[COR] Captain Bran and the Queens Shade
blackdeathgr replied to narbilu's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A nice first take on a ship. I find it lovingly built and cute. As to how you can contribute to the Economic Game System (or EGS), after you have chosen your preferred faction (namely Corrington in your case), your fellow co-builders can help you tremendously at the respected thread. Or better yet, always helpful Faladrin summed it up for you- 6 replies

Very nice work! Your rock and wall building skills are great as usual and so is the vegetation. Only thing that strikes me as odd is the lower part of the tower (the spot you used some diagonally placed windows etc). But all the rest including the pier and the 1st dimly lit photo rock!

[ESL FB1] The Stormbringer and "Poseidon’s Turncoat"
blackdeathgr replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like this ship A LOT! It feels so classic and to me it answers the question "What IFS (2010) would look like, back in the 90s". Great job and eagerly waiting to see your take with the tumblehome as well. -

One of those builds that although small, is so inspiring and full of innovative techniques! -

Nice hilariously written work as always but why do you use the back of the plates? Too avant garde for a traditional Oleander like me -

Yeap, i like it too. It's always good when you make a MOC full of small details. What caught my eye above all, is the hanging shark and the also hanging skeleton! -
Also dont forget to licence buildings if any, for the EGS

[Ol vs. Nam I] That fresh lemon scent
blackdeathgr replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent! Building-wise I really like the curving of the ships, the holes at the hull, the bell and her multiple levels and above all the greeble used as weight at the deepest level of the ship and the unconventional pieces used as sea. Story-wise i love the advertisement you made about "Pine Sol" ™. -

Funny build! And the supervisor minifig is soo fitting! But I am really curious as to what these pirates are doing... Is this some kind of gem and gold laundring ??? And why are there penguins?? Hm... pondering... pondering... -
[COR - Jun FB2] Banana Plantation, Mooreton Bay
blackdeathgr replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Fine build! Regarding hanging bananas, my LEGO mechanical engineering laboratory is working hard to find a solution, since i, too am fond of hanging bananas on palm trees. I've used 1x1 black clips once that somehow did the trick (mainly due to color being black and not too apparent on photographs) but it is a problem that definitely needs a more elegant solution and i am sure that a capable BoBS engineer will find one soon, thus contributing to this loving eurobricks forum- 7 replies
