  1. Sweet car! It even has wiper blades.
  2. Great roof and lovely overall design. Love the lighting and fits in marvelously with an amazing street!
  3. This is stunning. What an amazing project to complete with your daughter. Very whimsical and love all the different rooms and the colours works perfectly.
  4. Love the updates to your cider mill and the truck is a great addition and matches the feel of the mill. Definitely getting into the Holiday spirit here as well.
  5. Excellent! Love the misfiring of the wrong wands and the atmosphere created when Harry uses the wand that fits. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Beautiful build that matches your first building perfectly and a wonderful interior. Can hardly wait to see what the third Amsterdam build is like.
  7. Great first modular build. I really like the interiors and all that is going on. Definitely an abstract artist. Nice floor on the jewelry store too.
  8. Thanks, it takes a lot of tiles but I really like the affect too.
  9. Thanks :) The pirate theme is fun to play around with. So many interesting things for pirates to do.
  10. Thanks! I really like the open backs to display what is going on inside on street scenes. Modulars are fantastic but open back builds are easier to manipulate what is going on inside the builds. I love experimenting with new techniques, especially when they work out as intended ;)
  11. Thanks, the welding torches have nice curves. The stained glass is from the latest modular building the Brick Bank. Fun, but too much time spent on bricklink :) searching for the right tiles. All of the printed tiles and stickers are official. Thanks, I was trying to achieve the effect that you get being in Disneyland's New Orleans Square, home of Pirates of the Caribbean, mixed with some of the buildings around Adventureland. uote MultiQuote
  12. Thanks for the comments. I don't think it's a legal build on the chandelier in the Crystal Palace but I like my solution of using the whole assembly for the set of two keys as the connection to the roof. The thin bit of plastic between the keys is threaded through the chain and the thicker plastic is threaded to the two now detached keys which are held in place by modified 1x1 plates attached to the roof (not a wasted piece of lego).
  13. Uptown/Downtown Pirate Style by Karen Metz, on Flickr Disneyland's New Orleans Square inspired me to create a pirate themed street somewhere in the French Quarter. Here are my officer's versus deckhand pubs, the Crystal Palace Captain's Club and the South Seas Scallywag. The Crystal Palace facade is similar to the Cristal d'Orleans. I tried to make the Scallywag more rustic. 14. Thanks for sharing the historical information on this amazing lego build. Both the interior and exterior are fantastic.
  15. The doombuggies are great as is the jungle cruise boat, which are my faves. So many fun inspirations from Disney rides. Congrats!
  16. Thanks for the location. Hope I can find him in person! Haven't seen Shrunken Ned in person but seeing youtube videos of him in action you are supposed to put your hand on a palm print and he will give you a pithy life lesson. Very hard to find a printed tile with a palm print but I think the one I used represents it fairly well. I really like the colours in Esmeralda as well. Thanks for the comments.
  17. Thanks for the comments! The frogs make great scroll legs. I agree and have an idea of how I want to make them. Has the Penny Arcade turned into the Nickel Arcade due to inflation? I haven't been to Disneyland and got my reference material online. According to internet sources Fortune Red used to be part of the Pirate Arcade Museum but is now located by the Pieces of Eight shop. Going to look for all of them this August.
  18. Get "a-head" in life with advice from Shrunken Ned. Let Esmeralda predict your future, or let Fortune Red direct you to your fortune. All three can be found in Disneyland. 19. This is spectacular. Love all the easter eggs! Can't say which is my favourite feature since there are so many surprises. Congrats!
  20. Love the additions. Your lighting effects are amazing. So many different spells being cast.
  21. This is beautiful. So much detail, even the ceiling with the stunning chandeliers. Can't wait to see the finished hotel.
  22. This is magnificent. The level of detail is stunning. WOW!
  23. These photos are great. I would love to see some of the other characters that don't have official minifigs, like Tonks, Moaning Myrtle, or the Gryffindor Quidditch team represented. One of my favourite official Lego Harry Potter minifigs is Bellatrix Lestrange.
  24. Sad that your Lego Ideas project was not picked. I too originally signed up on Lego Ideas just to support your design. Thanks for showing us your MOC made out of real bricks. The ship and the vignettes turned out very well.
  25. Sorry no instructions. I revamped this and used most of the pieces to turn it into this: 20160211_100217 by Karen Metz, on Flickr 20160211_100237 by Karen Metz, on Flickr I highly recommend the tower bridge set to create MOCs.
