[MOC] Flinx's Flaming CHI Fortress
BrickJagger replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't think it's ever happening at this point. They probably didn't get enough submissions. Maybe you can take having the best entry on EB as a consolation prize?- 48 replies

In a sense, that's Castle as a whole in a nutshell

Just finished building the King's Mech and I have to say that it's one of the best mechs Lego has ever made. Pretty much the only issue I have with it is the Squirebot being a lock to get smashed in a fight......poor guy.

Adventures End

Nice work! I like the attention to detail in each of the "Artifacts" -
Another empowering essay, this time about nutrition, is my signature. Looks like our usual spammers got tired and hired some third graders to do the dirty work.

This is correct. Let's get off of the topic before anyone else gets confused.

What?

They age backwards. Duh. Thats why the adults came first, followed by the children and the babies.

It wouldn't be exclusive..... I'll predict- Crust Smasher, Lavaria, two spider Globlins, Robin and Lance. Small flyer for Crust Smasher, Big Mech for Robin. Lance and Lavaria fight on foot (Or tail ) 530 pieces is pretty generous for $40, and I suspect that not all of those will be used on the mech.
-
I don't mind that! The exclusive sounds excellent. Even bigger then the King's Mech! Hopefully the baddies get a small vehicle as well, they seem to be lacking in the second wave.

Can't say I agree, sorry. A clever argument, though.

Parisian. Definitely a memorable build and looks great on display.

Hopefully Ava becomes a sorcerer at some point...her last name is "Prentice", after all.

LEGO Ideas Discussion
BrickJagger replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Definitely agree with this. Playlets are just more ascetically pleasing to look at for me, and I don't like those ridiculous, oversized "Ultra" sets that cost $250 plus. Alas, the trend on Ideas is "Go big or go home", and the people there still don't realize that their massive creation will never make it, no matter how good it looks. -
I'm not sure that I really understand the hate here- IMHO Star Wars fans aren't satisfied with anything. When a new, detailed set is revealed, you say it needs interior space. When a playable set with interior space is revealed, you say it needs more detail. And such. This set is clearly well designed, and aside from and AT-AT has everything someone looking to build a Hoth diorama could want. Even better, this set is designed in the same vein as the other "Regular" sets so that they will integrate nicely, instead of looking overly detailed or bulky. To the ones complaining "We've seen all of this stuff before!" keep in mind that there's only so much Hoth stuff Lego can make. There has been a rehash of practically every Star Wars location ever, so how is this any different? Such frivolous complaints include those about the Wampa Cave. Look, the original came out six years ago, and there are a finite number of Lego Star Wars fans who own every set ever as compared to Lego's core audience. Give 'em a break! I think that Lego did a good job here and should be applauded for their efforts.

In this thread: Peppermint_M spams about spam. A deeply inspirational essay indeed. Thank you, O wise and learned master.

^ Yet another reason why Aaron is far and away the best Nexo Knight.
-
Wow- Didn't think the Siege Engine would have so many pieces! I guess $50 would be reasonable. Brickshow has a up showcasing the Lava Lair. From what I can see, there's a rotating wall, spinning saw blade, trapdoor, armory, bathroom, treasury, prison, bedroom, room with a cauldron, storage room, throne room, and a cage in which what I assume is Robin's chicken is stored. 1186 parts.

New shield? Looks interesting and it might be useful for anyone looking to pick up one of those giant swords. I guess I'll be at TRU on the 20th
-
Why is he holding a cigarette?

This Black Mech is a strong indicator that the Nexo Knights will eventually use their black uniforms, with Robin in the lead, as the Black Knight, in his mech. Completely black shadow-knights vs evil plant men, wouldn't that be something?

Recently I've noticed that, whenever I attempt to highlight a section of a post I am in the process of writing, EB glitches out and "Drags" me to the bottom of the page. Basically, I can't highlight parts of my posts that I want to delete. This is actually quite frustrating, and I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing the same problem.

What do you predict we will get in 2017? These two factions make sense because there's a dark forest and a evil-looking ocean on the NK continent. We've already gotten Lava, and if you take away the Dark Forest and the Ocean, that leaves Desert Snow Plains Mysterious white tower thingy in the lower left corner of the map And that's all. Clearly the forest is the most profitable location out of these, so it's logical to make sets based on it. MONSTER UPDATE We now have: Jestro Book of Monsters 10 Lava Monsters 4 Scurriers 3 Lava Golems 3 Globlins Moltrox (Show-Only?) Mushlord 5 Plant Monsters 2 Water Monsters Water Golem Behemoth of Brine (Will probably be show-only) Giving us 32 individual known monsters, with more on the way. Pretty impressive.
