  1. Looks like it was designed by Uwe. Front axle is similar to the 42077ยดs one
  2. I was about to post that. The wheel arches are 2 studs shorter indeed. Also seems like the soft axles on the trunk are 11L
  3. About the Porsche .Itยดs me or the white soft axles on the front are 11L? :O
  4. That does not look like a ZR1... Expected a better result, even when they are using a new panel for the wheel arches. Waiting for the Porsche
  5. So great to see your MOC released . As you see, I am not the only one who said that is the best Technic car ever seen. The performance of the RC is amazing and all functions are pretty well executed. I really like how works the spoiler and aero break. The bodywork is on another level given the absence of flex axles on the most difficult and crazy sections of the car. What else could I say... Because there are too many details to go deep into Just congrats for that amazing car and thank you for brings us the chance to build and have our own copy If it's your first 1:8 car, I can't imagine how will be the next
  6. TBH this set is just fine as parts pack, because the set itself is meh
  7. Built the shifter, and doesn't require to much force to do a shift - we have yet to try it with the whole shifting mechanism -. But there is too much backlash - sometimes, in my case the #3 connector get stuck in the middle of the 1L bush - and to be honest I expected to see a different/new mechanism like the Porsche one, I mean, it is basically a concept created by the community and that lever looks weird for a paddle shifter system, beside it is placed so low and behind the steering wheel :O. Anyway the set looks awesome, and has that MOC feeling. Make me want one but it's too expensive :/
  8. That new orange piece is awesome! Sequential gearboxes are going to be compact! Also nice to see the new 20T clutch gear in blue. Interestingly that it is also used on the differential connected with a 3L frictionless tan pin. OTOH Don't like the color vomit to be honest
  9. Wondering what's gonna do TLG with the countdown
  10. Overall It looks good, but the hood is really bad and rushed
  11. What do you think guys? Could it be the picture of the Chiron? https://brickshow.com/2018/04/the-lego-technic-bugatti-chiron-42083-eyed-for-an-early-vip-release-in-may/
  12. What if you remove two cylinders - the ones near on the cabin- , making a V8 instead? Also you could find a way to remove the block engine on one or both sides and conect the engine cylinders directly to the chassis. . I would not sacrifice the pushrod suspension, because the complexity and features of the model
  13. Fun Fact: On this day, in 2016, the Porsche Thread got 39 pages filled with hype and speculation Another fact: The first official video of Porsche was released on April 25 of 2016 So maybe should we wait till April for official confirmation?
  14. I am quite excited about this set. I do not like Bugatti, but we can not deny that the Chiron is a great model for a Technic Set, and definitely new parts are welcome. This is the chance for TLG to redeem with the AFOLs and fix the problems given with the Porsche, and I guess it is something that Bugatti is/was aware. For example I do no think that a luxury brand as Bugatti would allow a 4 speed gearbox for reverse in their model About the Slow-motion video (Thanks @Didumos69) I would say that the theory of a 7 Speed gearbox is possible because the protoype shows only 1 driving ring along with the white extension and the white gear. What I am traying to say is what we see in the video could be just a section of the gearbox. Something that I am not sure is if the grill is a new part or not Anyway we just have to wait for more info/teaser. Maybe what TLG shows in the video is too far away from the final model as we are from August @Pas_de_nice It looks pretty awesome, If you do not mind, please share with us th file
  15. What an amazing set! I really like it. For pieces we get 2 LAs, 2 Mini LAs, a lot 5x11 Panels and DBG panels and pieces and it's another set with curved 3x13 panels in black . Some may complain about only black, grey color scheme, but Wasn't it we really wanted after "color coding" on 42070? Anyway, it guaranties a full use of every piece on MOCs. For example my inventory is based on 3 sets, and I haven't used many pieces due its color (orange, bright green). About System pieces, as @nerdsforprez pointed, the % is pretty small compared to technic pieces, and they are only predominant on the front. Those pieces are refreshing, otherwise we could have seen the same boring bend liftarms as fenders To understand the felling, just look the 42077. The designer used the same technique for fenders from 42039 . The only bad thing that I see on this truck is the lack of gearbox for functions, I mean, it's about Lego Technic and a big set, right? Hehe.... Would have been pretty awesome a gearbox on the trailer, but I guess it's something we have to make... It's Lego Technic after all, right? Definitely will try to buy it
  16. What a masterpiece! Amazing... So glad to see it finished. it's only missing..... A video Ps. HOF
  17. Seller stated as Used, but there is not any trace of play - No scratches, cables/connections in mint condition-, I mean, seems like they were for a display model (42030)
  18. My last bargain was not "wow" but it's something: 4 PF motors (M,L,XL, Servo) for 44USD free shipping
  19. Official Images of some sets (Not sure if pics are so big) https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-technic-2018-official-set-images/
  20. Hi This is my entry for the Freighter Wars Contest . When it was announced, I seem an opportunity to build not your regular Technic model and I really enjoyed the experience This model is based on the YT-2400 Outrider,. As you may see, it has some modifications as the color scheme, canons instead turrets and a longer rear of the cockpit (I don't know how it is called) My main goal was built it with only existent Technic parts and make all details with Technic pieces, avoiding System parts as possible. In the end I used a LA, perpendicular connectors, towballs, axles, busshes etc for the details and only 5 tiles and 3 dishes. Also I wanted to create the body an getting the shape using Panels as much as I could to give an uniform, sleek appearance. (The new 3x13 curved panel in black was really useful) Since there is not a room and time due contest for functions, the only one is function is rotating canons using the central vent of the rear as knob. The model was partially built in real life, but I ran out of pieces because it was a side project. Also the color combination was really bad (White and bright green) So decided to finish it on LDD - despite all difficulties of building with Technic on LDD - and then this color combination comes that really pops out and is possible to build in real life. Unfortunately, right know is not possible for my to build it, since a lack so many black panels..... Someday... For now there are some pics/renders . Hope you like it
  21. Yeah! The GT90... I know this car thanks to NFS2 ... Also the Ford Indigo is another "classic"
  22. The car looks pretty good. As some advice, the bottom corners of the rear should be more round, and in overral all the rear. The trick is to place the panels in different angles using angle connectors AND bend liftarms/beams placed in angle connection
  23. Guys.... A preliminary picture of 1H 2018 Sets has been leaked! I could have posted some info on the 2018 Thread but It is locked ... Anyway, seems like we have a MACK truck as flaghship
