  1. At $80 I will be buying a few, selling the minifigs to someone who cares about them and using the rest as a parts pack. Very excited for this!
  2. Love the colors!
  3. Stud.io uses Pov Ray as its renderer but it has some tweaks that are baked in that I like. Also if you want a super great render for a cover on the instructions, I suggest looking into MecaBricks but for a high pixel count image you will need to buy credits but to me its worth the price. (it was like $.10 to do the renders I wanted).
  4. A couple options, there are the LEGO official instructions for the Emerald Night train. It has some faults but there are a few thread on how to fix them. Also there are a ton of good ones on sights like rebrickable. I have also done up some for the Lone Ranger train here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6201/supertruper1988/79111-m-motor-power/#comments Mine are free as are the LEGO ones.
  5. Those look great! for the 50' did you just add 8 studs of length? Any more mods to the structure if I wanted to build a closed door version?
  6. I just opened your file on my mac and had it generate steps with no issues. Actually I cant haha. I think your file is too big. I can definitely see some places to improve it but we can PM about that for sure.
  7. 6 - 1 Point 8 - 1 Point 12 - 1 Point
  8. LEGO has officially discontinued support for 4.3.10. You will need to update to 4.3.11. And also what do you need 1000 16x16 plates for? You might need to turn down the render quality to let your computer handle that many polygons.
  9. I recommend starting in Stud.io I have used LDD extensively and am now moving to Stud.io. It is easy to use and has load of parts and decorations. You can also check prices and that the part you are using exists in the color you want. Plus you can upload directly to a brick link wanted list.
  10. I have found that you have to use an outside set like bricksafe to host files and then just link back here.
  11. Thanks! That looks great! Your scale is bigger than mine but I love your creations!
  12. Looks great! Have you made a thread about that wheel loader in the lower right of the picture?
  13. Yeah haha. I have found that I have this eriee knowledge of what bricks are available in which colors tho. I have also started using stud.io from brick link because you can tick the "hide parts not available in this color" box. That helps A LOT. Its a little outdated but its also much more accurate and up to date than LDD. It is a different work flow but I can switch between them pretty easy now.
  14. That is pretty common. You have to surf bricklink in another window to make sure that the part exists in the color you want. Its frustrating but I have dual monitors so I can usually make it work ok.
  15. LEGO actively encourages the joining a LUG and the discussion of LUGBulk you just cannot discuss the prices offered. If you have worked in any retail business you will soon realize that any of these type of programs will give a discount. The specific discount is always kept secret.
  16. These look great! Thanks for sharing the bogie design as well!
  17. You will need to add the line to all of the computers that you have run blueprint on.
  18. Really? Have you looked at @msx80's BluePrint Software? It can take and LXF and make some great looking instructions like you can see on my ReBrickable page here.
  19. I have this same issue with the latest release but I am not sure if I am just dense or if its a bug haha @djm can you help us out?
  20. Those look great what program are you using to make them?
  21. @sed6 I love it! Now its time to add another door! hahaha
  22. that looks great but the one stud shorter looks wrong after having spent hours looking at my green one lol After looking at my model in stud.io you can do black, red, light bluish gray without issues. You can do yellow or dark blue but the 1x1 round corner needs to be swapped and the 2x6 rounded plate needs a custom solution. Blue and white are close if you rework how the headlamps are built.
