Do you happen to know who the figure is in the Siege Machine that Capn didn't see? I like what I hear about this wave, for sure. The Book Keeper is a nice surprise and I'm quite happy that we'll be getting him. I plan on picking up the Glob Lobber, Aaron's Arrow Striker, the Siege Machine, and the Volcano Base. Regarding the Volcano Base and it's "Dullness" > Says it's "Dull" > Minifigure selection is excellent > Impressive size > Impressive amount of features > Almost completely black You and I have a different meaning of "Dull", my friend. For those who are wondering where Whiparella is, I think it's highly unlikely that she was the figure that Capn "Missed" in the Siege Machine. Everyone seems to be forgetting that there's a store exclusive we know nothing about, which is where she will probably be. Will there be pictures at Nuremberg on Wednesday? EDIT: Missed it by twelve minutes, but this topic is one year old.

There's really no excuse for the *pathetic* descriptions provided for themes such as Bionicle. There were only two regular DC sets there and each had a small college paper devoted to them. Meanwhile, Bionicle......"It's childish". Look, I don't like Bionicle at all but it's only fair that they get equally detailed descriptions. The DC stuff could have been summarized in a few lines anyway. Batman is always going to get a Bat-something, so that's half of the set right there. It's really frustrating that the Brickfanatics guys went this morning and managed to open a whole new can of worms with their vague descriptions...... How many figs does the Lava base actually have? What do you mean, hand-held? How does a tower fly? etc. And Brickset posting a Nexo picture as the cover for the first section of the report and clearly intend to save it for last....... Sorry for the rant, just a little frustrated.

Looks like the guys on Brickset are saving Nexo for last...... I guess I can wait. Anxious to see if the rumor of just 4 figs is true, and why it doesn't match up at all with what J2G said.

Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I wouldn't bother if I were you. The time for drawings was a month ago and it would be irrational to ask for them considering we will have every detail on every summer set in a few days. -

I agree with this. For example, I love the Star Wars movies and shows, but I'm not as fond of the sets because they are mostly comprised of large, bulky gimmicks that make them look quite unattractive from certain angles, as well as having reduced "figure space" because of them. There are a few Castle sets that use their play features well, such as Mill Village Raid, with it's winch, trapdoor, and windmill spinning function. None of those feature detract from the model and you could ignore them if you wanted to.

Toy Shop (New Version)- A classic set, getting the old one would be way to expensive, and they're virtually the same. Bakery- Narrow choice over the Post office, but it has a bonus Ice Skating Rink and a christmas tree stand and wagon, so it's the better deal. Cottage- One of the best livable houses Lego has ever made, highly detailed and worth your time. Santa's Workshop- Every village needs this. Hope that helps.

When's the London Toy Fair? Sunday? I really hope that Brickset comes through with descriptions of the sets, but I'm apprehensive that the NK sets will even be there considering that we barely know anything about them.

What Ninjago Set Should I Buy?
BrickJagger replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Bounty. You're getting a Dragon almost as big as the Morro Dragon (It would be indulgent to buy both IMO) and a MASSIVE ship. Also, tons of mini figures and play features. PS There's already a thread for this sort of question: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82467- 6 replies

To be honest, Elves really is turning into a pretty good theme and has far surpassed my expectations. However, I just can't get over the mini-dolls and the cutesy animals.

Infernox Captures the Queen and........ that's it. Should be a light month, which is good.

Yeah, it's official.

Sci-Fi is huge right now, which is why almost every theme nowadays has tech influences.

Lego Ninjago 2016

We saw a picture of that along with the pirate poly back in November, didn't we? -
Chima lasted for three years and had six waves. I'm so sorry, I can't help myself. Nexo is different enough from *the other* Castle themes for there to be a new *traditional* Castle theme running *co-currently* with it. It doesn't have to be something big, in fact Lego would probably put out a small theme like Castle 2013 that people (who like knight visors from 1978) would enjoy to hold them over until the the almighty "regular" Castle returns.

Well, yeah. The Brickset team always provides descriptions.
