  1. Is your YouTube channel your primary source of income? If so, his point may have some ( still very little) weight to it. If it's just for entertainment purposes then I think the answer is obvious tbh
  2. Oh man, the b-model for the helicopter looks rough. As far as mechanics/features go the A-model looks quite dissapointing tbh. I would've at least expected a pair of mini LAs to operate the ramp. I was anticipating a working swashplate too but in hindsight that may have been too much to ask for. The upside is it seems to have a massive number of panels...
  3. I love the smart! Not a big fan of G-wagons in general so to be honest but I am looking forward to the clk-gtr. My favorite Mercedes of all time :)
  4. This is really cool! My next project is definitely going to be something like this machine. Thanks for the inspiration! I love this :)
  5. I have to be honest with you, this is a really nice MOC but I'm not sure instructions are worth $10 when crowkillers has instructions for his gallardo for free...
  6. Meh, I agree that they look great but as I said I really don't see them being very useful in MOCs. Well IMO last years 1h sets were way more interesting and looked way better than this years ( with the exception of the firetruck, but thats if and only if it makes it's way into production).
  7. Don't really understand why everyone is so crazy about these tires, they have very limited use in MOCs. I can see them being used in something like a Mars rover or a monster truck but that's about it. Regarding the set, I think the both the A-model and the B-model look downright awful. First time I've been completely and utterly uninterested in medium sized technic set. Lego better step up their game for the 2nd wave.
  8. Thanks for your interest! Well, yes and no. The project has evolved into a different car altogether, with the same principles of rear mounted gearbox, realistic chassis+body and gapless bodywork being applied. I decided not to the update the WIP because as a full time college student I rarely get any time to build. On my "free" weeks I could maybe squeeze in about an hour on Saturday and Sunday but that's about it. So the build is really moving at a snails pace :( But I'm still hoping to have something ready to present to you by the end of next summer!
  9. This is absolutely mind blowing, just wow!! Bodywork isn't up my alley but technically it's beyond impressive.
  10. Whoa, take it easy there big guy. I read up to that post and immediately quoted it without looking at the posts below. My bad. Same here. That's pretty much the only 1st half set I'm willing to spend money on. From the prelim images it looks like it has a decent number of those big flat panels so I think i might get it anyway..
  11. What on earth am I looking at here? Looks like a Mars rover and a dump truck had one really ugly baby
  12. True, in reality it's way more "red-ish" than purple. No idea tbh. How did you know it was a P though
  13. Beautiful model and superb photography! I don't really like the IR receiver ( as others have already pointed out) and how the roof extends past the c-pillar. I also think the area in front of the doors could be a little cleaner - it doesn't really integrate well with the smooth gapless bodywork But other than, great job :)
  14. Not exactly the same purple but close enough!
  15. LOL Thanks, I think I look pretty handsome there myself. Oh man, an Alfa Giulia would honestly be amazing. I'm not a Merc fan either but it was an educated guess based on the info at hand. Also good call on the cabrio. Would make sense since an "ultimate" set would have to have a few features that would make it stand out. Just a plain old car with a gearbox to open the doors and trunk won't do IMO.
  16. I don't see the Ford GT being the Ultimate supercar tbh, the lines of that car are IMO too complex to accurately model using standard technic pieces. I'll be seriously happy if its a 4 door sedan instead of a supercar. Considering that TLG already has a licensing agreement with Mercedes Benz wouldn't there be a chance of it being something like an E-class? ( don't really know how these license things work though)
  17. How do you plan on driving the actuators in the outriggers though?
  18. Wow!! You have already surpassed my expectations and the build is not even halfway done yet. This is really turning out to be one of the most amazing builds I have ever seen. P.S I love the wheels! They look absolutely brilliant.
  19. Competition is over before it even started... imo I am looking forward to the finished product, and hopefully the functional elements of this MOC will be more robust than the ones of the MOC you entered for TC6.. As for the back section, I too am not a fan of the stickers. Best of luck milan!
  20. What the hell?..... I keep telling myself that this is Lego, but my brain just keeps rejecting that idea.. Jesus Christ.
  21. How dare you tease us like that
  22. Wow, I didn't even think of that. IMO this is the most plausible explanation yet.
  23. Well, I know that looks are subjective, but I think it looks extremely cool. Cooler than a mobile crane or an Arocs. This sounds very plausible, except I think the lifting cabin will be manual rather than motorized. n
  24. Ahhh, that is true. Personally, if this leak turned out to be NOT true, best case scenario would be EW160 flagship with pneumatics for 2017, while the IP car and the Xerion being run of the mill non licensed sets ( regular car and tractor). I agree wholeheartedly. It would be a crime to make a half-a$$ed model out of the EW160. It has so much potential.
