LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Yooha replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oh, you mean the BaRBarian! I had no idea at the middle of your post, why you want to give such fearful weapons to that lovely girl. -
Can anyone guess, what in the remaining 80% of the box will be? Assuming that all the bricks are in the creatures. I know lego boxes are usually oversized, but these are way too big.

Minifigures Couples Female/Male Hero/Villain
Yooha replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have never heard of a female dwarf, not even in LEGO, but in any other sources - but I guess they must exist. Of the other ideas: The umpire (which was an unknown word, it's referee to me) is a great idea with a striped torso and maybe those bulky black armor(?) for basball referees. Modern type empress of England, what's that? They have a queen, is that she? Mona Lisa: A painting would be difficult, her clothes alone won't give her away I fear. And Vénus de milo without arms? I prefer the David Statue with a printed leaf "there" to avoid unfit-for-children issues. :) Groom with two golden rings (same as the One ring) -

It seems no one started the other „game” which happens when a new series has pictures: What to look for while feeling the bags? Barbarian: The two swords, but one is enough. I don’t see any similar pieces. Not so hard. Scarecrow: Pitchfork (wide at the and, unlike the spear) and the crow. The hat is too similar to the blu.. jazz musician’s I fear. Easy. (if you find the pitchfork first). Bavarian Lady*: The pretzel. We don’t see the hair from behind but maybe it is unique as well. Relatively easy. Evil Mech: The ray-gun, and the armor is bulky, isn’t it? How bulky was it at series 9? Easy. Tiki Warrior: The mask is huge I think, spear (no pitchfork-end) and the bone. Easy. Gingerbread Man: Cookie head and mug. Easy. Holiday Elf: Short legs, bulky 2x2 brick. Easy. Yeti: Big head, no ordinary head I guess. Maybe the ice cream but it’s quite small. Relatively easy. Mountain Climber: Big axe and the rope.** Easy. Welder: Welding equipment and helmet. Relatively easy. Scientist: Flasks and haircut, but none of them is very unique to me. Not so hard. Jazz Musician: The sax. Relatively easy Diner Waitress: Tray, and the rollerblades are small square-like thingies. Relatively easy. Granny: The cat. And the basket is rubber-like. Easy Constable: Hm, that’s the hardest I fear. The baton is so small, not very unique (yeti ice cream), and the helmet is similar to the elf’s hat, but without ears. Intermediate J Lady Robot: Cube head, neckpiece for the clockwork instrument. Easy. * The term “Lederhosen Lady” is used by a few members on other forums. I wonder if the word “Lederhosen” is so unknown among non-germans or people who studied german, why was it the official name of the series 8 minifig? **The paramedic theory is symphatic to me. Otherwise, where is his backpack if he is a mountain climber? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Yooha replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Barbarian – It merinds me of a gladiator rather than a “Barbarian”. Although he doesn’t have any unique weapon/haircut/torso, the overall impression is pretty cool. Scarecrow – I thought it will be perfect. It is perfect. Crow, pitchfork, everthing is superb! Lederhosen Lady – The hair is good, but why a pretzel again. Maybe the transparent mugs? Or an edelweiss? But otherwise she’s pretty. Evil Mech – I’m not a scifi fan, so I skip him (it?). Tiki Warrior – Another perfect one. According to the “instruction” an islander hairpiece, yipii! Gingerbread Man – The way I expected him, one of the better ones. Elf – He looks like a mouse with these ears But the accessories are good. Is that same teddybear as before? Yeti – The flagship of the series, brilliant! Another previous question solved: One piece for the head. Mountain Climber – The red/black colours look good, better than I expected. But is he planning to mine some coal with that huge axe? Welder – A decent fig, but nothing special to me. The welding equpiment will be popular I guess. Scientist – I’m a chemist so she is perfect to me, but otherwise an average one. Jazz Musician –He looks blues to me, brother! The long-expected sax is here! Waiter –The outfit is what I expected with the tray and the rollerblades. Her clothes are cool yellow I guess, but it’s a little bit bothering. Why not light aqua or pink? And a coffee pitcher(?) would have been better. Grandma – I expected the sumo hair in grey, this one is too “modern” to me, but the cat is nice. Constable – My dreams came true! Lady Robot – N/A. -

Yooha replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review! When I saw the official model, I thought the same thing about the hood as everyone else, but it bothers me less and less as time passes. Seeing it with the "original" model I dare to say I like the new, official one better. It is more stramlined. The minifigs are cool, the only drawback is the lack of more outfits for the figs. Doc's yellow/red outfit with the huge shining sunglasses, and maybe Marty with his wild-west clothes.- 207 replies

LEGO 50004 Story Mixer - New game revealed
Yooha replied to KazeMonsuta's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I don't know what this game is about, but these microbuilds are so gorgeous! I know this is a triviality here but lego is so suitable to express anything using just a few plastic pieces.- 9 replies

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Yooha replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
We absolutely don't know what characters will be in the movie, maybe we haven't seen half of them. But from the trailer, I would love Michelangelo (the artist, not the turtle) and the 80's space guy with ragged space logo of course. And Batman in an orange outfit- 2,626 replies

I love seeing more and more MAC entries as the deadline is coming :) The river and the flora is nice! Are you planning to build more building stages perhaps? I'd love to see how the tower will look like.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Yooha replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This post is still not about new pictures But an indicator that shows that there are pictures: many new posts in a short period of time in this thread. And a headline on the main page; the picture is posted several times on facebook. -
I didn't check previous winter village sets, but in this one, there are approx. 140 1x1 round plates out of the 1200 pieces. And there are many other tiny pieces, so this is why the set doesn't look too big despite the 1200 pieces.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Yooha replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
1) Will the welder mask have a hinge than can lift it? What's behind the mask? Normal hair? It will have a hinge and there is a helmet behind it. 2) Will the tiki warrior have a mask or a painted face? Mask AND a painted face behind it. 3) Will the scarecrow have normal legs/body? No normal legs, but a pole or something. 4) Will the barbarian wear a cape? Which weapon will he have A cape and a huge sword. 5) Will the granny come out with a cake? Would she be a pairing for the grandma visitor from S7 With the pie of the CM5 clown. 6) What will the jazz player play? A Sax? A sax or a trumpet. 7) Will the diner waitress wear rollerblades Definitely 8) Guesses about the Lederhosen/Bavarian Lady? No :) 9) Will the Mountain Climber be an ice climber or a hiker? A Himalaya climber with hooked boots (or whatever it is called) I hope 10) Any guesses about the Constable. A classic british bobby. -

REVIEW: 8909 LEGO Collectable Minifigures- Team GB
Yooha replied to TrumpetKing's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My girlfriend worked in London last year, so I persuaded her to find some figures for my hungarian AFOL colleagues :) She became quite an expert during this (although she is not a lego fan), she even helped some English kids to find certain minifigs. But I insisted that when I visit her, I want to find my minifigs MYSLEF! I found myself very lucky to have this chance. And I realised that for the 1st time in the CM line, there is one minifig that has the very same parts as another, plus some other parts. Namely the judo girl has the same pieces as the gymnast girl, but the ladder has the pieces for the board(?). So if you find a judo girl you never know whether you just can't find the board pieces of the gymnast girl ,or those are not there at all!- 12 replies
