  1. What!? No chin cannons!? And again that weird panel design, why? Leave my AT-AT well enough alone Thinking of the cannons, why do the medium blasters have the same sound as the main heavy chin cannons? Anyway, thank you for looking back through the topic and catching up on all the updates and discussion—I appreciate the encouragement and motivation!
  2. Yeah, something weird from the looks of it, but I hope I can come around to liking it. Though in addition to this (probably unnecessary) design (unless it has a canonical explanation), it seemed to me that the walkers appeared slender than than how they did in ESB? Wow a new AT-ST—great news! It has been so long, like 8 years; I hope Lego won't disappoint.
  3. Honestly, you just have to compare the prices, especially since there is no established list detailing B&P prices for each individual piece. To optimize the amount of stores I am buying from when I planned to build some of the components for my AT-AT, I first generate a Bricklink Wanted list through BrickStock, find stores that have the most unique lots and reasonable prices, then painstakingly see how their prices compare to B&P. If the prices from the Bricklink store compare greater than B&P, I subtract those pieces from the wanted list, and with those, create a new list on Brickstock to use for my B&P shopping cart, this would also be the case if the particular Bricklink store does not have all the pieces I require. However, in another case when I find out which lots the particular Bricklink store does not have, I would create a new wanted list out of those items and find another Bricklink store that has them. I hope that you will coherently understand my methods as I described, and I hope this will help you!
  4. The part usage I am fond of the most is the wagon wheel and the arches connecting to the wings—fantastic work!
  5. Thanks Kevin! It seems like every LEGO element involved has been made specifically for a time as this —I cannot yet profoundly express how beautiful this build is coming together—truly phenomenal!
  6. Oh I see it now, though it appeared fine some time ago, but I appreciate you for pointing it out.
  7. Sounds better as "I found a box full of LEGO!" Then you could just add on to that: … "Full of LEGO pieces!" Or … "Full of LEGO sets!" Or … "Full of LEGO minifigures!"
  8. Ah, alright, I see it now! Keep up the great work!
  9. Well, it works for me—simply fantastic! Looking at the nice size of your speeder bike, I begin wishing if Lego would eventually produce motorcycle-like chassis (plus new sign and flag shapes) designed specifically for speederbikes. Especially considering the size of Kanan's speederbike; his claw hands can barely reach the handle bars and the vehicle is taller than the minifigure! Anyway, great work!
  10. Did I hear "AT-AT?" Nice work on the AT-RT! I always thought that it was a another walker itself—the design reminds me of the AT-XT!
  11. It looks on par with the UCS R2-D2 for the most part. Though what about the gap between head and body or the differing diameters of the two components, is that accurate?
  12. I am most fond of the design for the handle bars—simple yet effective!
  13. Though it would be interesting to see how vitreolum would do "The Scream" figure in Lego.
  14. For a moment I thought it was "The Scream," but this looks great too.
  15. I believe chopper is more gray than he is white. Plus the sand green matches better with the gray, and the gray with the orange.
  16. Here is other topics around here about Bricklinking and MODding this set: Link Link Link Link Generally what you will find is that this set has great room for improving the design, and those parts that are ultra rare and extremely overpriced can be substituted with less expensive different colored ones and then spray painted to the desired color, or just swapped with different parts entirely. Hope this helps EDIT: Replaced fourth link since your topic was merged with it
  17. Fantastic! Exceptional work especially on the pattern and color scheme—spot on for the most part!
  18. … but for what it is, it's simply a-maze(-ing)!Sorry, just had too Joking aside, a possible modification to increase the effectiveness of the pitfalls could be accomplished with (6231) or even more simply with the newer (23969). However though, the depth of the maze will have to be deeper and that would require extra parts, but I hope the extra thickness will not interfere with the mechanism… What do you guys think?
  19. Well, it could function by selecting the desired part with the index finger (preferably from the right hand) and drag it across the screen to wherever desired, then release the finger to drop it or snap it to another part. For rotating the camera view besides with the arrows, it could function by dragging the thumb and index finger across the screen, then expand or draw them in closer to zoom in/zoom out.
  20. That is also what it seems like for LDD: if the model is being designed with reality in mind and some assemblies are grouped, the program will generate the sequences of the building guide according to that order. This would be likely, because during designing, the action of when a particular brick is placed and one(s) afterwards would be recorded in that sequence and stored for later to be recalled when generating the building guide. Logically, I realize the program wouldn't be at all clever to make a building guide in a reliable fashion if the bricks are not accordingly
  21. YES!!! Now port it to the iOS so I can use it on the iPad
  22. Fantastic progress so far! I was always fond of the dark red colored bridge on a particular render of the Venator. However, how about adding the your photos to your topic from the share feature on flickr by copying the BBCode in the appropriate size?
  23. It is certainly exciting! I myself cannot wait to see what is in store for the infrastructure to tie everything together—time for me to stop dreading the overwhelming possibilities of how it can be done and just jump into it! Almost seven years being a member here and still discovering new things—never too experience to learn something new Thanks! Is there a blank photo, or is that complementary slang talk? I am unsure and feel silly Much appreciated krisandkris12! It brings to mind that I could use the same technique for the greebles on the rear of the roof! I thank everyone for their continual support!
