 90s. Great recreation !
  4. wow I really like it! Great performance and nice detail on that scale. Like the black and white color scheme => well done!
  5. Great design and nice mods!! For your first supercar I think you’ve done a smashing good design. I’m especially fond of the rear suspension and how you’ve fit it all so compactly in a small scale. 1 Buwizz would work well to get more performance out if it, great work
  6. Really brilliant functions and design Paul! The F-N-R is in the perfect location and everything seems so well thought out. Love it!
  7. Really great moc Paul! So many unique features and design choices. Looks very ridged and well built - my favourite photo is the last one - like father like son
  8. Thanks @nerdsforprez - Cheers @KD123! Definitely an odd share to the car in so many areas. Yellow was actually a good colour to use as it had just enough connectors to add shape - unlike the lack of connectors in Dark azure or dark blue. The medium sized panels on this car aren’t avail in blue unfortunately, otherwise I believe all other parts are avail. I wish I could have done it in the original blue! This car can however be built in white or black.
  9. There aren’t many outrageously aggressive road-legal track-day cars that are made in America, but there are a few. One of them is the new Rezvani Beast. The body itself is a combination of mean looks and aerodynamic dominance that provides just the right amount of downforce to keep this 500-horse “beast” on all fours. The body is designed specifically to allow air flow from the front air intakes, through the front wheel wells, into the inlets for the engine intake, and finally out the diffuser in the rear. The car distinguishes itself from all others with the sidewinder doors. Rezvani Beast Alpha by lachlan cameron, on Flickr You may be wondering why I designed this car with such complicated features, in yellow with such limited parts? Well, this is the last supercar I had on my list with an outrageous door. I have been on a mission to create as many different doors with RC over the years and this one I have contemplated designing since the beginning. The shape of the car did seem similar to some Technic pieces and I was totally up to the challenge to design working RC sidewinder doors. (which were extremely difficult BTW) Exclusive 2 - Rezvani Beast Alpha - sticker pack by @mlinestickers by lachlan cameron, on Flickr After many failed attempts at the doors, the body work and the whole car in general, I was about to give up. Many times through the build. Most poeple that saw the WIP photos kept wonder 1 thing.... why is this guy still building this car?! It is a true labour of love to start and finish a 1:8 supercar. To all the builder and MOCers out there I want to remind you, even when things are getting too tough to move on, remember this is Lego after all and anything is possible! Rezvani Beast Alpha by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This scale model sports 2 RC sidewinder doors each controlled by their own M-motors, 2 XL-motors for drive, 1 servo motor for steering, 14 PF lights total, 1 Lipo battery, 1 Sbrick to power all the functions with your phone, 5 inline engine, working steering wheel, F1 style pushrod suspension front and rear, opening hood and engine lid. The aggressive styling and complex design was a real challenge. Check out @rezvanimotors and like them on instagram and facebook. 10. You’ve done a fantastic job fitting some very nice functions into this good looking car. Very well done!!
  11. Hi Bruno! I just checked your video, it says it has been removed. Do you plan on re-uploading it? Looking forward to your RC version
  12. Looks amazing Efferman! Very complex outriggers for sure. So many creative solutions - well done!
  13. Wow that’s wonderful. Full instructions as well?!? Great compact design
  14. I've seen some progress photos from @KD123 and I totally agree, wonderful MOC! I really don't understand the gearbox still and for that reason alone I think its fantastic Definitely looking forward to your next build!
  15. Hey all! The instructions are complete. Check it out if you're interested! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-17698/Loxlego/lamborghini-aventador-svj-roadster/ Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster - Chrome parts by lachlan cameron, on Flickr You can find all of the chrome parts you see above at Bubul bricklink store - great price and selection- If you would like a custom chrome part made - Bubul is happy to chrome the part you need. 16. Very nice power and design. I most of all like the video! Great clips and music. Keep rockin !
  17. Hey! Yes definaltey will be making instructions. And I have a feeling this one has like 90% of the same parts as the Eleanor
  18. This build is a real eye catcher. It immediately looks like the car you’re trying to mimic - in great detail. I find your story close to mine 3 years back when I got into it again. Technic had come such a far way from my early memories and more complicated designs are now attainable. If this is your first model after returning from the dark ages my gosh what’s next!
  19. Hey Aventador! The first photo was a portrait shot that I took and it blurred rear wing. Hey Bruno! Thanks for your comments. The car is very close to the real car, as seen below. Many cars have a much smaller wheel compared to the rest of the car, so it may seem it’s too high but it’s actually to scale. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster- photo overlay by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This car was definitely me stretching the limits of design and styling. I try to create different styles in ways that haven’t been done before, even if it may stray from the original design a bit. Cheers mate - was stoked the rear lights fit the size and requirements. 20. You’re looking at the Aventador SVJ Roadster, the ultimate V12 Lambo and currently the fastest production car around the mighty Nurburgring. Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-17698/Loxlego/lamborghini-aventador-svj-roadster/ Exclusive 1 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Unveiled at the start of the Monterey car week, Lamborghini’s new flagship focuses on three things; aerodynamics, lightweight construction and increased power – and it features one of the biggest wings we’ve seen on a factory spec car. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster- engineering meets art by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This supercar features rear wheel drive, a mighty V12 with blue pistons, launch control , 2 speed selector, front lights, 2 XL motors for drive, 2 M-motors hidden in the framework for each lambo door, 2 Lipo batteries, 2 Sbricks, servo motor for steering, torsion bar suspension, opening hood and engine cover, and loaded with chrome as far as the eye can see. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster- interior by lachlan cameron, on Flickr A huge shout out to @DugaldIC, @KD123 and Ilea Alex for ideas, suggestions and help throughout the build. Desert sky - red chrome - Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I have purchased all these awesome chrome rims, actuators and more from Bubul chrome shop - the best prices and quality! Check out his store here: https://store.bricklink.com/Bubul Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster- exposed by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Regarding the 2 speed, this is a very large car and it puts a bit of strain on the drive system. If you move the car slowly at first to pickup speed, the gearing works. If you slam drive on full the clutch gear can slip. I will be creating instructions for a direct drive option if you want top speed with 2 buwizz :) Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster- red chrome for miles by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster - Custom MOC by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster - Custom MOC by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  21. Lovely Model @Sariel! The shaping, proportion and color selection are tops! Video was really great, I agree with other as you've found a nice way of blending clips together that catch the eye. I was extremely surprised to 4 Buggy's! Can't wait for the next one.
  22. My gosh this is next level. I’ve been soaking in this build over the past few days and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. I think the part that may be overlooked most is the fact this thing is modular, and to me that represents one of the the biggest challenges with a heavily functioning and highly detailed car like this. it’s awsome to see @Thorsten50 making instructions again! The door and lift mechanism are tops imo. Keep up the great work @brunojj1 - I always admire your design process and patience! Well done!
  23. This is a very creative design! It may not have perfect shaping, but the originality is definitely showing through. Keep progressing and building!
  24. Wow congrats! Love it, great lines throughout. A well deserved best of class too. Keep it up!
  25. Great photos and nice to see someone else went all out with the chrome! Thanks for sharing @AFOLegofan66
