  1. Nice! Signals is my fave Rush album. But alas, this is not the Rush appreciation thread... Oh Toy Fair! This weekend could not come any faster...
  2. Hey analogkid81, is your name a reference to a song by a certain Canadian rock band? Also, is the Hoth set for sure UCS? It looks too... play feaure-y.
  3. I'd bet there's a copy of the first season at your local library. It's definitely worth it to buy on DVD/ Blu-Ray. You could rent/ buy the first and second seasons on iTunes. I have the first season on Blu-Ray, and since I don't have a cable subscription also, I watch the second season through an iTunes Season Pass. On the topic of the EU being rewritten, I don't mind. I'm as devout an EU fan as any of y'all, and I really have no negative feelings towards the new canon. Just look at it this way: now we have double the Star Wars that we had before!
  4. Awesome! Always great to see unique Star Wars creations like this. My absolute favorite part of this ship is those Alpha Team robot suits, really takes me back!
  5. "File not yet public"?
  6. Hey, Carcharadon nutellus pizzus has feelings too! OK, "Pan's Labyrinth"?
  7. $80?!? Sooooo one Niima set or eight Galactic Empire Battle Packs? Sheesh, that set's starting to look worse than the Takodana one.
  8. "BBC Presents: PLANET EARTH, narrated by Richard Attenborough"
  9. Hey Chupacabra, so I was reading this thread (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25491) and Hinckley recommends putting the cleaned parts in a solution to prevent discoloration. Have you had any long-term discoloration issues with your cleaned stormtroopers?
  10. $90 Blockade Runner? That'd be pretty rough, IMO. The last time there was a $90 Rebels set, it sucked (http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Ghost-75053). As for the Seventh Sister helmet thing, I think it would either be a permanently closed helmet, or she would have a double sided head, with one side of the head featuring a closed helmet print.
  11. @ Jedi-Bendu: It's the white lightsaber pieces, man!
  12. RE: My final version of the megablaster, I think replacing this cone piece (http://brickset.com/parts/4125260) with one of these (http://brickset.com/parts/4211090) in black is more accurate. I'll get a picture up.
  13. Well, ask and it shall be given unto you. This was posted in the forum today: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120942
  14. Actually, that's perfect. Well, no day's complete without tripping over yourself at least once, right? Thanks man. Any idea on the male torso?
  15. MOCing something up, and I need an open dress suit male torso and a fleshie female suit torso. There are currently no in-production sets that have torsos like this. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  16. I believe the black constraction droid may be Alan Tudyk's described "commando droid" character, no? Spoilers I guess?
  17. I'm not usually one for wishlisting, or one for clonez, but a plain Phase II clone trooper battlepack would be awesome, if only to make some sweet Dark Times MOCs.
  18. Hmmm. I won't pretend to know everything about TLG's workings, but that is strange. Like you said, it would make sense if you kept on endlessly requesting "missing" pieces, but you were paying for these. Also strange that they didn't just cut off your access to B&P, they cut off your access to the S@H as well. But again, I don't know squat about TLG's policies when it comes to things like this. I would definitely try contacting them again. Maybe someone here on EB with more knowledge on this than I could help you out.
  19. I found complete 7929, 7626, 40005, 8120, and 8125 (1,040 pieces, $95 retail value) for $15 at a local thrift store. Score!
  20. Is there a new episode of Rebels this week?
  21. @ Vodnik: No, I'm almost positive they're two different ships. Here's a look at the FO Transport: http://geekculture.c...2016/01/4-1.jpg And the RO ship: https://metrouk2.fil...48&h=498&crop=1 Yes, they are similar. And the Rogue One ship is undoubtedly supposed to be the evolutionary antecedent to the First Order ship. However: 1. Different top searchlights (small detail, but helpful) 2. The RO ship lacks the FO one's side lights. 3. The RO ship gets wider much closer to the front of the ship. The FO ship is more or less the same width along its whole length. 4. The angle of the hull above the ramp on the RO ship looks steeper than the FO one, more like a Lambda or Sentinel nose.
  22. I bet one of the Rogue One sets will be that Imperial transporter thing in these photos: https://metrouk2.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/ad_177599907.jpg?w=748&h=498&crop=1 Spoilers? Idk
  23. + 1 on the Harley Quinn thing. The Special Forces clearly do not merely paint one half of their craft black and one half red. I think a primarily dark gray and black color scheme with tasteful horizontal red striping would look more appropriate. Also, the AT-ST should be evolved in some way.
