Fantastic episode! I can't wait to read the conclusion, so yes, please post it Easter Sunday! -
It's too bad the LEGO Ideas project didn't work out. But yes, we need more trains! (especially steamers and old diesels)

Nice work! I can't think of anything other to say besides this is a fantastic MOC! -
DC superheroes MOC wave finale: Darkseid arrives

this is awesome! Love the dioramas sets, the Flash one looks like a actual screencap from a film! -
I've found and built everything I can, now I just have to order the $25 worth of bricks to finish this classic movie villain / truck.

RE Ice Castle minidoll vs minifigure suggestions: Elsa and Anna have also appeared in Disney Series 2 CMF, so you could just swap put the minidolls for those figs, @hikouki. -

If they did dark red it will become "The train of a thousand shades"... dark red color consistency is still very poor. -
sorry for the late reply @Johnny1360! I am also glad to still be tinkering with this model. speaking of which, the first post has been updated as of now. The front end of the old truck really bothered me, (it was totally inaccurate) so I stole the front end from CITY set 60357 (Stunt Truck and Ring of Fire Challenge) to make my model better. I'm going to probably built this one, if I can get over the fear of using reddish brown as I am afraid that I will shatter parts trying to build this using brittle brown. Also, money is a bit tight right now, and I don't want to have to order many more parts than I need (just in case of accidents) only for it not to occur. So basically I'm in two minds about this right now. Hopefully I get over my fears by my next paycheck so I can order it!

Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
Murdoch17 replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The issue with that is Classic Space, Classic Castle, and Classic Pirates are just that, classic - they are the originals, nothing was before them. Ninja is a later subtheme of Castle from a time when Lego was doing badly. Very badly. As a side note, Ninjago CORE has several temple / castle sets that might fit the bill somewhat: 71767 (Ninja Dojo Temple) and 71787 (Creative Ninja Brick Box) are can work, if you remove the vehicles and / or snake-people. EDIT: I forgot about 70670 Monastery of Spinjitzu as well, from 2019 Legacy. Just add two more walls as I did to make an proper octagon. -
Welcome to Train Tech! A few people have made smoke generators in their mocs, but I don't think I've ever seen / heard of actual steam systems or drain cocks being made in Lego before. It sounds really cool! Welcome to you as well!

There have been at least two versions of Hogsmeade station in the films that I can recall. I wonder which one we will get?

Nice work everyone who entered, and congrats to the winners!

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
A Rebrickable user named "marinbrickdesign" has already recolored / modified the white car from Fighter Plan Chase, with instructions for three versions for sale on the site. He's got white (modified with thinner tires), dark red, and tan. The tan one really reminds me of a certain other Adventuresome fellow LEGO has made... -
Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
Murdoch17 replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
As long as Ninjago is around, not a chance. Also, Castle themes don't seem to be selling very well anymore, whereas Ninjago is evergreen at this point. -

Well, I bet the (tulip) farm in the last chapter and lost. (But, the jokes on you all: I never had a tulip farm in the first place! I just hope debtors prison isn't a thing in BoBS, otherwise I'm screwed! ) ...Anyway, fantastic work @Captain Braunsfeld! Can't wait to see where it goes from here! -
Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm hoping and praying the Hogwarts Express looks reasonably well done / accurate, or at the very least the station is compatible with the other Hogsmeade sets. (NO large scale shenanigans!) -

Don't come to my state, Missouri - it's named Misery for a reason. -
Honestly, both the topic title and design of the MOC remind me of late-60's to mid-70's sci-fi book cover art... which is a good thing! Fantastic job!

I'll see your bet and raise you with my entire tulip farm. I vote for it's all a dream caused by Bannanarite-spiked drink. (spelled that incorrectly, I think) -
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you @CDKiii: That's what I was going for! @OccamsRazor the bricks are actually slightly discolored in places - hope this gives off the same effect you were asking about. To everyone else: All digital pictures replaced with real world photos as of NOW!!

They both appear to be bright pink. Such fluctuations in color are common these days, sadly.

Seeing this thread jump up in the forum almost gave me a heart attack. I got really, really excited for a second there... But yes, I agree with you 100%. Maybe since Disney is distributing now outside the UK we will get new sets... but I'm not holding my breath after the current Indiana Jones fiasco.
