  1. This looks cool! I'd prefer a little bit more distance between the buildings and the tracks but I assume this to be a space issue with your layout.
  2. Great review. I really enjoyed the show but the accompanying sets could have been better, especially the Star Scavenger.
  3. You captured the scene really well. All those small details like fire-extinguishers or the first-aid kit on the wall really add to it.
  4. This looks great. One thing I would recommend is to reduce the number of street lamps in some areas, e.g. between Grand Emporium and Parisian Restaurant. Or is your city that dangerous at night that such an overabundance of street lights is necessary to guarantee the safety of its inhabitants?
  5. It will continue its life on the shelves... in who knows how many thousands of AFOL homes.
  6. I'm afraid I have to agree with @pinioncorp here. This doesn't look like it's supposed to be one building, at least if you look at it from the front. It's like three almost identical buildings are seperated by two totally different buildings which is rather unusual as a design. I can't remember ever having seen something comparable in real-life architecture from that era. Also, the mid-level section of your own design has a level with higher rooms on top of it. It usually looks better the other way around. If you do make any changes to your build I'd love to see you posting an update.
  7. This looks so good that I'm not sure if I'll be able to postpone the purchase until double VIP points.
  8. These ships look really awesome. Who wouldn't want to have these on display. And I don't mind that you added a few more ships in comparable size!
  9. You did a good job matching the colors, overall appearance and small deatails, too.
  10. Your build looks a little bit weird and over the top... but somehow it works and I really like it!
  11. This is a really nice build. I hope you don't mind if I borrow your display table idea at some point.
  12. I don't know how this compares to the source material but it's a nice little boat the way it is.
  13. The Grand Emporium isn't too long. It just needs two additional levels added for more height.
  14. Wouldn't a candy shop be more appropriate to combine with a dentist's office? It surely would lead to a nice educational background story.
  15. Someone on the brickpicker forum has the same username as you... just sayin' in case you didn't know.
  16. Exactly. If the quality of a "good" project allows it to reach the 1,000 supporters milestone within the first year then 100 supporters within 60 days shouldn't be that big a hurdle.
  17. This is just amazing! If this were an official set I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I liked your Hiker story. Thankfully the giant hand provided a good ending.
  19. I don't understand why you call it a poor design unless you think modern churches in general are lacking in design compared to churches from earlier centuries. For what it tries to depict I think it turned out great.
  20. Thanks for sharing your version. In my opinion, it looks great. I'll probably make similar substitutions when I'll bricklink the CC at some point.
  21. This is a really nice modern building. The interior is fantastic.
  22. I just noticed your build and I have to say that it looks really cool.
  23. This is really cute. I like it a lot.
  24. A botanical garden is something you don't see very often in LEGO form. And your interpretation of that subject looks great.
  25. In my opinion, LEGO ruined the set with their redesign. Others may feel differently, of course.
