  1. This is one of the most beautiful modular buildings, thanks for sharing the review! I love tha balcony with those lamp, very cozy.
  2. I just realize that spotlight can be made also (I stuck with the area light till now) So I made this quick rendering to practise. (In a TV show some years ago one said that the definition of the chanson: A Frenchman stands alone on the stage, and he is sad. So here he is)
  3. Oh, and one more thing: The ability to "drop" parts without the need to be attach them to anything. Just put an element ABOVE something, and then drop, allowing it to "fall" until it hits something. Putting a let's say a vase on a tiled surface, or fill a box with apples, making such water etc.. In a more advanced way: those parts could roll after hitting something , to make it more realistic, but that would be more difficult to make I guess.
  4. I have to admit, I thought it is a Citroen 2CV. The most iconic part of the VW Beetle for me is the hood, which is getting narrower as it approaches the front of the car, which is - I think - impossible to recreate in such a small scale. And overall, the cute curviness of a Beetle is hard to do with the bricked-shape..uhm..bricks. But it is a nice try though. Peace!
  5. Chimney cake stall If you're wondering, what a chimney cake is: this
  6. I read that they will be implemented, I just want to express, that the Friends minidolls are much needed! I start liking them.
  7. Is that a swedish joke? (no offense)
  8. My presumedly last settlers building: the goldsmelter
  9. Is it just me who thinks that Beorn's hair is tan, and not dark tan? It doesn't look that dark to me.
  10. That chameleon is pure cuteness, I so want one! And I miss a small pumpkin-chariot with a mouse - okay with a rat.
  11. As I checked all the sets from previous years, I could find only one set (Summer Riding Camp), in which there is more than one from the 5 primary characters. So basically they never met!
  12. It doesn't mean that I won't build anything else in the future, don't worry I'm planning to build some things for the Age of Mitgardia free build, but my building-calendar is full until the end of this year, so maybe after it. Or you have something in your mind (which can't be built in real bricks, otherwise you could build it yourself)? I used hinges for the round tower, which I think is a well-known technique for round things and surely not my invention. So you don't steal it from me, only steal further. Not any diameter, since you can use only angles that are divisors of 360°. But there are plenty of them, so it can use for a wide variety of diameters, yes.
  13. The 7th building is a goldsmelter: And this was the last building I designed. I'm not telling that it is finished, but can't promise there will be any more buildings in the series. My previous buildings: pinewood cutter, pinewood forester, bookbinder, mill, bakery, lettersmith
  14. Hi to all, I would like to present my own interpretation of a winter village market. It was hugely inspired by the official set in the meaning that there will be smaller stalls in it. I’m planning to post a new part of the project in every two or three days, since a have to finish it by 1st December.. Disclaimer: This project is NOT for the Expand the Winter Village Contest, since it is a digital one, and is completely independent from it. Candle stall This nice old lady sells candles and wreaths for the holiday season. The back wall can be opened.
  15. some new pictures. More apples and new type of leaves, strawberry tiles, windsurf.
  16. Where is that piece on the picture? I just don't see it.
  17. My wishlist (if already mentioned, pardon me): Make a mirrored model of something . Availability mode: list all the currently available colors of a part. Position a previously hinged part unchanged, without hinging it back. Put the **** part ON the model and not under it! No-one wants to put a part somewhere it cannot be seen from that angle!
  18. Impressive work! Do I see right, that Pythagoras helped you with the skewed wall (5,12,13)? My favourite is the neat little blue cottage in the middle of the structure; it's a pity that it can barely be seen. EDIT: I just read the Yeti's comment, but I won't change mine. More right for little blue houses!
  19. Replace a 1x2 brick with a 1x2 brick with studs on 1 side and a 1x2 plate, or a 1x1 plate and 1x1 tile for the latter plate.
  20. Hi to all, I think I need some help. Many month ago, I managed to make this using LLDtoPOVray: Where the chrome surface on the roof looks pretty neat. Now, I lost the ability to reproduce it. In theory it is titanium metallic, but in my present attempts it is just to dull. What to change? I remember that I didn't alter anything in the .pov file manually, so it had to be some settings in the LDDtoPOVray program. But what is it?
  21. Whooa, does he wear flip-flops? Or aren't there toes? I'm not a fan of JT either, I guess because he was in my dark ages.
  22. I have a feeling that these are based on real bird species since some of them have distinctive colors. Can you add their names?
