They're meant to evoke the light saber blades in A New Hope, which are similarly thin. My 2 cents? I love it. It's just part of the early Star Wars McQuarrie look they're going for. Certainly bothers me less than the hideously distorted faces in Clone Wars.

[MOC] Millennium Falcon - Still the coolest spaceship!

New trailer out for the second half of season 2! Lots of.... intriguing stuff in there (to say the least!)

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Lots of potential! . TIE bombers, Mandalorians, Leia, Third Inquisitor, Maul, green crossguard lightsaber, Lasat, Jedi duel dojo. Fingers crossed for Mandalorians and bomber! -
Nice review! Pretty excited for this set. Makes me regret not picking up 75054 AT-AT while I had the chance. The turret turning function is appreciated, and the new Hoth trooper is awesome. And that 75082 TIE canopy piece in LBG... Lego did a great job with all these smallish OT sets this wave.

(LDD MOC) Rebel Gunship/ Troop carrier

Lookin' great! It looks very Star Wars-y, thanks in part to the in fluence of the Moldy Crow. Can't wait to see some of the details on this bad boy! -

That's what happens when you get old... you get liver spots and bruise easily! -
Maybe if you did the v3 version of the nose guns, but replaced the two of these parts with this bracket in DBG and attached the telescopes from the first version? That would probably look best, IMO. Even if you don't do it, I certainly will!

This is probably the set I'm most excited for this winter wave. Thanks for the review! The pod is the best of all the escape pod sets, I see MOC potential with the stickers, Jawas!, awesome parts, and that printed Death Star plans tile is.... indescribably awesome. Seriously, if for nothing else, I'll be getting this for that tile.

Blackstar by David Bowie. A phenomenal work by one of the greatest artists ever, much better than The Next Day. May he rest in peace.

Exactly! I love the old EU as much as the next guy, but the way I see it, we now have 2x as much Star Wars!- 32 replies

Nice review, not-so-nice set. I don't have a new movie Yoda, and very few of those quarter domes, so parts pack for me. -

Here's a thread that could help you with that: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16300&st=0 -
Thanks for the review! I'll be getting this, but for the parts and figs (that Imperial Combat Driver! ) The build is just hilariously oversized. In the cartoon Kanan's speeder is more or less a hover motorcycle, here it's Luke's landspeeder in green. And what's the price of this set?

[BH - Clawdite] Get Up Close, and Hold on
Junior Shark replied to goatman461's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Takobo City, yeah I remember that. Gonna have to go rewatch some Rebels.... there's a fire that's started inside me, and it can only be quenched by building a Star Wars modular! So let's make a fad out of this! And another quick question, what do you use as a base? The big, thin baseplates or regular plates? -

Man, I love your modulars! I could spend hours soaking in all of the details. So unique. Clever backstory with the Zabrak barber. You got me itchin' to try my own Star Wars modular... Coruscant? (that'd be insane!) Mon Calamari/ Dac? (That'd be dope) Garel? (Keeping with Rebels theme) Alderaan? (Awesome) Would you mind if I tried my hand at one? Also, looks like you're putting the Doctor Who set to a good use, based on the minifigure selection here. -
Impressive. Most Impressive. Where'd you get that?

What was the last movie you watched?
Junior Shark replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
TFA.... four times. Don't know if it counts as a movie, but the Sherlock special "The Abominable Bride". Meh. Why they couldn't just keep it in the nineteenth century, I have no idea, especially considering the modern-day portions had no bearing on the conclusion of the "film". -
On the topic of Imperial Officers, more black tunic officers please! Like in the Interdictor episode of Rebels, or all over ANH. We have a black female Imperial torso, but it's a very female torso, and we need some males.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is a shame, but I'm remaining hopeful. The last time Lego did this (with the Yoda Chronicles) we ended up getting an Ithorian minifigure, an RA-7 protocol droid, an E-Wing, and some cool trooper prints. -

Actually, yes. This is hardly better than that clickbait crap on BuzzFeed. Or are you just trolling? You may also wish to consult this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammar -

I'm pretty sure it's a new piece. I pointed it out earlier. But people are more interested in desperately hanging on to the scraps of the EU than new pieces and adventures..... -
OK, thanks for the response.

Are the new Nexo Power pieces stickered, or are they printed?
