  1. Kenobi's grandchild! That makes sense. Well, it doesn't make sense like I subscribe to that theory makes sense, it makes sense cuz I thought that the theory was that Rey was Obi-Wan's child.
  2. @ Devizz: Actually, that video's old news. People have been reporting on it since it came out: http://brickset.com/article/15703. But yes, it is frustratingly similar to old Hoth sets. Folks were just holding out hope that the video didn't depict the set in its entirety. As to your Sith temple set idea, you can discuss it to your heart's content in this preexisting thread: http://www.eurobrick...pic=107233&st=0.
  3. Correctamundo! Now smash us with another unidentifiable movie still!
  4. The Rey Kenobi theory is utterly baffling to me. Is it like some sort of Star Wars immaculate conception?
  5. Rampant rumormongering? Toryn Farr's legs (http://i59.tinypic.com/1fajr9.jpg) look to be the Imperial leg print (http://brickset.com/minifigs/sw632, http://brickset.com/minifigs/sw693) but newly in white. Lego just getting mileage from that print, or a portent of white-uniformed Imperials to come?
  6. Hey! You are very welcome! I follow you over on Flickr, and it'll be great to have you here too! I assume you'll be active in the Star Wars forum with the rest of Joe Shmos?
  7. Dang. So I'm the one who was bamboozled? What an unexpected role reversal.
  8. This is the Rebels thread, not the general Star Wars thread, but on the Knights of Ren: I initially thought that the KoR were a group that Kylo joined. But that begs the question: who/ what is Ren? I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Kylo being the titular "Ren". This goes along nicely with Snoke calling Kylo the "master" of the KoR. And if they were some random dark side cult, then how did they fall under the banner of the First Order? They would have had to be brought in by Snoke, making Snoke the "master" of the KoR. Or maybe there could be a fusion of the "group he joined" and "his group" theories? Maybe when Ben was seduced by Snoke (that sounds so weird), Snoke was like, "Here's this preexisting dark side group that will follow you and even name themselves after you." But still, that's all just speculation. I'm open to all possibilities.
  9. Don't really like this movie, but y'know, Nicolas Cage. What movie? by Junior Shark, on Flickr
  10. *Sigh* Makes me pine for the long-lost days of alternate builds. It was a more innocent time. Jeez, I feel so old (when it comes to Lego). I'm only 18, and I'm already like, "Back in my day, you young whippersnappers..." @SteveOC: "Not perfect but I had fun doing it." That's all that matters, man.
  11. Hey ChiefPie, if you're interested in the TFA C-3PO, my local TRU still has gajillions of the things. I'd be down for a trade if you are, and that way you probably wouldn't get ripped off by Bricklink!
  12. If Amazon genuinely flubbed up, sent him replacement copies of the sets to rectify the situation, but he ended up getting both copies of the sets, that's not stealing. That's good customer service. A Bricks & Pieces order from Lego arrived at my house the other day, and the two 6x12 plates I ordered in light stone grey were delivered in white! I contacted Lego, and they're sending the correct parts. They also told me to keep the pieces I received in error. (Shoutout to Lego's awesome customer service!) Was that stealing? No.
  13. Assault on Hoth? Assault on my senses, more like. Between my 7879 and two of the new Hoth Attack sets, I more or less have this set. Why do they advertise the Wampa's arms on the back of the box? [Edit: Cuz Luke cuts 'em off. Whoops.] Apparently you're supposed to smash the snowspeeder with the base doors? They still have that infernal Tauntaun feeding trough?!? Toryn Farr? Apparently she's famous enough for a Black Series figure (http://www.3darths.c...eries-956-p.jpg). The supposed "modularity"? You can move the turrets around [waves hands sarcastically in the air]. But does this set have no part in my future? I unfortunately see the possibility of this set coming into my hands. Also, if Hoth Leia is May the 4th minifigure, that'll be a real letdown. Two Hoth May the 4th minifigures?!?
  14. Snowtrooper Battle Pack? Sorry, that boat has sailed: http://brickset.com/...per-Battle-Pack. Yeah, we definitely have too many clones. What gets me the most about clones isn't so much the overabundance of minifigures, but the "clonez culture" around them. However, I have been reading the comic series Dark Times lately (http://starwars.wiki...ars:_Dark_Times) and I would not begrudge a plain Phase II or 501st battle pack to make some dope Dark Times/Rise of the Empire-era MOCs. @xboxtravis7992: Nice to know subtlety can translate nicely through computer screens!
  15. Some poor child will never receive another Lego set as long as he lives. "$25 for this dinky little thing?!? Hope you enjoy having only one Lego set, son. It's either that or college."
  16. Yeah, give me a few.
  17. You must be new around here. Exactly. However, there are a lot of obscure Star Wars characters that have become minifigures (Figrin D'An?). What makes Figrin D'An more necessary as a minifigure then? Easy: he isn't one of those clonezz.
  18. Someone was certainly bamboozled. Went back to that same Goodwill today and the set was el absento. Nice to know there's still suckers in the world.
  19. 2 sealed Yularen polys. Who says Craigslist can't be awesome?
  20. So last night's episode was interesting. It felt very... Clone Wars-y, IMO. Pretty neat seeing those modified TIEs. What species was that mining boss?
  21. Trolling? Or genuinely confused?
  22. I've only had a similar problem when I'm posting on Eurobricks from a Dell at work (Shh... ). Otherwise, when I'm at home on my Mac, I don't have that problem.
  23. Ah haha! Mystery Men! Awesome movie.
  24. (Un)lucky find? 70720 Hover Hunter (http://brickset.com/...-1/Hover-Hunter) for $25 @ Goodwill! No, I did no purchase it.
