  1. Another fantastic creation! I really love the micro built hanger. The SNOT floor with all the lines is lovely and so are the wall decorations. Ofcourse this is a freebuild, you're doing some flora for the episode build ;)
  2. I think there's too much going on in this scenes ... The hanger is very well built with a lot of details. The Technic parts greeble looks nice and the SNOTed floor with the white signs is excellent. My favorite part would be the nicely detailed balcony with the Shadowtrooper on it. Though there are some bitter parts like the very bottom of the base and where the balcony connects to the wall that really look unfinished and are quite disturbing in such a fine MOC! Also some bricks are not pushed all the way in the white frame ... I said tehre's too much going on, since you showed us many ships and walkers (that are all nice) and only used the hanger as the showcase. But I think the hanger alone is nice enough to include only one vehicle and make it as a static MOC. You might've saved some of the ships for any later episodes or post them as freebuilds to gain some extra XP! This way it looks like a fresh MOCer on steroids. But as said, all the builds are nice so keep up the good work!
  3. I too prefer the snowbase to the ship. The ship has interesting wing positioning idea, but I find the overall shape of the body to square. The SNOT usage in the base is nice and so are the many details. I really like the orange bombs. I'd only sugest to tile the thinner support so that the studs are hidden. Also my personal preference is never to use twosided heads with a headgear that does not cover the back face. Any black hair might also work on that Bothan ...
  4. I like the walker though it looks more like a grinder than a chopper :) For the square plates problem, if you don't have enough smaller plates to hide them, you should think about positioning the leaves and the stumps in a smarter way, to cover most of the straight lines. Also some cheese slopes or sloped bricks would look nice as roots near the stumps and maybe cover some of the holes ... I think I'll also have a problem with building the natural scene ...
  5. Nice walker and tree, though I'm not too convinced about the yellow container. It screams out a bit much. The log bricks create a nice frame but it looks a bit unfinished. My sugestion would be to continue building over the brown frame and use plates (if you have enough) to get some different heights on the ground ... Oh, and Ewoks don't speak english ;)
  6. So is this the end of Ninja? That's pretty sad ... although fighting on the wrong side, you and your builds shall be missed! Excellent work with the small vigs clearly representing everything you've gone through in SoNE and a nice character development. Hopefully there's a surprise comeback? Best!
  7. I must say that I'm a bit disappointed with this episode. Nothing really special about it though I think it was said that there might be and that there were some extra tasks for the higher ranks planned ... I see nothing of that here and besides I find the rebels mission far more interesting. The possibilities of their builds are endless! What I really miss is some kind of originality like episode II or the last episodes scoring system. Some size limits would also be nice from time to time to get even more interesting detailed builds ... if there's no limits everyone usually just goes as big as possible ... Anyway, just threw out a few of my thoughts. Nevertheless I really hope I'll find some time to participate in this one, since I'm way busier than I'd want to be lately ...
  8. Cool and huge thing! One thing I'd sugest is to use a two bricks thick wall, so that the light is not seen through where the 1x1 round plates are used. I doubt they shot through the cruiser armour ...
  9. Hi and welcome to the better side! Let me get those for you: 1) The size is not limited if it does not say in the episode rules. It all depends on how much time / bricks you have at your disposal, but bare in mind that bigger MOCs are not always better ... 2) There's plenty of freebuilds and also episode MOCs that tell the story from different areas which are built into one MOC. If evolving is meant to change the scene like 1st you have the trees and then all the trees are fallen, I think it's more like 2 different MOCs which I think is not OK, but let the staff answer you this one. 3) We're trying to be as canon as possible. Since it doesn't say exactly what time this episode is happening, it's possible to go with your story. 4) Well I think that's the whole idea - it should be your character, though there are slight limitations since we're not allowed to be the force sensitive ... 5) I guess there's no problem with that, but the set itself will not count in the judging process.
  10. Again a well made build! There's plenty of details and the planet fits there nicely. I do think that the room is a bit too luxurious for ordinary troopers ...
  11. Another great build with nice wall decorations. I like it how the walls are so tall, it clearly gives a feeling of some large hangar. Nice work with colecting so many stormies and great work with all the distinct chracters! Although I can see the purple haired anime guy force choaked pretty soon! :D Would like to see more pics of this one as well as the image of the whole creation ...
  12. Nice! So many details all around those walls, I really like the pipes. It'd be nice to see the whole MOC in one image ...
  13. Great creation! I'm really glad the Empire got some talented recruits. There's a lot of detail and the bar is excellent. My favourite part is the outer wall of the bar! The reddish lighting in the bar shot is also a nice touch. The only thing that bothers me is that the dancer's pole ends in the air - it should go to the ceiling. The story is nice although I prefer MOCs showing just one moment of time. Speaking of which, this could simply be three seperate freebuilds with the tatooing and recruiting area seperated ...
  14. I was sitting right behind Rufus at the lap-speed building competition. Maybe I should have used some "fairplay" and shook his chair a little, since I only had 4 pieces left when he finished. Though review vise I think it's far better the set got into Rufus' hands. Nice review and I can't wait to get this amazing set!
  15. Three hours wait at Frankfurt airport and only one hour of free internet!? Oh well, time to find some LEGO stores afterwards ... but first of all a big thanks to everyone involved in the organization of the event. As everyone has already mentioned it was AWESOME! Thanks to everyone joining it was really amazing to meet you people. It was a bit hard to speak to everybody for so many people coming and for it being my first event, but I'll catch up and am really looking forward to the next one! Now where's Tuesday, when I get all the sets from Cwetqo's car ...
  16. Pictures, pictures, PICTURES!!!
  17. The car assembly takes 10 pages in the instructions. That's it from me, I think it's time to start packing and then I'm off to start the trip ... See ya all in the evening! Keep them coming or I'll owe Holodoc a beer. ;)
  18. If you carefully disassemble (no splitting) all the pieces of the minifig you get 10 separately moulded pieces. And it has pieces in 10 colors ...
  19. Did I write that? Well look what you make us do because of all the haste ... anyway I'm more of a female minifigs collector.
  20. I'll do my best to persuade show the jury that your model deserves to win!
  21. Why is dismantling the minifig such a big deal?!
  22. 10 studs between the valves on the tank 10 pieces in the minifig (if you split the legs, arms and hands) 10(bin) numbered bags in the set 10(hex) at the end of the set number
  23. Monday - Wednesday? But we're already at day 2 ... intriguing, so we get a day 0 as well? Let's make this even more fun - I challenge Holodoc to come up with a 3 point answer for day 0 that we can't figure out ... and is not one of the candidates pulling for the fun point :) For a beer that is ;)
  24. It contains pieces in 10 colors.
  25. I guess this is one of the 10 sets I never knew existed ...
