  1. Only one picture says it all in this MOC. Absolutely fantastic! The action is superb! I even ducked in case the cannonball hit me out of the screen! And all these colors... THIS is a true "pillage the village" minded entry!!!
  2. Really nice fort, rockwork and scenery :)
  3. Nice colors. Brown will always be classic!
  4. Hm i have the same feelings for your axe-rudder and was thinking it a couple of days ago. May i steal it too??? After all we are all pirates and plundering is in our blood!
  5. Thanks! No monkey, no party guys :-)
  6. Nice scene!Instalike!
  7. Really nice work! I especially admire its architecture :-)
  8. I haven't treated them yet but i will do so in due time. Nail polisher must do the trick i guess and is readily available unless my wife starts chasing me :-p next step would be to visit the neighbour's tailor to make me some lines on the sails imitating lesser ropes.
  9. Hehehe, yes. It is a glass tabletop that i have in my balcony. But upon placing the moc there it also seemed to me like a calm sea surface. It happened accidentally though since i took the moc out to find more light for the shooting.
  10. Thanks. Although cant be seen really well, i tried every minifig show their true feelings :-)
  11. A really nice bustling road! Building interior is nice too. Take cover puny bluecoats!
  12. Nice concept and even nicer picture editing :)
  13. I always like it when you get so many details in such a confined space :)
  14. Bring in the monkey brains then!!!
  15. Hi guys, Here is my entry at PTV 2015 Large division. Judgement Day. Because after all, all this pillaging and stealing has a sure end! Historically only 5% got away with pirate life. So that leaves us with 95% hanged pirates. Even small children working at pirates sloops didn't make it. There is also one record with a hanged pirate that was caught after serving only a couple of days in a pirate ship. Talking about bad luck! I tried to include every pirate drama in this MOC. Anger (angry mob), Satisfaction (governor), Love (lieutenant with governor's daughter), Fear (pirates ready to be hanged), Hope or Revenge (pirates ready to storm the execution). Thanks for watching and wish you all luck. UPDATE! (gory version) It turned out that the bluecoats had it coming! The rioters were nothing but a bunch of fellow pirates! And of course they couldn't stand still while fellow pirates were about to be hanged... judgement day riot C by Spy Tha, on Flickr judgement day riot B by Spy Tha, on Flickr judgement day riot D by Spy Tha, on Flickr judgement day riot A by Spy Tha, on Flickr judgement day riot E by Spy Tha, on Flickr As always, good luck to all the participants!
  16. So no flowers for the dead pirates?? :P
  17. Very imaginative :)
  18. Since i didn't know where to post this mod i made to 70413, i am posting it here. Merely the sails have changed since the original were sub par only due to the fact that they weren't double-side printed (especially the front triangle sail that looked meh). So here they are: My custom fabric sails (With or without the contour line. I personally prefer them without it) 70413 custom sails by Spy Tha, on Flickr
  19. Dont despair! PotC is coming 2017 and there will be sets to feast upon this movie's marketing galore. Also 2016 ninjago has some (asian?) pirate stuff coming and after all these you have the "regular" 3-6 year LEGO pirates line cycle to hope for. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
  20. Hehe, thanks guys. Those curved bricks always get my imagination going, although they are not easily used. Think circular!
  21. Hehehe, nice build! "Fire" the redcoats :P
  22. That...wolf...is...scarily beautiful! Run for your lives!!!
  23. Nice steampunk MOC and i double on the fascinating clouds and the city watched from above.
  24. I just LOVE this tavern! Believe it or not what impressed me the most (besides all that fun scenes around) is the wine spilled in the sea. It is one for those moments that makes LEGO bricks shine as a storytelling/expressing method. It shows both movement and energy in a fascinating way. Oh, and the scene from The LEGO movie too, cause... "everything is awesome" in this MOC
