  1. Hi Guys, Sorry if this is the wrong area to discuss, but how do you add a youtube video to this forum so it has the screen shot, not just a hyper link?
  2. Wow, incredible attention to detail!!! This is a fantastic, well thought out model tha seems perfect scale in all ways. Colour combo is awesome. Thanks for sharing!!
  3. 99% lego, the Sbrick is not lego This is a fantastic looking and driving supercar. The interior has very fluid and original lines and panel choices. Absolutely pro build all over, thank you for sharing, and best of all thank you for the instructions! That must take so much time to develop. Now is the time to go buy 2 extra L motors, 2 S bricks, and 2 battery packs!
  4. I thought the first photo was a 3D render
  5. I tried to create a better looking back end to this car. That was difficult due to all of the batteries, motors etc. Anyway, here is the revised rear end and video below: VIdeo:
  6. That is original! How do you tilt it just enough to turn, but not flip over?
  7. Inspired by the classic 300SL. I started by developing a custom framework with 2 l-motors for drive and a narrower chassis with a nimble turning radius. All of the classic features were motorized with the Lego power functions. Gull-Wing Doors: Front end with Benz logo: Frame: Video: Once the whole car was built, it turns out the gearing was incorrect and because of the weight, the vehicle wouldn't drive. So I had to tear down the car to the main frame work and rebuild. Now the gearing is reliable and more support was added to the back end.
  8. Thanks for the constructive criticism meatman. It helps me develop my want to replicate a better model. Regarding the Gearbox, you simply wait for 2 clicks and the engine is in gear again. The first click releases the gear, the second engages.
  9. I had some difficulty in creating a working scissor door for my car and wanted to share the design. With this design it seems you could motorize the doors as well. Are there other ways that you know of to create scissor doors?
  10. So nice!! One question tho, I notice many cars with nothing covering the front wheels. Wouldn't it be look nicer with a full hood covering them?
  11. Don't bother with these comments bb8, just keep building and have fun
  12. how many millions of dollars are in these photos? Lego must be rich
  13. Really clean, everything seemed to have a place. All that food is making me hungry! Thanks for posting
  14. Hi, see below for the underside. The power functions are 1 servo for steering, 1 L-motor for the drive, 1 m-motor for the transmission, 2 sets of power function lights (front and rear), 2 IR receivers.
  15. Another MOC built with my bro :) I had some difficulty in creating a working scissor door for my car and wanted to share the design. With this design it seems you could motorize the doors as well. custom scissor doors! ;)
  16. This is awesome! I love the bucket seats, seems a lot of this car is quite different than your average model.
  17. Very nice! I also really like the Color combo.
  18. Well done! Looks very proportionate. Does the engine and truck open? I like the curved top you created..
  19. That is solid! I like the double gearing for the XL motors, I'm assuming so the gears don't grind? Also, recreating the same tilted top is a cool feature. What siZe tires are those? Thanks for sharing
  20. Agreed! Would love to see how this was put together. It seems no piece was out of place, each one well thought out for function and Aesthetics
  21. Not at all Sylvian, I really like this forum, seems everyone genuinely discusses ideas, improvements and challenges.
