muffinbrick replied to PaMe's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
After all those dokludi's C, D etc. models of 42039, it looks like this set has endless potential. This buggy is nice and fresh, has good propotions and looks to be ready to race. Oh, and welcome to EB -

Im not very experienced in TECHNIC, but i think, that solution to make 3 modes of steering is simple. You just need simple gearbox with one driving ring and two gears with clutch - so you have tree positions - neutral, and two directions. Input axel will be connected to front wheels and output to rear wheels. To avoiding switching between modes you just need short liftarm conected to input axle, which will rotate, when you steer, so it will prevent switching modes, if it wont be vertical.

42056 - Porsche Speculation
muffinbrick replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, it looks like 7studs long version of it. -
Thak you all Yes, I know that, this model is far from flowless. I have some ideas to make it better, but some of them would need to rebuild it completely, which is too late for the contest, and for some simlier ideas I just dont have enough proper parts. Maybe when cotest will end, I'll try some upgrades, because besides those flaws, I'm realy satisfied with apearance and functions of this roadster, so I would like to make it even better. OK, as I said, here is first video edit of A - model:

OK, so now I am finished with my A - model - roadster. It has taken a lot of time to make it in different color scheme but finaly I did it with some small compromises(those half bushes in black are ridicolously expensive on BL, so I refused to take them). I also made some small upgrades in structure and shaping. All functions stayed, as they had been. Here are some pictures, I'll also try to edit video this weekend.

[TC9] Trophy Truck
muffinbrick replied to deehtha's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So you finally won't make 6 wheeled vehicle for B-model? -
It looks like hotrod is instant choice for B model . Yours is very promising, in proper colour scheme it will be very nice. It's even better, cause make it from telehender is more complicated, then from just different car.

Nice It has some similar ideas, that I have for my B model for TC9. Color scheme is also black/red, in my case there will be more black, then red. I like details, such as rear trunk cover/wing, exhaust pipes and low profile of roof. I also wonder, how works connection between pullback and fake motor, it would be interesting to watch video of it

[TC9] Forklift

It looks interesting, maybe if you make more detailed pictures of both models plus video of their functions, you will get more replies and support. -
