Like the use of crystal eggs for lights. Great yellow awnings as well. Very nice MOC!

[MOC] Copenhagen suburban townhouse from the 50ies
kjm161 replied to Esben Kolind's topic in LEGO Town
Great photo of your friend's son building the house and how all the parts were put in individual containers. Such a lovely thing to have done and it looks great and very much like the real house. Congrats! -
So well done, even down to the toes and tail feathers. Fabulous build!

Even the woodland critters in the goblin kingdom need a cozy home. A slightly scary hollow tree with a forgotten tunnel and den underneath provide shelter for various elven animals and keeps the goblins at bay. What a lush, beautiful village. I like the foliage on the roofs and that each home has a unique colour scheme. Great build.

What a great building with fabulous details inside and out. I really like the subtle touches like the yellow awnings, anchors and that it feels like you are at the harbour. Wonderful!

I was not familiar with doozy models before your post and after looking them up can see why you were inspired. Great job in recreating one in Lego! I like all the details you were able to include. I particularly like your table and chair.

Thanks for sharing the evolution of these bricks! Sad that you could keep the interiors for IDEAS, since lots of people really like the insides of buildings, even Lego designers, as is evident by the expanding interiors of their modular buildings. Great builds!

Thanks so much! The wallpaper bricks were a big purchase, and some of the other little parts really add up, especially parts like the bumblebee pot to match the poem, but I just had to include :).

Thanks Redhead1982 for all your lovely comments and observations. The almost monochromatic exterior was challenging to not make it look too box-like. I agree that the house is a bit close to the cliffs but it was a compromise so that I could include the waves, beach and sea as well as keep the building large enough for the detailed interior that is already smaller due to the double walls. The MOC is built on four 32x32 base plates which is my largest build so far, and I still wanted to be able to move it relatively easily; oh to have more space! The trans-clear fans are from the Dr. Strange lego set.

Good luck in the Hopl'awards. It is a wonderful film! Voted!

So many pictures needed to make this wonderful short film. Very impressed with the builds as well as the animation.

Love your Amsterdam project and this final build is fantastic. I really like the addition of the canal boathouses.

Perfect little gas station and it really has a vintage feel from the 40s or 50s.

Very well done! Love the detail of the antlers as well. The timbers are wonderfully patterned on the cottage.

Thanks! I really like the decorated parts to add detail. Amazing idea and perfectly executed. The builds from each of the countries make them instantly recognizable.

It would be great if they come up with another design for the wallpaper bricks since they add so much detail. Actually a 1x2 in them would add so much versatility. Thanks for the kind words. Below is a picture of four of the upstairs beds.Lego beds: And Then There Were None by Karen Metz, on Flickr Glad they have the microfigs for the 10 little soldiers. Thanks so much! I did look at photos from the BBC production for inspiration. Their set design is gorgeous and it a great adaptation of the novel. Thanks! I tried using sand green, blue and red as the main colours with white and dark blue for the interior. Two of the upstairs bedrooms give a nod to two of Agatha Christie's other mysteries "Murder on the Orient Express" (which is why the room has a train and more Oriental feel) and "Death on the Nile". Thanks for the kind words! So glad you like it. Thanks!

Thanks! I do like doing interiors with all the little parts. Thanks, I love Agatha Christie as well and this is one of my favourite of her novels. Such a great time period to try and recreate design wise. Thanks, the art deco aesthetic that was used in the BBC production of the novel was the inspiration for my interior. It has a great atmosphere. Definitely, never give away your Lego! :) Thanks for the kind words. Thanks! Lots of time spent on bricklink searching for just the right part. Thanks, the Batman Classic Television set really came in handy for the rock work (glad it went on sale) and those minifig wave pieces worked well for the water as well. Highly recommend Agatha Christie if you like mystery novels. There are also great TV/Movie renditions of many of her works as well. Hopefully will get more pics taken soon to tell more of the story. Thanks! :)

And Then There Were None by Karen Metz, on Flickr This is my interpretation of Agatha Christie's novel. The interior is complete as well. I used a double wall technique to give the interior an art deco feel (and used a lot of bricks in the process). In the first few photos Fred Narracott leaves the "Ten Little" guests and employees of the mysterious U. N. Owen for a fateful visit on Soldier Island. These include Judge Lawerence Wargrave, Vera Claythorne, William Henry Blore, Dr. Edward George Armstrong, General John Gordon Macarthur, Philip Lombard, Emily Brent, Anthony Marston Thomas Rogers and Ethel Rogers. I plan on taking more photos with the figures as they met their demise according to the poem below. Great interior detail. Those basketball nets are used wonderfully. I really like your whismical TOYS sign out front.

Thanks. I can see what you mean with the time machine, but at least it is in the correct Victorian time period ;). The model required a base and I thought I would make it more substantial to include the ape, fossil, picture of the ship and the barnacles and add elements relevant to Darwin. I also wanted to make Darwin sitting down similar to many photos that were taken of him, particularly when he was older with his white beard. Thanks for the nice comments. Thanks! Thanks!
