Agreed with everyone, great techniques, great build. Just awesome all around.

I'm a big fan of your color choices all around, the ground, the foliage, the rocks. My only critique would be I think the cave could use more shaping, the flat ceiling looks out of place in an otherwise great build. But that's just my opinion.

"This is Bad, This is Really Really Bad!"
Blitzismydog replied to LittleJohn's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really like the texture you got on the spider legs, just brilliant. I'm also liking going the extra mile with the background. Fantastic build all around, and really captures the feeling of a nightmare for me. -
[MOC] Johny Thunder And The Amazon Temple
Blitzismydog replied to Jellyeater's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I tried to start a list of what all I liked about this build, and ended up with everything, ha ha. Seriously, though, the foliage, the pools in front of the temple, the interior relief work, all fantastic. -
It looks like something bad is about to happen. I love that wall technique.

I really like the roof work and your technique for the walls.

I think it looks great. It looks very much like it's based on something LEGO would produce, which I feel adds to its charm.

This is not a car I would have thought would translate into LEGO well, but you captured the lines of the Cobra nicely.

[MOD] UCS Sandcrawler 75059, the snot project
Blitzismydog replied to Adamskii's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm impressed by how much better SNOT makes this look. Great job, and I can't wait to see more. -
Agreed with everyone else, the road work is brilliant. Everything looks great.

Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes
Blitzismydog replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm really hoping for some leather armor print for the rogue. As far as I have seen LEGO seems to be lacking here. -
So very creative, and incredibly executed. The greenery is great, I love the integration of the book pages into the piece. I can't say enough about this.

I'm with everybody else, the colors and the patterns are phenomenal. Great looking MOC.

I really like the styling of the walls, and I, too, am impressed with what you accomplished using almost only one color.

I don't think the Sandcrawler gets enough love, so I really like this. I think you have done a good job with the angles for the scale.

Very fun and creative build. I like this alot.

REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)
Blitzismydog replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Licensed
I just can't get over how fantastic Giant Man is, and I can't wait to try making other figs like this, or see what others come up with. Thanks for the review.- 26 replies

Very nice mod. This is something I need to try because it looks so much more correct than the official set.

This gives me a "Snoopy's bad dog cousin" vibe with the anthropomorphic dog and the red roof.

Agreed, I'm a big fan of the starter sets. It's just a shame that the heat suit minifig only comes in the big set. I dig the excavator, but the rest of the set is disappointing to me at the price. That said, I like the aesthetic of the bars over the windows on the trucks in this theme.

I can just imagine the outrage from "concerned parents" over this once people realize it. It will probably be the same people commending LEGO now for the wheelchair. I don't envy being in that position. On a more positive note, Fun in the Park is weirdly perfect for my sig fig family stuff (German Shepherd print, wheelchair for my daughter, baby boy coming in June, sweet new torso prints). I'm super excited.
