  1. IF we get a Cake Costume fig it should be like this: The bottom layer should be hip wear, and only about half the height if standard legs. The middle should be body wear, and sloped to give good arm movement. The top should be the standard top hat in an appropriate color. For the fig itself, I'd like a female in sparkly leotard.
  2. A Brick Costume fig could be done with a new torso assembly that has a shoulder width of a 1x2 brick, studs on the front, and stud connection points on the back. A few plates could then fill out the fig.
  3. My last trip to Target had a mix of TLBM and Series 16 in near equal numbers. They were on a rack with TLBM cardboard detail. I helped a woman get two copies of the Babysitter, one for her little girl standing there, and one as a gift for a cousin. Her son had no interest in TLBM. The girl was maybe four, the boy about six. I think the TLBM figures just don't appeal too well to the younger demographic, despite the movie's success.
  4. This is such a grand endeavor that I wish I could see it in person. I seriously envy your collection. A couple of the ladies appear to be wearing fashions based on the religious dress of the High Priestesses of the Crahaish neh Triuri. I wonder if Governor Cooke took the opportunity to discuss with the Queen the 'documents' in his strongbox from the uisge bottle returned to Corrington hands by the Eslandolan lady.
  5. The Nestlands Clans support he Resistance headed by Lord Vladivus. Though we sided with the High Council, the Desert King leaves us mostly alone. We are a large source of paints, rare herbs, and raw metals. We pay his taxes, and have no problem passing his soldiers intelligence reports on the Spire, so they can go other places to war. We are awaiting the return of the Armored Eagle Goddess to a flesh existence, which should be very soon. (If the build does not get demolished for a seventh time.) A faction of the Mountain Mummies, Horus worshipers, reject the Desert King claiming the title of Pharaoh. They believe that an undead thing cannot be the embodiment of the Living Horus. They are lead by Namses Setesh, who has control of some limited god power that remained in Historica from a bird god they believe to have been Horus when he was flesh. Namses now looks very fancy. They are allied with the Nestlands Clans, though tensions have been mounting, in their opposition to the Spire. I will let other High Council supporters tell who their forces support. The remaining Ulandus forces have been without their leaders for quite some time, and may end up splintering into their own factions. They mostly hate the Desert King.
  6. The Desert King troops are mostly Egyptian style figs. The High Council troops are generally a mix of the Kingdoms lion torso with dark blue arms, and various Middle-Eastern and Indian figs from Prince of Persia and Adventurers. Asian style figs were found on both of those sides as well. Ulandus troops were Roman style, and used mostly this Galaxy Squad torso with different colored arms denoting their branch of service. I cannot remember which color was which at the moment.
  7. Most sites that have a direct relationship with TLG may put a moratorium on the posting images of the fig. Eurobricks will likely comply with the wishes of TLG, and remove images (and probably links to images) before the official reveal.
  8. What has been shown is quite grand enough. That Kaliphlin knight seems to be sporting distinctly Nestlands armor, though his skin tone marks him as not of the Clans. Is that Mora behind the bar?
  9. When I saw the printing on the hammer, I immediately thought of the CMF Evil Knight's shield. The Reddit image is definitely fake. The official image gives him muzzle loader pistols (which have come in black before), as well as additional neckwear.
  10. Probably after the first boxes show up in stores for purchase.
  11. Now that all that has been settled, here's what I have to say: "The spice must flow."
  12. This is a lovely build, and would definitely qualify for a few UoP credits. Look, make your claims, post here and the main UoP thread, and we'll see about getting them approved.
  13. My idea was very similar, hip wear bottom, torso wear middle, but I would go with just a top hat in white (with printing). A candle representation wouldn't be necessary. The fig I would make female in a sparkly leotard. Cliché, I know, but it adds to the fun.
  14. Many of the Triuri faithful in Eslandola's armed forces mourn Prince Maurice's passing, and celebrate his life this day. There is a story about how every October 13th he calls for a moment of silence in remembrance of the Day of Blood. It is said that it was his ancestor that first lined up his non-Truachesh soldiers to pay honor to the fallen Consort that day. An officer formerly under his command this passed October relates that the Prince was pleased to learn that one of his other royal cousins was able to be in Stedor for the Day of Blood Ceremony. --------------------------------------------- This is a fine example of how fig posing can enhance a story. The restraint with the landscape is very appropriate, and keeps the scene from feeling too cluttered.
  15. Umm . . . Garvey is Eslandola's ally in the fight against Mardier.
  16. Beastmaster Coneheads I'll watch Hackers tomorrow.
  17. Does it have the voice of George Feeny (actor William Daniels)?
  18. Lots of excitement, but no new news. Not waste this post I will discuss the figs. If I can, I would like to get at least four of the chefs. I hope I can find the right face to make Suki. That Female Elf's dress might work for Liz's work clothes. The Retarius' face is perfect for Luke. Those of you who know what I mean, enjoy the thought of it, but don't tell.
  19. I just did a count, and the previous sixteen posts on this thread really belong on the Future Series thread. I have been giving the Cake Suit Guy idea some thought, and if they do it, it could have printing celebrating the minifigs' 40th.
  20. A cake costume could have the top hat in white printed with a colored frosting detail.
  21. The battle axe is from BrickArms.
  22. Always glad to be appreciated for my skill at naming things. She earns the name, and her front page.
  23. Bricklink inventories can take some time. There are a number of this year's Ninjago sets that haven't had inventory lists made out. Adding new parts to the listings often requires having the parts photographed individually. I counsel patience.
  24. So I could sacrifice it by fire on the mid-terms election day?
