  1. The Captains and crew in the Eslandola Navy of the Triuri faith, most of them Truachesh, have never trusted this 'Bishop' and his men. The fact that he had been a Mardier ally before their attacks on his ships made them question the granting of the Letters of Marque. Word of this has spread to the fleet, and such treatment of our officials shall likely be returned in kind.
  2. Nine months was back in November. There is the matter of those 'documents' found in the uisge bottle with the Corrington Royal Seal stashed away in King's Harbour.
  3. I'd say she's the Valiant Harbinger.
  4. For bicorn decorations I think that accent stickers designed for fingernails may be good as badges. Full coverage ones could would work if you are good with a craft knife, but that would depend on the design. Scrapbooking stickers are another option. Cotton pads, not balls, are good for fur edging, to simulate ermine.
  5. Re the crate: weight and cost. Less actual material, and a single part instead of two.
  6. You should see him on Mad About You as Uncle 'Phil', aka Deuteronomy.
  7. That's one horn-y chicken!
  8. That is why I use the Brickarms rapier. I have it in a number of colors.
  9. There's a party hat piece in the Friends line. Happy Birthday to the Minifig?
  10. The foil is in 15 sets. There's the tassel, skull sword hilt, and serrated cutlass.
  11. Lego has made what it calls a rapier, it is more of fencing foil. There are a few parts from the Sky Pirates Ninjago sets that will no doubt be part of a more classic Pirates line in time.
  12. Costume could mean dress-up, as in modern figs going to a party as figs of the past. I could envision the classic knights redone, with armor and shields printed with the original emblems and that fancy visor remade. Other classic figs remade with modern techniques. Better yet, Lego designers, department heads, and head of the company, as figs in costume.
  13. The images make the ghost part appear light grey/trans-clear whereas the CMF was dark grey/trans-clear. That may just be a trick of the light, though.
  14. Finally saw Doctor Strange. Worth the wait for a library copy. I'm glad to have it for this week, since Friday is the Netflix release of Iron Fist. Marvel rewatch-fest all week.
  15. The Truachesh have worshiped the Triuri for millennia, and are now sharing our faith with many others. We will endure.
  16. So much for we Truachesh to say. How do you think your people would manage that? Oleon invaders would not only have to contend with TC troops, but the Truachesh people. True words. The King abused his power, and the people responded. The Truachesh helped craft the new government. We are satisfied with the level of transparency. About Mardier: they seem to have forgotten their history. We remember The Day of Blood. We will make them, and others, remember.
  17. The build is well done. I have no issues with the surf. I'm guessing that a Truachesh settler, upon hearing the name, would spell it O'Gharogha. That roughly translates as 'from our grandchild.'
  18. @Legostone, sorry, but both of my ships will be part of my next stories.
  19. Just watch out for the one eyed, one horned flying purple people eater.
  20. Nice use of the old children's song about a Truachesh farmer. Is that gold in them thar fields?
  21. I think what @Itaria No Shintaku was getting at was that he had information that lead him to believe Series 18 was themed, but now thinks the theme may belong to a non-regular series. We have nothing definitive, so making declarative statements seems premature.
  22. The other box image was indistinct and shadowed.
  23. One thing: there is another meaning to the word 'historic'. It could mean 'history making' or 'unprecedented'. Or it could be relating to the anniversary of some 'historic' event. I'll do some research.
  24. Given all the legal challenges with Hasbro in the past, I don't think Marvel or Star Wars are ever going to be CMFs. Now there is the very real possibility that there is some licensed property that we haven't been made aware of, or some internal plans for a CMF series based on another of TLG's own media properties.
  25. Oh, well okay. I've never seen the movie, but the coat does seem proper for the period. The costumer did a good job then. Whitefang is good about keeping what he knows to himself, so as to ensure his status as a reviewer. I expect him to post nothing until the Lego approved date.
