  1. Thanks Thank you. It looks like we started from the opposite sides - me, begginer, starting smaller and simplier, you, more experienced starting bigger and more complex. I wonder, how will start another contesters and which types of models will appear, and if there will be some unexpected ones. I think it'll be real fun to watch it and even more fun to attend it My next step should be decision, if I'll try suspension, or let it simple, as it is.
  2. Well, four of them one after another have 2000 cubic studs. They don't make too much space between them to fit rules
  3. Fantastic ...now I should use suspension in my way bigger model, too. I couldn't make excuses, that it's too tiny
  4. I like, how you shrink it :) In the first post it looked to be impossible, but you already did it Now only question is, how you could push cabin in the box :) Functions look already great
  5. Hallo everyone :) This is my first attempt to share my work in public I'm relatively new in technic, my first technic set isn't one year old yet and this one is my only second try to make MOC. I disasambled first one because of this contest. I haven't ambitions to win it, just to particapate, make some improvement of my skills and have a fun. I've started to build potential A-model - roadster. Now I have first sketch of chassis with 4 cilinder boxer motor. I've already reach about half of limit and I'm expecting growing in all three dimensions little bit, which will just fit. Now it has steering, rear diferential conecting to fake motor and I am planning to make opening doors, bonnets and most ambitous - folding roof. I also have some ideas, how to shape front end, but very unclear idea, how to make the rest of it. I'm no sure, if I could make it with suspension, it would be nice, but I haven't all needed parts, and I also not sure, how I could make it in such a tiny space. Front axle would be easier, I just need one 42021 set to have all parts to make it. Rear axle would be more challenging. So here is first sketch of it: This sketch just make final proportions of wheelbase, width and approximate position of motor, if it'll be with suspension, I'll have to rebuild it completely. B - model will be with simillar functions, but differently shaped. I wonder, how I'll manage it, please, stay with me
  6. Congrats to all contesters and especialy to top three. You all done great and inspiring work.
  7. Brilliant :D Mix of Minion and Alien is crazy, I love it :)
  8. Hallo, this is my first attempt to build MOC in LDD. Classic space has been my favourite theme of my childhood, but nowadays I have no bricks of it. I just started to collect some Technic sets last year and its too expensive for me to spend money for more then one theme, so I'll stay to build other themes in digital. This one wasn't designed properly, It was just pure play and fun. http://bricksafe.com/files/muffinbrick/digital-builds/spaceship01/space_01-1.png http://bricksafe.com/files/muffinbrick/digital-builds/spaceship01/space_01-2.png
  9. This voting is really hard, I would like to vote for at least 10 entries, but finaly this is how I see it: 1:10 16:6 10:4 17:3 6:2 3:1
  10. This one is one of the favourites, for sure. I cant wait for superstructure!
  11. I have no problem with "messy" colour scheme, this is rough dirty working machine, in which aesthetic is not that important. I even thing, that those mixed colours match with purpose of this crane very well and give it authentic look.
  12. Ive already looked some pictures of real trucks, and you are right. But anyways, flat roof will match better with crane above it.
  13. Yes, I also think, that upper section should be one stud lower, bottom frame of roof windows should be on the same level as roof of the main cabin. Then it could look even better.
  14. Lovely. Its definitely Kenworth! ;)
  15. This interior and wall textures reminds me interiors from original axonometric Fallout games :) In other words, I like it very much!
  16. I like all your creations, they reminds me my old classic space sets from my childhood. I also like, how you switch classic space color scheme - solid yellow + trans blue instead of solid blue + trans yellow. It looks interesting and it works very well.
  17. Very nice MOC. Looks great and works even better! And still is relatively compact.
  18. Hmm, looks very clean, Im looking forward for the rest. Nice work
  19. Fantastic job! I wouldnt ever think, that is possible to built this one in such a small scale, and also with all those nice details.
  20. Thak you all for your welcome. Something tells me, that LEGO won't be cheap hobby at all :)
  21. Hello, my name is Martin, but many of my friends calls me "muffin", according to my nickname on our local MTB forum. When I was child, I had some nice LEGO sets, first of them was 6970 Beta I Command Base, then some smaller sets, and when I was little bit older, it was 740 Basic Building Set. In that time I was dreaming about TECHNIC, but in 80's it was too rare and expensive in our country. Later I had some different hobbies and LEGO remained just as memories on my childhood. Everything changed, when we(me and my grlfriend) thought of present for our 3 years old nephew. LEGO was my first choice, and it was good one :) Now he's 6, has tens of sets(mostly CITY and SW) and is able to build almost anything following BI. So before last christmas we decided to buy him smaller TECHNIC set. When it was on our shelf, I couldnt help mysef and had to open the box. And that was no way back. When I saw all those technic parts, I started to browse LEGO pages and looked for some nice set for myself. And finaly I bought 42029 - not too expensive, but still enough challenging. Today, after less then a year later, I have 4 sets, and dont think its over. Now I have my first TECHNIC MOC WIP, and yesterday I bought my first organizer boxes to be more effective in building process. And ofcourse, I already have installed LDD and have account at bricklink. So now I just have to practicing building a buying missing parts(sets:)) for my future projects :)
  22. Test - test - test - test - test - m2 - test - test - :) Edit
