  1. Also, the article makes no mention of Wolverine or the Sentinel.
  2. UoP DoH +1 for all claims.
  3. The 2014 Chima sets (including Spider and Scorpion tribes), I am given to understand, are slated for a March release in the US.
  4. Here are the original posts about the Beasts and Intelligent Species of Kaliphlin, by Mike S (aka Mikel Kalores, Masa of Kaliphlin).
  5. In the Kaliphlin Book 1 thread there were some posts about races and creatures. It was a nice narrative, but was never compiled into a thread. I'll take some time later to look for the posts.
  6. Someone on Flickr has the Lion Legend Beast. Check out 1wave's photostream. Awesome new parts.
  7. Congrats robuko. How many GOH babies does this make now? On that note, Tuesday I'll be placing an order that includes Duplo, as well as Friends, a Lego Movie Figure, and some Chima (if still available). I have some great plans ready to go. Anti-Climax is coming along, and the Fleshmage Bloodmane will be going to Nocturnus as the Nestlands Clans Embassador when the civil war has been settled. I may have to scale back my plans for the LDD Lost Vega casino build, but it should still be epic. There is also the proposed Sultan's Gate community build. Shall we build the Kaliphlin up while Avalonia splinters in their coming civil war?
  8. Orient Expedition had some great parts that were so unavailable. I never even saw these sets in any of my local stores. The theme itself, though, seems too scattered. If there ever is a reboot of the idea, the various cultures would best be represented with separate adventures. The bad guy should be an outside character, and Johnny Thunder (if they use him) should be helping the locals.
  9. Dorayaki, which Jane are you referring to, Tarzan or Return to Never Land?
  10. You talked about the arm and short leg printing, but official word from Lego (in an earlier video) has it that the multi-colored arms and short legs are molded that way. I haven't finished watching it yet, but thanks for the review. Now back to the video.
  11. I believe the missing name is Mei, from Mulan II.
  12. UoP DoH +1 on all claims. Wow.
  13. Technically, Kingdoms isn't gone. At least in the US. Kingdoms Joust is still available on the Shop At Home.
  14. My build time got cut into, so I didn't get to enter the challenge. That means I'll be reworking the build. The upper surface I'll be making into a freebuild for later, and the main support detail piece will now be the top of a tower in my Anti-Climax: Nestlands Market build. I just got some work on it done today.
  15. To that sentinel, the 2004 Danju large figure actually looks better. Remove the yellow and change the head and you have a classic X-Men sentinel.
  16. UoP DoH +1 for your claimed credit, but I don't think this build will qualify for the contest. Nice try, though.
  17. I don't know if I still have that fig together, but I can do it with another one. Maybe tomorrow. As for the Juggernaut, Lego could go the route the did for Hagrid in Harry Potter. Cain Marco isn't on the size scale of the Hulk, but he is taller and bulkier. The same could be done for the Blob.
  18. UoP DoH +1 on all claims.

  21. That was me, with the Power Miners monster arms idea. I've done this already. There is only shoulder articulation, and the hands have trouble holding most weapons, but the connection point is the same as a standard fig arm. When we only had the concept art for GOTG, I had thought that Lego might recolor the headgear from the Mouth of Sauron fig. Since the official movie pics have come out, though, I don't think that particular mold will do.
  22. Looks like I won't get my entry done on time, due to home issues. Nothing bad, just that other things have taken priority.
  23. If we get Sue Storm, we probably won't get her in trans. The more likely scenario is that we'll get her using her force field ability. Johnny Storm could get the same treatment as Electro, though. As for Wolverine's brown suit, I was referring to character timeline, not comic appearance. In Wolverine's timeline he joined Alpha Flight (Alpha Flight Special, 1992) before his first battle with the Hulk and Wendigo (Incredible Hulk #180-182, 1974). They also did an episode about Wolverine's history in the 90's tv show that has him putting on the brown suit when he joins Alpha Flight. I can still remember the scene vividly.
  24. Yes, the brown costume is the original version. It is the one he got when he joined Alpha Flight. The blue version of that costume came later. In recent years his son, Daken, wore a slightly darker, sleeveless version of the suit as Wolverine of Norman Osborn's Avengers.
