  1. I was a silent follower of this project , until now I am Speechless. What an amazing car.!! Congrats!! Realy like the front and how everything flows there. The lack of a structure on the windscreen could be a "con" but Its a matter of taste . Defintely, watching the final result and how you made it in 1 month (!) push me to finish my project. Keep it up Dugal! and of course HOF
  2. Huge amount of Connector #3 in white and 7L thin liftarm on a new SW set. Check the link below http://www.brickfanatics.co.uk/official-images-revealed-for-lego-star-wars-75191-jedi-starfighter-with-hyperdrive/
  3. it is mind-blowing how smooth is the whole system, especially with just one motor. Definitely following this. Also looking how you have got the Siege Tank mechanisms, wondering if you have in mind building a Thor in the future
  4. I think We should not be so worried about those prices being final. Just look at the SRP 1H 2017 sets on the Toy Fair: 42066 - 160USD 42065 - 100USD 42064 - 120USD 42063 - 60USD Basically a ~20% higher than the actual retail price or even more if we compare with bricklink and so on. So I guess the Retail price of 42070 could be 220USD (On par of the latest flagships) 42069 140USD and 42068 80USD (a Price per piece similar to 42064)
  5. Amazing job as usual! The cars are very beautiful . I really like how you used some panels upside-down on the sides and the way how you achieved those sleek lines, especially in.... Every angle Watching the video of manual version, in 0:25 when you open the door, the panel #1 makes a small and smooth horizontal transition. Do you put a soft shock absorber as part of a lock system? If so, it's pretty ingenious Is so great to see how turns your initial shifter concept and manual chassis Ps. The models should be in the HOF right now
  6. Thanks for the review. From a Technic perspective it's not interesting, even I could say that the best thing of this set is the re introduction of the rare and expensive 9L beam in orange
  7. The search ship 42064 has 6 of those panels in white You are not the only one and definitely the way how the designer achieved that, will be a big plus on the building experience. The only thing that worries me, is the friction caused by many gears. ____ The 42069 is growing on me. If this set combines some of the best features of 8297 and 8466, definitely will be one of the most interesting technic set. The problem is the color scheme as 42070
  8. @allanp you nailed it. But I guess that is too early to give some conclusions about 42070 and 42069, because we still have to see the functions and building experience. Seems like the 42070 has the curved 3x13 panel in black for mudguards, it was just available in uncommon colors as bright green, orange, purple and blue . Finally
  9. Personally I love the Jim's reviews, with those amazing pictures, also he have help me to buy some sets. So I was a bit sad because December has ended and the 42053 is still missing. That's all. I am not disappointed by the Reviewer's and EB credibility as nguyengiangoc, though it's his opinion and point of view. So @suffocation, I don't pretended to be disrespectful as you thought @LucyCol Don't worry, obviously we understand that reviewers are volunteers and have an own life as everybody and we appreciate the effort behind scenes. Anyway, I guess that your last sentence - about reviews, joining the Academy and such - is not necessary as it doesn't help to this discussion.
  10. RIP December, RIP 42053 review
  11. The model itself is not bad. It has more functions and many useful white pieces, that's right. The problem is basically the inconsistent design with those big holes and exposed gears on the middle. Exposed gears in a model is not bad thing , just in 42025 this is not so well executed IMO
  12. Agree with you, @nguyengiangoc, the building experience looks pretty good and complex. Also there are some crazy use of pieces. Even I had to go back in the video to watch again some structures. Beside that, the jet is beautiful! Here we can see why Milan said in the interview that Markus Kossman is an expert building aircrafts It also makes me wonder what was thinking TLG to approve the final design of 42025
  13. Speed Build of 42064. It has many interesting pieces and the price tag is amazing. The model looks good. I am just disappointed by the functions. They are too simple for a 1300 pieces set
  14. @brunojj1 you could follow the speed build video from AustriaLegoFan
  15. ? It was already posted by the original creator MOC - UBOAT Type XIV Milch Cow
  16. I guess AOW is trying to say that, this time, the reviews are quite simple compared with the previous one. I suppose that it's related with the few appearances of hamsters @AOW, keep in mind that those sets are not spectacular in looks and functionality, so the review may look simple or worse compared with others where the set deserve it . Also, the Sariel's job is to do a neutral review according to the set features. So it's not a Sariel fault.
  17. According to an interview, Milan is the designer of the RC Tracker 42065 Interview Also this pic show us another inside view
  18. Wow! What a beautiful and detailed bike! Congrats for creating such amazing MOC! Hope to see it soon in TLCB and HOF
  19. I'm a bit late, but what a good looking car ! About bonnet, I prefer the previous version. As other said, those extra panels creates weird gaps and shapes. Also seems like the small panels are not fixed hehe About redesigning the body work, sounds like a good alternative, the only concern is how a less paneling styke would look with the wheel arches. I mean, and as Bruno said, the new panels don't make things easier. Another possibility is - and correct me if it couldn't work - using a black chassis instead LBG to "hide" the gaps and emphasize the orange lines of the previous bonnet. it's something that you can notice in the Pagani Huayra by Francisco Hartley
  20. @brunojj1 It looks interesting. Nice idea "splitting" and connecting both shifters with the central knob instead one axle connecting both XO liftarms. It saves a lot space when the knobs of both sides are placed in parallel. You have save my day and push me to make a car with a driver seat in the center because I failed to put my current shifter in the supposed Porsche 918 (I managed to put the gearbox behind rear axle and the shifter system with the AWD behind seats but I failed connecting the shifter with the gearbox because it's far away and the rear axle is in the middle. Going under the rear axle will introduce extra resistance and due limited space, creating a greater lever effect is not posible, so it won't shift ) The only way to avoid ruber elements, is making use of friction elements as Uwe did in the Porsche with two 8T gears Also I want to know if the red frictionless 3L connectors with the newest driving ring has less friction than using the smooth 2L connectors with the old driving rings
  21. Don't forget this one http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140915-42038-c-model-tracked-compact-loader/
  22. Looking forward to your car definitely. Looks really robust. I am really sure that it will be an ultimate car like the Steppenwolf
  23. We shouldn't worry about prices. As usual the final pieces will be lower. Just look at the 42053. Initially it was costing 90EUR an now it can be find for 70-80EUR or even less
  24. No info of 42061. The B model of pullbacks is basically the combination of both
  25. 1L black beam in container truck (look at the mirrors) and the new worm gear for bevel gears in telehandler
